    Peruzzi debunks rumour of writing one of Burna Boy’s hit song

    Singer and songwriter, Tobechukwu Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has denied claims of writing one of Burna Boy’s hit songs.

    Recall that the songwriter had boasted on his social media handle that he had written over 252 songs for the Nigerian music industry.

    Some of his followers on social media had claimed that Burna Boy’s hit song was written by Peruzzi and further slammed Burna Boy for allegedly using many songwriters while his fans hailed him for his lyrical prowess, referring to them as “lost children.”

    In response, he emphatically debunked the speculations.

    On his official X, he wrote: “Don’t give me credit for what I didn’t do.”

    Two men on Twitter have called out singer, Peruzzi and his senior colleague-cum-label boss, Don Jazzy, for their inclination to follow attractive women on Instagram.

    The first man started off by ‘raising the alarm’ over singer Peruzzi’s ‘work rate’ in following attractive ladies on Instagram.

    The man identified simply as Yemihazan expressed concern over the staggering number of comely ladies being followed by the 30BG front member.

    He claimed that for every fine girl’s handle he has come across on Instagram, one thing was evident, the fact that the person will have Peruzzi as her follower.

    He tweeted: “Any fine girl I see on IG, I must definitely see ‘followed by Peruzzi’ on their page. That guy work rate no be here.”

    While the comment has garnered varying reactions, one tweep, Big Ayo, used the opportunity to accuse Don Jazzy of the same thing.

    According to him, the Mavin boss is considered the sugar daddy of Lagos and follows half of the states ‘baddies’ (slay queens).

    He wrote: “Don Jazzy too….sugar daddy of Lagos. Following half of the Lagos baddies.”

    A supposed concerned fan of Peruzzi has managed to trigger a response from the singer against his boss and senior colleague, Davido.

    Following the death of Mohbad and emerging controversies about the incident, coupled with his strained relationship with his former label boss, Naira Marley after ditching his record label, Marlian Music, some netizens began to make insinuations about music labels being cult group.

    As the abovementioned discourse gain traction online, a fan identified as Manila expressed worry over Peruzzi’s welfare and career as regards his record label, DMW owned by Afrobeats maestro, Davido.

    Manila wondered why Mayorkun, a former signee of the Davido Music World exited the label while urging Peruzzi to speak up against any form of cruelty he may be enduring before it’s too late.

    “Only God know wetin make Mayorkun comot from Davido label….. Peruzzi speak out now before it’s too late,” Official Manila tweeted accompanied with a sad emoji.

    Reacting to the fan’s anxiety, Peruzzi poked fun at him, teasing Davido was in the habit of hijacking his original chargers.

    “O.B.O Dey Always Thief My Original Charger”, the replied the “Majesty” crooner with a laughing emoji.

    Joining his associate and friend to mock Manila for his unsolicited concern and erroneous insinuation, Davido added; “And crusher”, alongside a laughing emoji too.

    Peruzzi has revealed the price it’ll cost to feature him on a track though he didn’t specify if the amount was subject to change.

    An internet user, presumably a singer looking for a way to shoot himself into limelight earnestly appealed for collaboration with Peruzzi.

    Identified as Starking, he wrote: “Chairman gimme one song na.”

    Arguably one of the best songwriters in this clime, Peruzzi decided to share a screenshot of the fan’s request alongside his response.

    Replying Starking, the “Majesty” crooner indicated he only needed to pay $40,000,000 for that to happen.

    He wrote: “Soft $40k only.”

    Meanwhile, Peruzzi’s anticipated feature fee to Starking has spurred reactions from the online community.

    Succ Ess said: “Peruzzi sha no b small artist again.
