JUST IN: PDP secures court order to proceed with national convention

An Oyo State High Court 5 sitting in Ibadan, presided over by Justice Ladiran Akintola has directed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to go ahead with the party’s national convention scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan.

The court granted the order after an ex parte application filed by PDP chieftain Folahan Malomo Adelabi who sued as the claimant/applicant in suit number I/1336/2025.

Adelabi’s application sought to ensure the party adheres to its guidelines, timetable, and schedule of activities for the convention.

The PDP, its Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum (for himself and members of the party’s National Working Committee and National Executive Committee), the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (for himself and members of the National Convention Organising Committee), and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are the defendants in the case.

Adelabi asked the court for an interim injunction to restrain the defendants from “truncating, frustrating, the Guidelines, Timetable and Schedule of Activity and/or disrupting, preventing and or stopping the conduct of the Scheduled National Convention of the Peoples Democractic Party (PDP) fixed for the 15th and 16th November, 2025 at Ibadan to elect officers of the said party at national pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice”.

The applicant also sought an order directing PDP, Damagum, Fintiri to “adhere to and honour the provisions of the aforesaid Guidelines, timetable and Schedule of Activities for the conduct of the National Convention pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice”.

The court also directed the PDP leadership to adhere strictly to the guidelines, timetable, and schedule of activities earlier released for the convention.

Furthermore, the court ordered the party and its relevant committees to hold, conduct, and convene the elective national convention as planned in Ibadan, pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.

The Judge also directed INEC to attend, monitor, and observe the conduct of the convention in line with the Electoral Act.

Justice Akintola stated that the claimant had established a case warranting urgent judicial intervention and commended the claimant’s demonstration of transparency by filing a motion on notice for interlocutory injunction alongside the ex parte application.

The matter has been adjourned till November 10, 2025, for the hearing of the motion on notice.

The certified true copy of the enrolment of order was signed by the Principal Registrar of the Oyo State High Court, Mrs. S. O. Hammed, and issued at Ibadan under the seal of the court on November 3, 2025.

This ruling paves the way for the PDP to hold its national convention as planned, despite internal disputes and conflicting court orders.

The convention aims to elect new national officers and resolve key zoning and internal issues ahead of the 2027 general elections.

    • Shettima, Akpabio, Yilwatda, governors receive defectors to ruling party

Douye Diri made a triumphant entry into the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday, becoming the fourth governor this year to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into the ruling party.

Those who defected before him are: Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno and Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah.

The Bayelsa State governor along with his Executive Council members, state lawmakers and other leaders were received into the ruling party before a huge crowd at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.

Vice President Kashim Shettima led the high-profile reception party.

Diri said he tried his best to rescue the PDP but failed because the party had been taken over by those he described as “undertakers”.

He then stated the clincher: “We tried to salvage it (PDP), but to no avail. I never wanted my state to be buried with the PDP”.

Bayelsa, like Delta, Akwa Ibom, and Enugu were states governed by the PDP since 1999 before the governors defected with all the party structures.

Giving other reasons he moved to the ruling party, Diri said he was motivated by the need to align Bayelsa with a national leadership that values development.

He said he was influenced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s love for the growth of the state and the Ijaw nation.

He cited the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, the second phase of the Nembe-Brass road and a N4billion tax waiver granted the state for the procurement of a 60 megawatt gas turbine.

”I consulted with elders and the State Assembly and afterwards resigned from the PDP for obvious reasons. This defection is not only for Bayelsa. It is for Ijaws in Ondo, Edo, Delta and Rivers.

“I will not denigrate my former party. We were happy with it until some undertakers destroyed it.

“What was going on became incumbent on me to make a decision, and the majority of the state House of Assembly, including the Speaker, have come with me to the APC.”

Diri was chairman of the PDP committee that decided on the zoning of offices ahead of its now botched national convention.

He resigned from the party on October 15.

Two of the state’s current senators, Konbowei Benson and Benson Agadaga, as well as former Senator Ben Bruce and the Speaker, Abraham Ingobere, were also received into the APC at the ceremony.

But Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo and the immediate past governor, Senator Seriake Dickson, declined to join Diri into the APC.

The Deputy Governor has filed a suit at the Federal High Court in Abuja, seeking to prevent the House of Assembly from initiating impeachment proceedings against him.

APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yiltwada presented the APC flag, muffler and broom to Diri, saying: “Today you take over as the leader of our party in the state. Welcome, our leader in Bayelsa.

“With this flag, we want you to sweep out PDP and sweep all the votes to APC in 2027. We must have 100 per cent votes in Bayelsa.

“Take this as a symbol of strength and authority and make it stronger. We hang this flag for you as a symbol of ownership.

“You are fully decorated, and may God give you the strength to work till 2027 and deliver President Tinubu.”

Prof. Yilwatda thanked Bayelsans for taking the right decision, stressing that the Ijaw nation has spoken in one voice through the governor.

Welcoming Diri, Shettima described the move as a “homecoming” and a defining moment for national unity and political integration.

He said: “Today, you have shown us that Bayelsa has chosen the light of national integration over the shadows of political isolation.

“The APC is the party of those who believe that progress can only be guaranteed when we stand together, when we answer the call of the people.

“Your story mirrors that of your people. You have led with calm and dignity. But beneath that calm has flowed a restless commitment to development, to unity, and to peace.

“You have expanded roads to remote communities and assured them that they are not forgotten.

“You have built bridges where there were barriers. You have lit homes where there was darkness. This is what it means to govern with empathy.

“We welcome you into this fold to watch and support you as you champion what you have always done.”

Shettima, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, hailed the governor’s defection as an act of conviction and courage.

He added: “Your Excellency, Governor Diri, this gathering is a homecoming party for you.

“We are here not for a ceremony of convenience but for a celebration of your conviction. Yours is the story of a leader who has chosen the harder right over the easier wrong.”

Shettima said while President Tinubu has demonstrated repeatedly that politics is not war but the “art of building bridges across rivers of difference,” Diri has shown a profound understanding of that metaphor.

The Vice President described Diri as “a son of the creeks who has built literal and political bridges across the waters of the Niger Delta.”

According to him, Diri’s defection was “a political reunion with a progressive mind whose ideals have always aligned with the philosophy” of the governing party.

“We are not a house of strangers; we are a family bound by the shared belief that Nigeria can, and must, work for all her citizens.

“And we know you, Your Excellency. We know you as a builder — a builder of infrastructure, a builder of peace, a builder of trust, a builder of the Bayelsa dream,” he added.

Shettima assured the governor that he would not be judged by where he was coming from but by where he is going.

He noted that Diri’s arrival in the APC “is not the depletion of the opposition” but the “confirmation of the pulse and constitutional clarity of Africa’s largest democracy—the freedom of choice.”

Akpabio said the party was happy to receive Diri, as demonstrated by the large turnout.

He commended the governor for steering the state on the path of peace and congratulated him for taking the bold step of aligning with the party at the centre.

Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, said the Bayelsa governor has taken a progressive step by embracing the renewed hope agenda.

Also present were the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, Governors Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Ahmed Ododo (Kogi), and Monday Okpebolo (Edo).

‎‎Others were Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Peter Mba (Enugu), former Edo governor, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, as well as Minister of Regional Development Abubakar Momoh,

Also there were Minister of State for Petroleum (Oil) Senator Heineken Lokpobiri; Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, and Director of Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority, Chief Ebitimi Amgbare, all from the states.

    • Police order staff members out, shut party secretariat gate

In another twist to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) crisis, Vice Chairman (Northcentral) Abdulrahman Mohammed, accompanied by supporters, yesterday swept into the Wadata Plaza National Secretariat and moved into the National Chairman’s office.

He was proclaimed acting National Chairman by a faction on Friday following the suspension and counter-suspension by National Working Committee (NWC) member.

Mohammed belongs to the National Secretary’s faction in the Samuel Anyanwu versus National Chairman Iliya Damagum’s face-off.

The face-off was escalated after Friday’s judgment by Justice James Omotoso of the Federal High Court which invalidated the November 15-16 National Convention of the party and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to recognise the convention if held.

The take-over was not without a drama as some national secretariat staff members loyal to Damagum, who was not in office yesterday, attempted to forcibly remove Anyanwu from the Secretariat.

The Police moved in and  calmed the situation before eventually ordering all staff members and visitors out of the secretariat after which the main gate was shut.

On arrival, Mohammed was received by Anyanwu, who conducted him round the offices in the secretariat.

However, a group within the party, the ‘PDP Patriots,’ flayed Mohammed and pledged its support and loyalty to the Damagum camp.

Led by the former Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Dr. Mike Omeri, they said it was curious that Mohammed who was suspended turned around to proclaim himself as national chairman.

There were speculations that Damagun, who was suspended by the Anyanwu faction, earlier met his faction of the NWC.

Mohammed said: “Today is another good day for the PDP family across Nigeria. You can see that everyone is happy to have a new leadership in the PDP. I am here as the Acting National Chairman of our great party, and by the grace of God, under my leadership, I will do everything possible to bring everyone together under one umbrella.

“PDP is beyond one individual. We will work as a team to ensure a smooth process that will lead to a successful outing in 2027.”

He pledged to engage stakeholders across the country to heal divisions within the party and restore the confidence of members and supporters.

Mohammed added: “We will liaise with everyone, hear from them, and receive their guidance to make PDP one united family again. By the grace of God, we will sustain our slogan — power to the people — because power belongs to the people. We are confident that we will reclaim power in 2027.”

On how the party plans to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), despite the internal crises, Mohammed said his faction would be guided by the party’s constitution.

He said: “We are assuring Nigerians that by 2027, power will return to the PDP. We are currently reviewing our constitution to ensure that all organs of the party function effectively. We will normalize structures across the 36 states and the FCT to guarantee a smooth internal process.”

Mohammed expressed optimism that his leadership would mark a turning point, saying: “We are determined to rebuild the PDP as a credible opposition. We will not allow internal conflicts to distract us from our goal of reclaiming power and delivering better governance to Nigerians.”

    ‘BoT should intervene in crisis’

The ‘PDP Patriots,’ which reiterated its support for Damagum, urged the Board of Trustees (BoT) to urgently find a lasting solution to the crisis.

Omeri told reporters in Abuja that as the custodians and conscience of the party, the BoT should, as a matter of urgency, intervene and restore order.

He said: “We wish to unequivocally dissociate ourselves from the so-called suspended members of the party who inadvertently claimed to be acting National Chairman of the party.”

“This was done without consultation, and the defendants in the case unashamedly converted themselves to plaintiffs in a case they sought to prosecute in the interest of members of the party nationwide. In addition, they invaded the party headquarters, promoting thuggery and attempting to take over the party unlawfully.

“In this regard, we call on members of the PDP Board of Trustees, who are the custodians and conscience of the party, to, as a matter of urgency, step in and find a lasting and remedial solution to the current affairs of the party.”

PDP factional chairman Mohammed takes over secretariat

In a dramatic turn of events, the Acting Chairman of the Senator Samuel Anyanwu-led faction of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Abdulrahman Mohammed, on Monday stormed the National Secretariat of the party to assume leadership.

Mohammed took over the affairs of the party amidst tight security. He was received by the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu.

There was tension at the secretariat when a group of staff members, reportedly aided by external forces, attempted to forcibly evict Senator Anyanwu from his office on the third floor.

The Nation gathered the group tried to break into the National Secretary’s office but met stiff resistance from policemen stationed at the secretariat, who fired tear gas and used minimal force to disperse them.

To prevent a total breakdown of law and order, security operatives subsequently ordered all staff, journalists and visitors to vacate the premises before locking the main entrance.

There were speculations the Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagun, who was suspended by the Anyanwu-faction was meeting with members of his National Working Committee (NWC).

But as of the time of this report, there was no information about the outcome of the meeting.

The crisis rocking the party peaked with the suspension of Senator Anyanwu by the Damagun-led NWC and a counter suspension of Damagun and others by the Anyanwu-led group.

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday ordered the suspension of the elective national Convention of the party.

Accompanied by supporters, Mohammed arrived at the Wadata national secretariat of the party around 11 am and proceeded to the office of the National Chairman, where he addressed journalists after being received by Anyanwu, declaring his mission was to restore unity within the opposition party and reposition it ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He was later taken round the secretariat by the embattled National Secretary before settling into the chairman’s office.

Addressing journalists, Mohammed said: “Today is another good day for the PDP family across Nigeria. You can see that everyone is happy to have a new leadership in the PDP. I am here as the Acting National Chairman of our great party, and by the grace of God, under my leadership, I will do everything possible to bring everyone together under one umbrella.

“PDP is beyond one individual. We will work as a team to ensure a smooth process that will lead to a successful outing in 2027 and pledged to engage stakeholders across the country to heal divisions within the party and restore the confidence of its members and supporters.

While responding to questions on how the party plans to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the midst of internal crises and pending congresses, Mohammed said his faction will be guided by the party’s constitution.

He said: “We are assuring Nigerians that by 2027, power will return to the PDP. We are currently reviewing our constitution to ensure that all organs of the party function effectively. We will normalize structures across the 36 states and the FCT to guarantee a smooth internal process.”

2026: Tension in Osun PDP ahead governorship primary election

There is uncertainty in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State as to whether Governor Ademola Adeleke will be nominated by the party, following the ongoing factional crisis rocking its national leadership ahead of the primary for the 2026 governorship election.

The Nation recalls that factions of the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesome Wike and Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde, who controls the National Chairman, Umar Damagun and Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, have been at loggerheads over the national convention.

The court has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to recognise the planned convention. Subsequently, the two factions suspended themselves from the party.

The development has raised concern for members of the PDP in Osun State because the state chapter of the party is loyal to the Damagun faction.

A leader of PDP in Osogbo, Mr Wale Adegbite, speaking with The Nation, said: “We are afraid that Adeleke may not be properly nominated during the governorship primary fixed for December because of this ongoing crisis that never ends.”

One of the party leaders, who pleaded for anonymity, said: “Adeleke belongs to the Makinde faction, which controls the chairman, but the Wike faction in the state may sponsor another candidate within the party, which may give our party a tough time as to the legitimacy of the 2026 PDP governorship ticket.”

PDP state Chairman, Sunday Bisi, however, assured citizens that the crisis would not affect the nomination and victory of Governor Adeleke in the 2026 governorship race.

He urged PDP members and supporters to remain calm and steadfast, saying: “The court decision in no way impedes the smooth running of the PDP’s administrative or political activities, either at the national or state level.

“I can assure our supporters that all ongoing political processes, including the nomination procedures for the governorship ticket in Osun State, remain fully on course,” he said.

    • Party may not survive, says Fayose

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) factions clashed yesterday over the “warning letters” by the camp of Ambassador Umar Damagum to two members of the National Working Committee (NWC), the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, and the National Organising Secretary, Capt. Umar Bature.

Reflecting on the polarisation, former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose said PDP is in a terminal coma without the hope of survival.

The two letters were sent to the party officers on September 30 by a section of the NWC advising them to halt their alleged anti-party activities.

The two officers were accused of indulging in activities that brought the party to public disrepute, hatred, and contempt in gross violation of the PDP constitution.

Other infractions listed include hobnobbing with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its government, disobedience and refusal to carry out lawful directives of the party and engaging in conduct that causes disaffection and disunity in various chapters.

Signatories to the letter include factional National Chairman Damagum, Chief Ali Odefa, whose claim to the position of the National Vice Chairman (Southeast) was invalidated by the Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday and Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, Zonal Caretaker Chairman (Southsouth), whose caretaker committee was dismissed by the same court which upheld the zonal congress that elected Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike’s loyalist, Chief Dan Orbih, as the Southsouth leader of the PDP.

Abdulrahman Mohammed, who was announced as chairman of the Wike/Anyanwu faction, also allegedly signed the letter.

However, Anyanwu and Bature dismissed the letters as an afterthought conjured to paint a false picture and justify the illogical and unworkable suspension.

“It is nonsense. Can anyone there dare give me a warning letter?” Anyanwu queried.

Also drawing attention to the party’s constitution, Bature said none of the purported signatories to the letter have any authority to write warning letters or suspend any member of the NWC.

He said: “Not at all. They just want to try to justify the nonsense they did. They don’t have any power to write such or to suspend anybody.”

PDP in terminal coma, says Fayose

Fayose, who addressed reporters in Ado-Ekiti, capital of Ekiti State, said that the party has lost its soul and direction, adding that its leaders are acting as “undertakers” presiding over its burial.

The former governor lamented that the PDP, which once ruled Nigeria for 16 years, has now become a shadow of itself due to internal crises, leadership failure, lack of ideological focus as well as selfish interest.

He said the party’s current political trajectory offers no glimmer of hope for revival in view of the collateral damage done on the platform by its leadership.

He said: “There is no hope of PDP coming back for now. Even the captains of the ship are jumping from one bed to another. Who will hold the party together? The current NWC are undertakers who have come to bury the PDP.  The governors are leaving, leaders are defecting. Where are the pillars holding the party?”

Fayose likened the party’s condition to that of a patient on life support, insisting that only radical surgical intervention could restore life back to the PDP and save it from total collapse.

He expressed doubt about any immediate recovery, saying the signs are not encouraging as those at the helm of affairs appear indifferent to the party’s worsening condition.

Fayose said: “The PDP is in comatose, under intensive life support. Until someone responds to treatment, you can’t say there’s hope. But as it is now, there’s no sign of life.”

The former governor explained that the suspension of Damagum and the entry of Alhaji Mohammed Abdurahman as the acting national chairman represent another phase in the PDP’s crisis, warning that unless the new leadership moves swiftly to reconcile warring factions, the party risks sliding into permanent irrelevance.

He accused Damagum of manipulating his way into office and running the party aground, describing his suspension as “long overdue and good riddance to bad rubbish”.

Fayose added: “Damagum caused so much confusion everywhere. He was incompetent and manipulated the process to become chairman. His suspension is in order, and I can assure you that he will go the way of Iyorchia Ayu.”

The former governor urged Abdurahman to unite the aggrieved members, conduct state congresses as ordered by the courts, and organise a national convention in complaince with the party’s constitution.

He stressed: “The party needs a leader who can reunite everybody at this particular time. You never can tell. You can find a doctor in Abdurahman, who is willing to turn the tables around for the party. But as it stands, the PDP is in terminal comatose without hope of survival.”

Fayose dismissed the ongoing blame game in the party, saying that the era of apportioning blames and trading accusations should give way to sincere efforts at rebuilding.

The ex-governor maintained that rather than apportioning blame, genuine and committed leaders of the PDP should focus their energy on reviving the party and restoring its lost glory.

He added: “The problem has gone beyond who caused it. Even our presidential and vice-presidential candidates in 2023 have left the party. Governors have left. What is left is the carcass of the body of a dead man.”

Nonsense warning letters conjured to try to justify nonsense – Anyanwu

A fresh dimension has been added to the power intrigues within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as new ‘warning letters’ surfaced on Sunday to justify the purported ‘suspension’ of some of members of its National Working Council (NWC).

The letters unveiled by pro-Damagum members of the party in Abuja on Sunday purportedly indicated that a warning letter was sent to the party’s National Secretary on September 30, 2025 while another one with same date was sent to the National Organising Secretary, Capt Umar Bature (rtd).

However, the two officials told The Nation that the letters were an afterthought merely conjured to paint a false picture and try to justify the illogical and unworkable suspension said to have been served on them.

“It is nonsense! Can anyone there dare give me a warning letter? Senator Anyanwu told The Nation.

Drawing attention to the party’s constitution, the PDP National Organizing Secretary, Umar Bature also told The Nation none of the purported signatories to the letter has any authority to write warning letters or suspend any member of the PDP National Working Committee.

“Not at all. They just want to try justify the nonsense they did.

“They don’t have any power to write such or to suspend anybody,” he stated.

Another curious angle to the letters is the name of Abdulrahman Mohammed whom the Wike/Anyanwu bloc announced as replacement for the National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Damagum, appears as one of the signatories to the September 30, 2025 ‘warning letters’.

Other signatories include Chief Ali Odefa whose claim to the position of National Vice Chairman (South East) was invalidated by the Federal High Court in Abuja last Friday as well as Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, Zonal Caretaker Chairman (South-South) whose caretaker committee was also dismissed by the same court which upheld the zonal congress that elected Wike loyalist, Chief Dan Orbih as Chairman of the PDP South-South zone.

Following the example of former Ekiti Governor, Ayodele Fayose, other party stakeholders loyal to Wike/Anyanwu have continued to congratulate the new leadership put in place to replace ‘suspended’ Ambassador Damagum and others.

Thrice-elected FCT Senator, Philip Aduda and former Benue Governor, Samuel Ortom were among those who congratulated the new party leadership and demanded better performance than what obtained under Damagum’s leadership.

Don’t sink with PDP, Senator Fadahunsi tells Osun political office holders

Senator Francis Fadahunsi (Osun East) has charged political office holders in the State and beyond not to sink with the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) amid its leadership crisis.

Fadahunsi, who joined the All Progressives Congress(APC) with two members of the Federal House of Representatives, Sanya Omirin and Taofeek Ajilesoro, from his district recently, also wooed his colleagues at the National Assembly to his new party.

Speaking with newsmen on Sunday in his hometown, Ilase-Ijesa, he commended the economic reforms of President Bola Tinubu, asserting that they are yielding results and every Nigerian are reaping the benefits.

He recalled: “When the President started his administration in 2023, some of us in opposition were against the reforms but they are all yielding today which made us join the APC.

“I am from a rural area and closer with the people in the grassroots, I have discussed with the President and he is ready to bring development to my constituency. I can assure you that from now on, you will begin to see development in Ife/Ijesa.

“The Federal Government will start rehabilitation of the Ibadan/Ile-Ife/Ilesa road and I can tell you that they will start from the Ilesa end.”

He added: “At first, some did not like the economic reforms of President Tinubu, but now that it is yielding results, we are all joining him to support it. I want to charge others in opposition to start supporting government policies so that development will come to the grassroots particularly in Ife/Ijesa. In the next year, we will have reasons to smile.”

“PDP has abandoned itself. Whosoever remain in PDP, I admonish them not to sink with that party. There is no hope in that party again. There is no road through PDP again, all political office holders who are in the party should not try by creating any way, I urge them all to leave that path and come to the party which have the agenda for development.”

PDP members have hijacked our party, APC forum allege

Aggrieved stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Akwa Ibom have alleged that all the party’s structures across the state have been hijacked by newcomers to the party.

The stalwarts under the aegis of Akwa Ibom APC Aborigines Forum, who said this in an open letter to President Bola Tinubu on Sunday, blamed the Senate President Godswill Akpabio for not rising up against the development.

The forum’s national coordinator, Chief Okon Essien and state secretary,  Ekemini Udo in the letter accused Governor Umo Eno of deliberately sidelining founding members of ths party.

According to the forum, Eno has set up a 33-member ‘war council’  made up of politicians who moved with him from Democratic Party(PDP) to the APC to execute his political agenda agenda of 2027.

The letter reads in parts: “Your Excellency, we, the Akwa Ibom APC Aborigines Forum, rise in protest and deep concern over the ongoing political subversion and infiltration of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Akwa Ibom State.
