    Ojelabi to Nigerians: together we can achieve greatness

    Chair of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Cornelius Ojelabi, has urged Nigerians to work together for greatness.

    Ojelabi reaffirmed the party’s commitment to ideals of unity and inclusivity, growth and development, good governance and accountability.

    The chair, in his Independence message, said the party will continue to work for a better Nigeria.

    He said: “Today, we reflect on our country’s journey and the progress we’ve made together. We honour the sacrifices of our founding fathers and the resilience of our people.

    ‘Let us build Nigeria and Lagos. You are the backbone of our nation and state.”

    Ojelabi also reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the ideals of unity and inclusivity, economic growth and development, good governance and accountability.

    The chairman, in his independence message to Lagosians, said the party will continue to work tirelessly for a better Nigeria, Lagos empowering youths, the communities, and uplifting our citizens.

    Ojelabi fetes Muslims, preaches love

    Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State Cornelius Ojelabi has admonished Muslims to keep promises and love their neighbours.

    In his goodwill message to mark Eid, Ojelabi advised Muslims to always stand firm in defense of their beliefs and promises, noting this stood Prophet Ibrahim out as a righteous man.

    Ojelabi, who feted Muslim leaders in Lagos, advised them to always live peacefully with their fellow citizens so love and respect can triumph in the country.

    He said: “Your sacrifice should always be charity to the poor, good deeds and submission to Allah. It is my prayer that Allah will accept your Ibadah.

    “I use this moment to enjoin you to continue to be your brother’s keeper and promote unity always.

    The party chair admonished them to continue to live in harmony in fulfillment of Allah’s teachings and lessons of the Holy Prophet Muhammed. He appealed to them to remember the less privileged and the poor, and allow the fear of Allah to guide them in all their conducts.

    “I encourage you to devote more time to pray for Lagos, the country and our leaders at all levels, that God should lead them right in their service to the people.”

    Ojelabi sues for continuous prayer, commitment

    Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Cornelius Ojelabi, has admonished Muslims to sustain the faith exhibited during Ramadan beyond the Holy month.

    Ojelabi, who rejoiced with Muslims on completing the 30-day fasting and prayers, advised them not to go back to bad behaviour.

    In a statement yesterday, Ojelabi said: “I thank you because I have the assurance and belief as you were praying for one another, and for your families in during Ramadan, you were also praying for Lagos State and Nigeria, for God to continue to grant us mercies and blessings. May Allah accept our supplications and grant us peace and love.”

    He enjoined Muslims to live by the pious tenets and norms of Islam.

    Ojelabi urged them to always live show kindness, care for the aged and less-privileged, feed the poor, clothe the naked and share. According to him, keeping to these attributes will make the world a better place for all.

    He appealed to parents and guardians to uphold and discharge their responsibilities to their children and wards.

    Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Cornelius Ojelabi has admonished Lagosians to agree to make 2024 better than 2023.

    Ojelabi, in his New Year message, urged the people to ‘put ‘partisan politics that dotted 2023 behind us and forge ahead to continue to make our state the Centre of Excellence and, by extension, make Nigeria an excellent country by engaging in productive activities and actions’.

    He also promised that government will continue to serve better in 2024 and beyond.

    “The New Year will be of progressive hope and aspirations in the state and the country following the painstaking implementation of the THEMES Plus agenda of our state government and the RENEWED HOPE agenda of the Federal Government.

    “2023 has gone into history, and we give gratitude to God for making us witness the beginning of Year 2024 in God health of mind and body. May He lead us through this New Year with His divine favour and grace.

    “My dear Lagosians, let’s agree to make this year better than 2023. Our amiable Governor Sanwo-Olu and his team are ready to make the New Year a glorious one for us through superlative performance. It is only left for you and I to cooperate with them in making life better for us.

    “Our party will not disappoint you but will improve on its performance index by providing more dividends of democracy in all sectors of the economy. I implore you to continue to be law abiding citizens and embrace peaceful coexistence, it is under an atmosphere of peace that love, justice and development can be achieved.

    ‘May this year usher in for us abundant blessings of God, better economic realities, and the other good things of life,” Ojelabi added.
