    Osas targets ABS for goals

Heartland striker, Jolly Osas has promised to make amends in his side’s game at ABS tomorrow.

The Naze Millionaires will be the guests of ABS in this weekend’s Glo Premier League Matchday 33 tie at the Kwara State Stadium, llorin.

The petite forward headed wide a well-laid pass in the box by striker Abdul Haruna in the 1-1 draw against 3SC in added time of Wednesday’s Matchday 32 encounter at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

Osas said he will make up for the sour but regrettable miss against 3SC in the match at ABS in llorin.

“I’m yet to wake up to the reality that I actually missed the chance to score in an almost open net that would have secured three points for my side against 3SC.

“I can’t still explain what went amiss but I’ve decided to see the incident as one of those strange things that happen in football. Right now I can’t undo what has been done but I can only make amends and compensate for the missed goal.

“So I’ve decided to make the side and supporters proud by going all out not only to score but ensure we grab three points at ABS. I’m being seen as the one that denied my side three points, that’s why I’ve taken it upon myself to correct the mistake so I’ll surely score in llorin at ABS,” said the goal poacher to supersport.com.

Osas is unsure whether the side’s target to finish among the best three will still be a reality.

“The points we dropped in the game against 3SC will surely hurt us but we won’t give us the battle until the last game,” he said.

Heartland are ninth on the log on 45 points from a possible 96.
