The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has arrested four suspects for lynching Alhaji Tijani Yakubu of Kabusa village, over accusation of stealing a male organ.
The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Haruna Garba, parading the suspects yesterday, said their arrest followed a distress call on October 15, 2023 that Yakubu was being lynched by youths on allegation of causing the disappearance of a male organ of Emmanuel Danladi.
He said police operatives from Kabusa Division swung into action and rescued the injured victim.

“The suspect and the victim were subsequently taken to hospital for medical attention and examination. Unfortunately, Yakubu was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.”
The commissioner said on October 22, the police received another distress call that Mathew Michael aka (Stress D) was about to be lynched by a mob at Apo Primary School, and operatives from Apo Division mobilised to the scene and rescued him.
