    Ecobank partners OPM free school for autism and down syndrome in P’Harcourt

    Ecobank group has partnered with OPM free school for children Born with autism and down syndrome in the areas of teaching and learning aids to mark their 40th anniversary which took place last month.

    The Divisional Head South South/South East of Ecobank, Kingsley Okhae explained that they were in Port Harcourt to identify and partner with only free school for autism and down syndrome in Africa.

    He noted that Ecobank deliberately chose OPM free school for autism and Down syndrome as part of their corporate social responsibility.

    According to Okhae, there are four divisions, FCT and North, South South, South East and Southwest.

    He said: “In all these, knowing your relationship with us and what you have done, we collectively agreed that there is no other person to partner with than OPM free school for autism and Down syndrome”.  

    Okhae thanked His Royal Majesty King Apostle Dr Chibuzor Gift Chinyere for his robust vision which has provided direction, hope and succor to the less privileged.

    He assured of Ecobank Management continued partnership in the areas of projects to strengthen his relationship with the Bank.

    “We will continue to ask for more things from management to assist and partner with you in your projects knowing that you have a relationship with us. Your Majesty, you deserves more” he said.

    In his response, King Chinyere appreciated the management of Ecobank for remembering to Partner with OPM free school for autism and Down syndrome.

    He reminded Ecobank delegation that the school is completely free noting that all his Humanitarian activities, From 39 free schools, two free hospitals, 18 free estates, free skills acquisition center and about 10,000 Local and overseas scholarships are all targeted at the poor and less privileged.

    “I really appreciate this partnership. May God continue to bless Ecobank for remembering this school. This school is 100% free”

    “All OPM 39 free schools, two free specialist hospitals, 18 free Estates, free skills acquisition center, Free all girls technical college and local and overseas scholarships are for the less privileged ” adding that when you touch the less privileged, you make God happy.

    “We have the plan of building free hospitals, free schools, free estates, free skills acquisition center in all the states in Nigeria. We are ready to invite interested partners on a facility tour to see things for themselves” he said.

    The Director of Welfare, OPM Worldwide, Dr. Mrs Maurine Chukwu thanked the management of Ecobank and called on other banks, NGOs, government and donor agencies to partner with OPM foundation to enable them build more projects for the benefit of the less privileged in Nigeria.

    Other dignitaries include Mrs. Forun Rukayat , Regional Manager South South/South East of Ecobank, Mr Ayoade Afolabi, Lateef Musa, Mr Malachi Ebebi , Chairman OPM men president among others.

    Apostle Chinyere donates bicycles to Down Syndrome children in OPM free school

    The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries who is also a first-class king, His Royal Majesty Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, Ihie 1 of Ikwuorie Autonomous community celebrates Down syndrome children from OPM free school for Autism and Down syndrome. The celebration took place on Thursday at his private residence to Mark world Down syndrome day 2024.World Down Syndrome Day falls annually on 21 March. This year 2024 the theme is ‘End the Stereotypes’.

    The day is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting understanding of Down Syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication and social interaction.

    During the celebration, His Royal Majesty took time to donate bicycles to all the Down syndrome children in OPM free school for children Born with Autism and Down syndrome while various gifts were distributed to them together with food and drinks.  Recently, God’s Servant distributed bags of rice and other food items together with an undisclosed amount of money to each Autistic and Down syndrome children in OPM free school to enable them feeds adequately. 

    According to the man of God ” The donation of bicycles will enable them to have regular exercise from time to time ” adding that Down syndrome children should be shown love and Care.

    He said that celebrating them and showing them love makes them feel belonged and happy.

    His Royal Majesty King Apostle Dr Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has done his modest best to provide quality free education to the Down Syndrome children in Nigeria.

    His Down Syndrome free school initiatives have put the Down Syndrome children in the part of progress as so many of them can do what they have never done before.

    Down Syndrome is a common condition, affecting an estimated 6 million people worldwide. Although there is no cure for Down Syndrome, it can be treated with the help of supportive care and proper lifestyle which the man of God has been providing for them including a good learning and conducive environment.

    People with Down Syndrome can live long and fulfilling lives if properly taken care of.

    Some people see Down Syndrome children as an outcast. Some parents ignore them. Some are faced with rejection and all kinds of abuse. Some parents believe it is a waste of time and resources to send them to school.

    His Royal Majesty Apostle Chibuzor places special recognition on Down Syndrome children in Nigeria. This is evident in the special professional teachers he employed to put them on the right part. His Majesty has shown Down Syndrome children so much love and care which some of their parents could not give to  them. In every part of the world including Nigeria, Down Syndrome school is  very expensive but the man of God built state of the art free school for children Born with Down Syndrome in Nigeria.

    World Down Syndrome Day provides an opportunity to create a single, global voice against the stereotypes and discrimination associated with Down syndrome. It also aims to highlight the beauty and uniqueness of people with this condition, and to encourage them to feel supported and valued.

    Recall that OPM free school for autism and Down Syndrome started three years ago with the provision of free school uniforms, footwears, school bags and back-to-school supplies, just the way the man of God distributes freely to children in 34  regular OPM free  schools.
