    I’m an indigenous storyteller – Osarobo

    Performing artiste and songwriter, Lucky Uyi Osarobo, aka Luckey Jay, has described himself as an indigenous storyteller.

    “I am mostly influenced by the things around him, the environment, people’s stories and even my own stories. It is evident in my music that I’m an indigenous storyteller”, he said in an interesting.

    The singer hails from Edo state, was born on June 25.

    Luckey Jay, also a philanthropist/entrepreneur, moved with his mother to Lagos where he attended United Secondary School in Ikorodu, lagos. 

    He discovered his music talent at the age of 10 and has made a wave across the globe. He is known for his creative art, consistency, and unique way of entertaining his fans/audience.

    Luckey Jay is a talented and dedicated musician whose work continues to captivate and inspire. His unique sound, combined with his genuine connection to his audience, makes him a standout artist in today’s music scene.

    He started writing musical lyrics. He always set aside a new note at the beginning of every academic session where he would write music lyrics and write fictional stories. Luckey Jay grew up listening to fictional Yoruba stories from my mother and this always helped his imagination to compose stories and even write lyrics. 

    Regardless of how interested he was in music, Luckey Jay explained that he was too shy to listen to his voice coming from speakers because he was a kid who grew up with a voice sounding older than his look. 

    He kept on writing music lyrics and he summoned up the courage to record his first song in 2023 tittled ‘Comfort’
