The chairman of PettySave Microfinance Bank, Dr. Sunday Olorunsheyi, has been honoured with the prestigious 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year for Business Expansion and Consolidation award by the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA).
Dr. Olorunsheyi, who also serves as the co-founder and Managing Director of Pertinence Group, received the award in recognition of his remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s credit sector and his success in building a diverse business portfolio over the past 20 years.
A Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, Dr. Olorunsheyi has been instrumental in promoting financial inclusion and empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) through his leadership at PettySave Microfinance Bank.

The NICA’s annual Nigeria Credit Industry Awards, held in conjunction with the Credit Managers Conference themed “Credit Grows Green Economy,” brought together industry regulators, policymakers, and professionals to celebrate the contributions of leading figures in the credit industry.
