Super Eagles attacker, Victor Boniface was again on the scoresheet for Bayer Leverkusen in their 4-0 win at home to Swedish side, BK Haecken in a UEFA Europa League Group H tie played yesterday.
Boniface gave the assist for Florian Wirtz’s 10th minute opener for the home side before Amine Adli doubled the advantage six minutes later. Boniface notched the third goal in the 67th minute before Jonas Hofmann’s 70th minute goal added more icing on the cake.
The Nigerian was withdrawn in the 73rd minute as a replacement for Adam Hlozek.

Bayer Leverkusen are ahead in Group H with three points and plus four goals difference while Qarabag FK of Azerbaijan that pipped Norwegian side, Molde are in second place with three points, also.
In Switzerland, Slavia Prague started Igoh Ogbu who scored one of his team’s two goals against Servette.
Lukas Masopust put the visitors in the lead in the 32nd minute before Ogbu notched the second in the 59th minute.
Another Nigerian who played in the Group G game was Muhammed Tijani who came on in the 52nd minute as a replacement for Masopust.
In a Europa Conference League tie, Genk were held to a 2-2 draw by Fiorentina. Toluwalase Arokodare came on in the 72nd minute.
