    OneCard, IBEDC partner on recharge card

    OneCard Nigeria has introduced Ibadan Electricity (IBEDC) to its multi-purpose recharge card.

    The One1Card now makes it easier for IBEDC consumers to recharge their pre-paid or post paid meters conveniently from their mobile phone by simply dialling the string *979*14*PIN*Acc number or Meter Number#.

    Chairman  OneCard Nigeria, Mr Tunde Odulaja, said when the company launched its multi-purpose recharge card, it was with a promise that more and more services will be added to the One1Card to create a one-stop recharge solution. The addition of this new service he said is a fulfilment of that promise even as the company continues in its stride to make top up of various services easier. ‘’The hassle of travelling long distances, joining long queues, following cumbersome processes to top up various services is removed for all Nigerians by this singular card; One1Card,’’ he said.

    Mr Femi Muka, General Manager OneCard Nigeria, also speaking on the new IBEDC service explained that IBEDC customers are also at liberty to Top Up their accounts/meters via OneCard Online Channels; MyTopUp Business and MyTopUp Nigeria or via OneCard Direct TopUp devices available at TopUp points. He said because OneCard’s services are about people and meeting their needs, the company provides multiple choices and everyone is at liberty to choose based on their needs and preferences.

  • OneCard, SPAR Park n Shop partner

    Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) company that provides top up solutions on multiple platforms, OneCard Nigeria, has announced its partnership with SPAR; the largest chain of hypermarket stores in Nigeria. The partnership introduces the sale of airtime in all SPAR Park n Shop outlets across the country.

    Shoppers can now purchase airtime of all the major networks in the country; Airtel, Etisalat, Glo, MTN, Visafone and Multi-links right from the stores. They can choose any amount they desire; from as low as N10 to N50, 000. Additionally,’ change’ to settle bills will not be a challenge, as shoppers will have opportunity of settling the change issue with airtime.

    Speaking on the partnership, the General Manager, OneCard Nigeria, Femi Muka,  said, it is firm’s desire to constantly raise the bar in provision of easy and convenient top up solutions to all Nigerians while also ensuring that the solutions are easily accessible. He expressed OneCard’s delight in the partnership with SPAR who has for several decades provided Nigerians a first class shopping experience. He, therefore, employed all Nigerians to enjoy the SPAR experience.

    Also speaking on the partnership, Mr John Goldsmith of SPAR said the firm is committed to providing Nigerians with an ever growing range of high quality consumer goods that meet their daily needs, bundled with world class shopping experience. He therefore expressed his delight in the partnership with OneCard as it offers shoppers a stress-free alternative to topping up airtime right from the store. New SPAR stores are lined for launch across Nigeria, among which are the MM2 and Ilupeju stores which will be the first ones to start. SPAR looks forward to offering airtime top up services to its customers at their new stores from the very first day of operation.

  • OneCard, LCC partner

    A frim that provides top up solutions on multiple platforms, OneCard Nigeria, has signed a service agreement with Lekki Concession Company (LCC).

    By this agreement, motorists registered with LCC’s eTag electronic toll collection device can now top up their toll account through any of the three channels of the firm, namely MyTopUp Nigeria, MyTopUp Business and Direct TopUp.

    MyTopUp Nigeria is a secure web (internet) platform, which is designed to enable top-up of all prepaid accounts at once using debit or credit cards.

    MyTopUp Business is a robust service designed for corporate customers that allows them to top-up bulk accounts simultaneously in a quick and secure manner.

    The third service, Direct TopUp, is designed for retailers and it involves the use of branded mobile agents whose responsibility it will be to assist new and existing eTag customers to top up their toll accounts.

    Its Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Ahmad Baba, said the partnership with LCC was another demonstration of ‘the fact that his company was innovating in a meaningful way.

  • OneCard appoints COO

    Fast-moving consumer goods company, OneCard TopUp Services Limited, has appointed Mr Ali Kajubi its Chief Operations Officer (COO).

    Kajubi had worked with MTN Uganda in various capacities, such as Services Manager, Senior IS Specialist and Business Process Administrator. His competences include IT service management, service level management, aligning IT to business strategy and accounts management.

    Trained in Information Technology and Finance, the new COO brings his vast experiences to bear in the operations of OneCard.

    Kajubi’s experiences in managing and strategically supporting IT infrastructure and service provision to customer requirements will be valuable in providing customer centric top-up services by OneCard Nigeria.

    The Company Secretary Ade Oyebanji said Kajubi was chosen because of his knowledge and experience in relevant areas that would “positively impact the growth of the company”.

    On Kajubi’s appointment, the company’s Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Baba said: “OneCard will always deploy all resources required to provide efficient and reliable top-up solutions to customers across the country.”
