    Olorunnimbe’s chieftaincy title excites The Temple Company

    The staff and management of The Temple Company are in a bright, merry, and happy mood following the announcement of a chieftaincy title to be conferred on the founder and Chief Executive, Idris Olorunnimbe.

    Olorunnimbe is set to be conferred with the title of Asoju Oba of Iru Kingdom.

    Earlier in the week, the Oniru of Iru-land, His Royal Majesty Oba Abdul-Wasiu Omogbolahan Lawal CON [Abisogun II], announced the conferment of a chieftaincy title on Olorunnimbe.

    In the official letter of nomination signed by Hakeem Akintoye, Private Secretary to His Royal Majesty, the palace noted that “the honour is the culmination of a rigorous selection process predicated on your remarkable accomplishment, personal distinction and exemplary service to the community.”

    The ceremony, according to a Palace statement, will take place at the palace on June 14 as part of the celebrations marking the monarch’s fifth anniversary and peaceful reign.

    Olorunnimbe is among seven distinguished personalities selected for their exemplary service to humanity and professional excellence.

    Responding to the announcement, Olorunnimbe expressed his gratitude: “I am deeply honoured by this recognition and remain grateful to His Royal Majesty and the Oniru-in-Council for finding me worthy of such a prestigious title. This honour not only represents a personal milestone but also serves as a reminder of my continued commitment to the development and welfare of our community.”

    The Oniru of Iru-land, Oba Abdul-Wasiu Lawal CON (Abisogun II), has conferred honorary chieftaincy titles on some distinguished Nigerians, including Chief Executive of Temple Company, Idris Olorunnimbe.

    The monarch announced the titles as part of activities to mark his fifth anniversary on the throne.

    Olorunnimbe was honoured with the Asoju Oba of Iru Kingdom.

    Chief Abayomi Daramola, congratulating the new chiefs in a statement, said the official conferment ceremonies would hold on June 14 at the Oniru Palace on Victoria Island.

    The statement said: “To mark the fifth year of his ascension as the 15th Oniru of Iru-land, Oba Lawal has issued a Royal Decree approving the conferment of honorary chieftaincy titles on the underlisted eminent and distinguished citizens.”

    Idris Olorunnimbe is a good-humoured man striving to achieve greatness but comes across to many as a snob, maybe because of his ambitions and visions.

    Currently, Olorunnimbe is on top of the world as you read this. The reason for his joy, which knows no bounds, is the eighth anniversary of the Temple Group, a conglomerate he founded in 2016.

    Widely referred to as Idriza, Olorunnimbe, who serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Temple Company and Ogidi Studios recently rolled out drums to celebrate the occasion with several dignitaries in attendance.

    Spotted at the event include government dignitaries and celebrities like Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, Obi Asika, and Bisola Aiyeola.

    Idiriza took the opportunity to open up on the journey, which he referred to as nothing short of an odyssey.

    He noted that from the initial vision that sparked the birth of Temple to the countless hurdles his team has overcome, it’s been an adventure filled with trials, triumphs, and invaluable lessons.

    A few days after the anniversary, Lee Satterfield, an American diplomat who has served as Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs, also visited Idiriza and his team at Ogidi Studios saying, “Ogidi Studios is a testament to the power of music diplomacy. This creative hub brings together artists from the US and Nigeria, fostering cultural exchange and collaboration. By supporting Nigeria’s music industry, we’re strengthening the bonds between our people.”
