Members of the 1988 set of the Old Grammarian Society of the CMS Grammar School, Lagos, have celebrated their deceased colleagues during their end-of-the-year party.
The event was held at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos.
In his goodwill message at the occasion, the President-General (worldwide) of the Society, Cyril Ogbekene, rejoiced with the members of the set for ending the year with thanksgiving.

He said: “As the President-General of the Society Worldwide, I’m striving to build a strong and reliable central body, which can only be possible through the strong sets of the Society all over the world”.
Ogbekene maintained that based on what he saw at the programme, the ’88 set is helping to achieve its set goal. He commended the set for remembering their late colleagues’ families and encouraged them to bring more of their colleagues into their fold.
