The 13th Edition of Ogwashi-Uku Awards/Dinner night holds today December 25 at the Frankbryan Resorts, Ogwashi-Uku Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta state.
According to a statement by Antonia Oguah Chief Host of the Carnival, the decision to shift grounds to allow Frankbryan Resort to host this year’s Awards is because Frankbryan Resort is an ideal location.
The cream de la creme of Delta state, son’s and daughters of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom, top government functionaries, tourists as well as holiday makers are expected at the carnival.

Oguah disclosed that awards would be given on behalf of the sponsors, Ogwashi-Uku Association USA Inc. adding that a total of 15 awards would be given to deserving personalities and from Ogwashi-Uku and other states of the federation for their invaluable contributions to the overall development of the Community, Delta State and Nigeria.
She listed some of them to include the Okeowo twin brothers Arch. And Engineer Okeowo who built the wonderful Resort in Ogwashi-Uku, High Chief Iyase Mike Nwaukoni and High Chief Jude Ozah the Isagba of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom.
