A Non-governmental Organisation (NGO), Olamide Junaid Foundation, has extended helping hand to widows, the poor and less privileged in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital
The foundation distributed food palliatives to over 200 households in the city to alleviate suffering of vulnerable individuals and families in the city.
Speaking while handling over the items to beneficiaries, the founder of the foundation, Dr. Olamide Junaid, said the palliatives included rice, beans and other essential food items.
According to her, the initiative was part of the organisation’s mission towards supporting the less privileged and make positive impact in the society.
She explained that the foundation has been working tirelessly to identify those in need so as to provide assistance to them.
She said: “We believe that everyone deserves a chance to live good life, we are committed to making that a reality. The distribution of palliatives is the latest in a series of initiatives by our foundation aimed at supporting the poor and vulnerable in Ibadan.
“The organization will also provided scholarships, healthcare services, and skills training for numerous individuals and families in the city.
“I love seeing people living in abundance, I think now that I’m okay to some extent, I feel people also need to felt my impact.
“Our Foundation is unique because we don’t just based in Nigeria alone, it’s is a West Africa Foundation, everybody have chance of benefiting from our foundation.”
She appealed to well meaning Nigerians and organizations to also give back to the society so as to make greater impact.

She however said selfless efforts of the foundation have brought hope and joy to many in Ibadan, saying its work is an example of of kindness and generosity.
Some beneficiaries at the event expressed gratitude and joy as they received the items, praising the foundation for its kindness and generosity because the palliatives came at a time when they needed it most.
The foundation’s efforts have been widely praised by community leaders and residents, who appreciate its dedication to making positive difference.
