  • Engaging the power of faith for supernatural exploits!

Welcome to another exciting week! This week, we shall focus on: Engaging the Power of Faith for Supernatural Exploits! I pray that by the impartation of this teaching, your own portion shall be delivered!

From scriptures, we understand that God is the epitome of exploits, and as offspring of the Almighty God, we are ordained men and woman of exploits. We have an extraordinary father, and as such, we are ordained for extraordinary accomplishments and outstanding success in life. As it is written: But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits (Daniel 11:32). Thus, we need to know that God did not create us a mediocre or a struggler on the earth. In actual fact, God said concerning the redeemed that He: …shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only (Deuteronomy 28:13). This shows that we have a mountaintop destiny in Christ and are also ordained for continuous progress in life (2 Corinthians 3:18; Proverbs 4:18).

    But What is Supernatural Exploit?

First, let us understand that supernatural exploit is not about intellectualism, neither is it a product of human intelligence but the source of exploits in life is God. Therefore, by implication, supernatural exploit in this context means extraordinary accomplishments from above. It also connotes setting the pace and blazing the trail. It is all about accomplishing things that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and that have not entered into the hearts of men (1 Corinthians 2:9). That is God’s agenda for the redeemed because God has ordained every end-time saint to be a blessing to his or her world!

Importantly, we are indeed a people ordained to experience supernatural exploits after the order of God. For instance, we saw how the Old Testament saints such as Daniel, Abraham, Joseph, etc., achieved outstanding feats humanly impossible while on earth.  But the Bible says we possess greater potentials than all the Old Testaments saints. It is written: Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he (Matthew 11:11; see also Genesis 12:3; Galatians 3:29). Jesus further said:  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:12). That means we are also ordained to manifest greater exploits than Jesus.

While it is true that we are destined for supernatural exploits, it is also true that this cannot be attained outside faith. This is because it takes faith to get any result in the Kingdom, including supernatural exploits. Besides, everything about exploits requires the hand of God and faith is the only way to provoke divine hand in our lives. As it is written: Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? (Isaiah 53:1; see also Luke 1:45; John 15:5).

    What, then, is Faith?

No doubt, faith is very vital to our walk as Christians. This is because Christianity is absolutely worthless without it, as it is the principal instrument for doing exploits in the Kingdom. The Bible says: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:1-3). Moreover, when we walk in faith, we become candidates for exploits because the hand of God cannot deliver ordinary results, but extraordinary results and faith is what brings the hand of God to bear in our lives, thereby empowering us to do the impossible (Hebrews 11:32-33). Supernatural exploit becomes absolutely cheap when we secure God’s hand through the mystery of faith. However, as potent as the force of faith is, it needs to be built in order to produce. Many people do have faith for supernatural exploits, but cannot bring it to fruition because they have ignored this vital faith principle.  That is why building our faith is a must, if we must fulfil our glorious destinies in Christ. There is no faith-filled man who is not an investor in building his faith and the school of faith is an ever-learning school.

In summary, we are either building our faith or breaking it. Nevertheless, we cannot ‘wait’ for our faith to be built; we must consciously take steps towards building it through the Word of God and anointed resources of men and women of faith. As we do so, I see God launching us into His glorious plans for our lives, thereby fulfilling destiny in grand style in Jesus’ name! However, supernatural exploits in life is not for everybody but only reserved for the redeemed! Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I know I am born again! • Engaging the unlimited power of faith in the word!

Welcome to the final teaching for the month! I believe you were blessed by the last teaching. Today, we shall focus on: Engaging the Unlimited Power of Faith in the Word!

From Scriptures, we discover that at the root of all divine interventions, rewards and blessings is faith because it is a determining force for God’s intervention on our behalf. The Bible says: …but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it (Hebrews 4:2).For instance, in tertiary institutions, there are core and elective courses; until you pass the core course, you will not be promoted to the next level. Faith is not an elective course in the Kingdom; it is the principal thing. Whosoever wants to see God at work in his/her favour must believe that God is Who He says He is, and will do what He says He will do. Every promise in the Bible is for our desired turnarounds, but it will only work by faith (Luke 1:45).

Faith does not just believe that God exists; it is obedience to the Word to prove that we believe Him, and that commits God to perform our desired expectations. Our faith in the Word is fake if it is void of obedience. This is because obedience of Scripture is what gives credibility to faith (James 2:17). Our faith is ineffective without the appropriate actions. Moreover, among other benefits, faith confers us with supernatural mastery over life’s situations and circumstances. As it is written: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith(1 John 5:4). Therefore, until we understand the mystery of faith in the Word, our discovery from the Scriptures (revelation) will be mere frustration because it is faith that defines everyone’s destiny(Matthew 9:29).Furthermore, faith in the Word entails believing equally whatever we have received, which in turn empowers us to manifest as sons of God. Therefore, we must understand that what we hear is powerless until we believe it; and what we receive is helpless until we believe it. It is a combination of receiving and believing that empowers our full-scale manifestation. It is not enough to receive the Word, we must go a little further to believe the Word in order to dominate our circumstances (John 1:12).

What then is the Nature of Faith?

    • Faith is in Action, not in Words: Faith is doing what God says in His Word about any desire of our lives. It is the answer to all seemingly impossible situations around us. As it is written: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).When our faith is released, it changes our status spiritually to make us operate in the heavenlies. Every act of faith on the Word of God commits God’s integrity to perform and when He steps in, wonders happen. When we encounter God’s Word, it addresses any issue of our lives provided we act in faith, because that makes us commit God to bail us out of it. We must not assume that we believe because we are to consciously mix the Word with faith in our hearts (Romans 10:10). Understanding inspires faith; it simply means being able to see what God is saying and that comes through a process of meditation. Meditation is pondering on the Word we have received in our hearts, till faith is secreted to absorb it. That is why we need to get hold of the right Word to consciously release and activate our faith.
    • Faith is a Spiritual Force Within that Determines the Triumphs and Happenings around Us: When the paralytic man was lowered through the roof, Jesus saw the force of faith within them and said: …arise, and take up thy bed (Mark 2:9).There was also a cripple that Paul perceived had faith to be healed and he commanded him to stand up. Immediately, he was made whole. The force of faith within created the environment for his healing and deliverance (Acts 14:9-10). The level at which the Word will profit us is determined by the degree of faith within us. Therefore, faith is not on the face, but in the heart. The events of our lives are according to our faith. Every man’s future is as designed by his faith. Therefore, it is wisdom to invest in our faith and keep it strong, so that when God unveils His next level plan for us, our faith can receive it (Matthew 9:29).

In conclusion, faith has to be bought, not wished. We buy with our time, high-level discipline and understanding. Spiritual understanding is boosted by fasting, discipline and prayer. Faith also comes by hearing from God, and hearing from Him is not cheap. It calls for high-level spiritual sensitivity 24/7 because we can’t tell when He will speak. John said, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day…” (Revelation 1:10). Thus, you must be born again. Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. • Engaging the power of faith for fulfilment of prophecies!

Welcome to the concluding part of this teaching! I hope you were blessed by the teaching of last week. Today, we shall focus on: Engaging the Power of Faith for Fulfilment of Prophecies!

It is important to know that the Bible is a bank of prophecies because every statement therein is prophetic in nature. It is written: Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them (Isaiah 34:16; see also 2 Peter 1:19-21). Thus, every prophecy from God as contained in the Bible is ordained for fulfilment. As it is written: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it (Isaiah 55:11). However, we must understand that prophecies are not religious wishes; but the unfolding of God’s agenda as it relates to individuals, people, institutions or nations. Thus, prophecies will require our faith to be fulfilled. In other words, when we believe prophetic verdicts, they become binding on God to perform (Luke 1:45; Deuteronomy 18:21-22).

    But, what is Faith?

    • Faith is not a Religious Theory, but a Mystery of the Kingdom: It is written: Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience (1Timothy 3:9). Theories and principles are forces in the natural realm but faith is a spiritual force that invokes God’s hand into our situation and delivers unbelievable results. For instance, when the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, He felt virtue flowed out of Him and she was made whole instantly. When Jesus later met her, He said, “Thy faith has made thee whole.” This means faith taps into divine virtue for our change of story and that is what makes it a mystery in the Kingdom (Mark 5:25-31).
    • Faith is not a Belief System, it is a Spiritual Weapon: Through faith Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego tapped into divine nature and quenched the fiery furnace. It is written: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens (Hebrews 11:33-34). Their understanding provoked their faith and translated their bodies from the terrestrial to the celestial realm, which could not be consumed by the furnace (2 Peter 1:4; Ephesians 6:16; Daniel 3:28; 1 Corinthians 15:38-41).
    • Bible-based Faith is of the Heart and not of the Head: When Bible faith takes root and comes alive in our hearts, it rules and dominates our minds (Romans 10:10). As a result, we operate at levels higher than our natural understanding. This helps us to understand that through faith, we are empowered to overcome, dominate and determine what happens in our lives (1 John 5:4; Isaiah 55:8).
    • Bible-based Faith Manifests its Power through the Tongue: Bible faith is impotent without the active engagement of our tongues (Mark 11:23). This is because it is by the words of our mouth that we are justified or condemned. Moreover, whatever we are not willing to declare with our mouths, God is not committed to deliver (2 Corinthians 4:13; Proverbs 18:21; Matthew 12:37).

How then, do we engage the Power of Faith in the Fulfilment of Prophecies in our Lives?

    • Inject Faith into the Prophetic Word: Talking about Abraham, the Bible says: And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:19-20). Whatever God speaks with His mouth, His hands are able to perform. Thus, it is by His hands that prophecies are fulfilled; however, it is our faith that invokes His hand to perform (Luke 1:45; Isaiah 53:1).
    • Be Expectant: The reason many people’s faith do not deliver is because it lacks the required expectations. Like I always say: What we don’t expect, we are not permitted to experience. For instance, Abraham engaged the force of expectation until he saw the manifestation of Isaac in his life. The Bible records: Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be (Romans 4:18).
    • Engage Faith-filled Thoughts: We must be careful about what we think because our thoughts determine our takes in life. It is written: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he… (Proverbs 23:7). The thoughts of fulfilment of prophecies must occupy our minds because if God said it, then He is too faithful to fail. Therefore, we must gird up the loins of our minds and think only of things that are of good report (Philippians 4:8). In addition, we must not allow our minds to wander in doubts, because a double-minded man cannot receive anything from God (James 1:6-8).

In summary, we must note that our faith does not only grow by revelations from scriptures but also through anointed books of proven authors. For instance, Philip was sent to help the understanding of the Ethiopian Eunuch for his faith to grow. It, therefore, implies that our level of understanding would be limited except we humble ourselves and learn from God-ordained vessels. Remember, it is to us according to our faith and our faith is determined by our level of spiritual understanding (Romans 10:17; Acts 8: 26-39). However, to access spiritual understanding, you must be born again. Now I know I am born again!” For further reading, please get my books: Unlimited Power of Faith, Exploits of Faith, Born to Win and Satan get Lost. • Understanding the unlimited power of faith! (2)

Last week, we learnt that resident in the Mystery of Faith is a dynamo that has the capacity to turn any negative situation around and deliver our desired results.  We also established that the mystery of faith is simply doing whatever God instructs, through His Word, to prove that we believe Him to make good His promise. Furthermore, we examined a definition of faith. In today’s edition, we will explore two more definitions of faith, and qualities that make the mystery of faith unique. Let’s begin with what is faith?

    • Faith is partnering with the invisible God in the light of scriptures resulting in the accomplishment of the impossible: From scriptures, we discover that through faith, Moses partnered with the invisible God to rescue the Israelites from the land of captivity. By that partnership, Moses also achieved impossible feats and commanded great exploits such as: parting the Red Sea, feeding of three million people daily, adequate water supply in the desert and none of the people became feeble (Exodus 14:1-30, 16:2-15, 20:1-11; Psalms 105:37; Hebrews 11:24-29).

In addition, when Moses returned to Egypt, no force could arrest him because of his partnership with God. In fact, Pharaoh was afraid when Moses stood before him. Therefore, it is our active partnership with the invisible God that empowers us to accomplish extraordinary feats in life.

    • It is the power point of destiny: The Bible makes us to understand that when the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus’ garment in faith, virtue flowed from Him and she was made whole instantly. That means, without faith, we cannot tap into divine virtue that guarantees our desired change of story (Matthew 9:29; Luke 8:40-46).

Let’s examine some qualities that make the mystery of faith unique.

    • The mystery of faith manifests its power through the tongue: We must understand that without an open month, we cannot experience the unlimited power of faith. This is because faith demands that whatever we believe must first be declared, before it can be confirmed. Teaching His disciples on faith, Jesus said: …Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you (Matthew 17:20; see also Mark 11:23).

Until we declare our desires with faith in the Word, God is not committed to confirm it. Moreover, whatever is too big for our mouths is too big for our hands, and our hands can’t touch what our mouths can’t declare. For instance, two months to the dedication of Faith Tabernacle and the roof was yet to be completed, God said to me: “Two months, too much. September 18, 1999 is a reality”, and I declared it. As we declared it, God confirmed it. Declaring what the Word says, believing, no matter who mocks us, is the only way to maximise the unlimited power of faith.

Speaking of Jesus in prophecy, the Bible says: He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken (Isaiah 53:7-8).

Here, Jesus submitted because that was the price for man’s redemption.  However, when officers from the chief priests and Pharisees came to arrest Jesus at Gethsemane, all He said was, “I am He”, and they all fell backward. No matter how anointed we are, until we declare what God says, we will remain oppressed and afflicted. In other words, destiny is at a risk when our mouths remain closed.

On the other hand, we must recognise that life and death resides in our tongues, and whatsoever we declare shall be delivered whether positive or negative. Therefore, our words MUST be guided by God’s Word (Proverbs 18:21).

In addition, let’s understand that God’s Word is only accessible to the redeemed child of God. In other words, until you become born again, you cannot operate in the capacity of faith described above. Being born again simply means to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord. If you desire to operate this kind of faith, say this prayer and you will be born again: “Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the Living God. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!”

  • Understanding the Power of Faith for Fulfilment of Prophecies!

Every prophetic word is ordained for fulfilment. However, we must understand that prophecies are not philosophical assertions but divine verdicts. This is because God speaks according to His divine wisdom, not our limited human reasoning (Proverbs 3:19; Psalms 104:24; Isaiah 55:8; 2 Kings 7:1-2; Ecclesiastes 11:5). However, we must recognize that prophecies can only be fulfilled by the hand of God. That is why to experience fulfilment of prophecies, we must engage the weapon of faith (Isaiah 14:27, 43:13).

    What is faith?

Faith is being fully persuaded of the truth, the prevailing circumstances notwithstanding, until it triumphs: Faith is a covenant, tenacious force that stabilizes us under all conditions. When faith is rooted and grounded into our spirit-man, it brings us into realms of unquestionable rest (Hebrews 4:10-11; Romans 4:18-21).

Faith is not a religious philosophy or belief system; it is a spiritual mystery that confers mastery on the saints: Faith is not a humanistic principle or a psychological theory; Bible faith is a mystery. When we operate by this Kingdom mystery, we command mastery over the situations of life (1 Timothy 3:9; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5).

    How is Faith a Mystery?

Faith draws on the raw power of God: Faith taps into the raw power of God for our desired change of story (Luke 8:40-48; John 1:12; Romans 1:16).

Faith brings God’s hand to bear on our situations: Faith invokes the hand of God for the fulfilment of prophecies in our lives (Luke 1:45; Isaiah 53:1; 1 Kings 8:15).

Faith invokes divine intervention: For instance, God delivered the three Hebrew boys from the fiery furnace because their faith invoked His intervention (Daniel 3:28; See also Daniel 6:22-23).

    What makes Bible faith unique?

Bible faith dominates the world of the spirit: At the instance of faith, all evil forces bow because faith dominates its environment (Ephesians 6:16).

Bible faith has its domain in our hearts: Man is a triune being; that is, we are essentially spirits, we have souls and live in bodies. As such, we must understand that Bible faith is of the heart from where it dominates the head and body (Romans 10:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:23). For instance, the faith in the heart of the three Hebrew boys dominated their heads; they could not think of the effect of the fiery furnace. As a result, their heart-rooted faith imparted on their thoughts and prevented their bodies from been burnt (Daniel 3:28; Proverbs 23:7; Mark 11:23; Psalms 119:15).

What must we do to see prophecies fulfilled?

It is important to note that every prophetic word places specific demands on our lives; and until we adhere to them, God is not committed to fulfill His Word in our lives. For instance, if Abraham did not depart as instructed by God in Genesis 12:1-3, none of those promises would have been realized. Therefore, to see prophecies fulfilled:

We must give ourselves wholly to every demand of the prophetic word: We must understand that there is no prophetic word from God that does not place a demand on man for its fulfiment. For instance, Jesus said to the man who was born blind, “Go to the pool called Siloam and wash.” When he obeyed, his sight was restored (1 Timothy 4:15; John 9:7, 21:5-6; Luke 5:1-8).

We must engage in spiritual warfare: We must engage in spiritual warfare in order to subdue the opposing forces against the fulfilment of prophetic words in our lives. This is because every time a great door and effectual is opened to us, there are many adversaries (1 Corinthians 16:9; Deuteronomy 2:24).

Engage faith-filled words: Our mouths must be filled with the reality of the fulfilment of every prophetic word. This is because until we speak it boldly, God cannot confirm it openly (Acts 14:3; Luke 21:15; Psalms 81:10-14; 2 Corinthians 4:13).

Friend, for your faith to facilitate fulfillment of prophecies in your life, you must be saved. This entails confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. If you are set for this new experience, pray this prayer with faith in your heart: “Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the Living God. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!”
