    APC Chairman’s Cup unveiled in Lagos

    In line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, has unveiled  APC Lagos State Chairman’s Cup.

    He said it was meant for community development across the state and to showcase grassroots talent.

    The programme was done amid  enthusiasm at the APC Lagos State chapter secretariat on Acme Road, Ikeja.

    Ojelabi said: “Today marks a unique and historic moment in sports history of Lagos State. All hands must be on deck for social development and democratic values in the state.’’

    The event was witnessed by Lagos State stakeholders, including Lagos State Conference 57 executives. Speaking on behalf of the executives, Abdullahi Olowa, Lagos State Conference 57 chairman, who is also APC Lagos State Chairman’s Cup L.O.C. chairman, said youth engagement was paramount to the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration.

     ‘’Our party, APC, will continue to demonstrate good leadership at the grassroots and mobilise young people into its fold.’’

    The Secretary of the ruling party in Lagos State, Dr. Adeola Jokomba, said the project was more than just a sporting event that would take place in the 57 councils.

     ‘’It is a platform that will engage five million Lagosians, ensuring PVC registration, inclusiveness and youth empowerment across Lagos State, with the promise of identifying future stars from the grassroots and engaging them for future elections,’’ he said.

    All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, has extended warm felicitations to the Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, as he marks another year of purposeful life and impactful service.

    Lagos APC chair seeks unity among members

    The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, has urged members to unite, to enable the party win the coming local government election.

    He spoke during the victory celebration and thank you visit, organised by the Coordinator of Badagry Independent Campaign Council (ICC), Mr Ibrahim Layode, who is also Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture.

    Ojelabi said with the banning of Mandate and Justice Forum by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, members should be united to work for the progress of the party.

    He urged members who had not registered to collect voter cards during the coming Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) registration.

    Ojelabi assured members that the party would create a level playing field for them during the council election.

    He hailed members who contributed to the success of the party in the 2023 general election.

    Layode said the event was to celebrate the work done by APC members and ICC in the 2023 general election.

    Mr Bonu Solomon, the lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency in the House of Assembly, urged ICC members to build synergy and unity among themselves, to ensure success in  the forthcoming poll.

    Mr Emmanuel Kappo, secretary, ICC, advised APC members in Badagry to unite so that they can enjoy the dividends of democracy.
