Ososa Traditional Council and Odogbolu Local Government of Ogun State have said the ongoing second Ososa Day wull end on December 2, with its theme: ‘Create Hope… in Yourself, Community and World’.
The Gbegande of Ososa, Oba Mojeed Alatise, said the success of the first edition and accompanying positive outcomes were a testament that ‘Ososa Omooroyo Day’ had come to stay.
The monarch, addressing reporters after a news briefing heralding the 2024 edition, hailed the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Chief Abayomi Adewunmi, and his commitment towards placing Omooroyo Ososa on the world tourism calendar.

He reaffirmed his commitment to preserving the cultural heritage and tradition of Ososa kingdom.
Adewunmi, who hailed success of the 2023 edition, said the funds raised during the event were spent on boreholes and other public utilities.
Vice Chair of the committee, Adeniyi Adeneye, said activities for this year’s festival, included medical outreach/health talk, inter club football competition, Ososa beauty pageant, inter school debates, Ikokore night, among others
Secretary General of the committee, Ayodele Idowu, said he was glad because ‘’Omooroyo Day celebration is a new era of cultural revival.’’
