Bulboe Family with Engraced Entertainment will hold the third Patriot Presidential Awards, an event promoting patriotism.
The event will hold on April 28 at Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub and celebrates leadership and constructive followership, setting a model for governance with patriotism as theme.
Convener, Endurance Osabohien of Bulboe family said: “The Patriots, also known as Patriots Gala, is an annual ceremony to motivate youths to be patriotic. It aims to honour youths who have demonstrated dedication to Nigeria.
Chief Executive Officer of Engraced Entertainment, Emmanuel Itoto, said the event recognises leaders as well as attentive and engaged followers, noting it sets a model for effective governance.
Osabohien noted by focusing on mobilising youths, it utilises creativity through theatrical production and exhibitions as means of expression.
He said the organisation partnered Engraced Company to ensure excellent outing, to position the event as top-rate dedicated to recognising and celebrating excellence.

“Three distinct award categories have been established. They include a category for artists. The presidential category targets personalities dedicated to nation-building. This initiative ensures a secure path in the globalisation endeavour as the world moves toward a global village. This way, it breathes life into the national anthem’s stanza that says, “the labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain.”
He added: “Nigeria, with almost 200 million people, boasts over 250 ethnic groups and 500 languages. Despite this rich human and natural resources, the country underperforms in maximising its resources. This is due to failure to engage youths. Consequently, they do not desire to be associated with the brand ‘Nigeria,’ making it challenging to secure commitment from such a population in the absence of patriotism and nationalism…’’
“Against this backdrop, previous government initiatives, such as MAMSER (1980s) and Rebranding Nigeria (2000s), aimed to kindle a renewed spirit of social commitment and patriotism among the citizenry. Unfortunately, these programs were largely unsuccessful because they did not adequately address the core motivations of the youths, who constitute the most crucial segment of the population for achieving development goals.
“Recognizing the need for youth re-orientation as a crucial quest for national development, Project PATRIOTS GALA is specifically designed to tackle these issues through innovative and entertaining communicative-based strategies. It addresses the reasons why many Nigerian youths do not patronize and are unwilling to make sacrifices for Nigeria.”
