The pitch was alive, the stands were electric, and the dreams of young footballers came to life last Sunday  as the 4th  Edition of the Pastor Umo Eno Easter U-16 Arise Cup was concluded in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State’s capital.

In a tournament that brought together budding talents from across Akwa Ibom and Abia States, it was Pillars Sports FC of Uruan who rose tallest, lifting the coveted trophy after a pulsating final against Redemption FC of Nsit Ibom.

The champions from Uruan proved themselves worthy of every cheer, displaying discipline, tactical brilliance, and team spirit that belied their young age. Their victory is not just a win for Uruan, but a bold testament to what Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda stands for—empowering the youth, investing in talent, and building the future from the grassroots.

Redemption FC of Nsit Ibom, who battled valiantly to the end, walked away as proud runners-up, their journey marked by grit, flair, and sportsmanship. Though the final whistle did not blow in their favour, their display throughout the tournament was nothing short of redemptive.
