Primate Ayodele denies alleged N150m extortion attempt on Adelabu

Primate Elijah Ayodele, Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has dismissed allegations by the Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, accusing him of attempting to extort N150 million.

According to a media report, Adelabu petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS), claiming the cleric asked him to purchase about 1,000 trumpets valued at roughly N150 million, adding that his refusal allegedly led to a prophecy predicting he would not become governor of Oyo State.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele denied ever demanding such an amount, insisting he never requested money from the minister apart from the trumpets, which he said were recommended for Adelabu’s spiritual benefit.

He explained that it was Adelabu who initially asked for the cost of the instruments, and he merely provided an estimate while advising the minister to send someone to verify the prices in the market.

Ayodele added that the minister, along with his personal assistant and another intermediary, had mounted pressure on him at the time because of Adelabu’s strong interest in securing the Oyo governorship seat.

According to Ayodele, “I didn’t ask Bayo Adelabu to bring money for prayers, I told him to ask someone from his end to go to the market and find out how much the said trumpet cost, while someone follows them from my end too. His personal assistant, himself, and the person he sent to me put me under so much pressure because he was desperate for governorship.”

He continued: “He was the one who sent someone to me to talk to me on his behalf. He went as far as saying he was willing to give anything to become the next governor of Oyo State, and the only thing I told him is to get the trumpets for his own good.”

Expanding on their discussions, Primate Ayodele said he told Adelabu that securing the governorship ticket would be difficult, and that purchasing the musical instruments, not necessarily for his church, was advised as an appeal for divine mercy. He noted that Adelabu declined.

“I told him that they won’t want to give him the governorship ticket, but if he wants it so bad, he should seek the mercy of God by buying the musical instruments for God, not even for my church, but he said he can’t do it, that’s all,” he said.

The cleric maintained that he had long warned that Adelabu’s governorship ambition required divine intervention. He insisted his prophecies were never influenced by the minister’s refusal to buy the trumpets.

He said, “I have been talking about how he won’t be made governor of Oyo State for years; this is why he called me to seek solutions. I have never spoken to him before till he sent people to me and personally requested my spiritual help. I don’t make prophecies to make money, I am blessed already, and my subsequent prophecies after our discussion about his ambition aren’t because he failed to buy the musical instrument, it can never be.”

“God is not man and definitely Primate Ayodele will never be his face in choosing his anointed for Oyo state.

“Minister Adebayo Adelabu Penkelemesi remains an anointed candidate in God’s eye and 1,000 blackmailers at vineyard or society at large will never be able to stop the divine prophecy.

“Come 2027. The voice of the people will definitely be the voice of God.”

Stop evil predictions against Tinubu, Nigeria, Guru Mahara Ji warns Primate Ayodele

Founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maraji, has cautioned Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church to desist from prophecies of doom against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and downfall of Nigeria.

He said constant prophesying of doom and disaster by Primate Ayodele won’t materialise, saying the cleric should learn from Primate Olabayo and TB Joshua and others whose negative predictions caught up with them.

Satguru Maharaj Ji, while reacting to Ayodele’s statement that Tinubu’s government has no solution to Nigeria’s economic problems wonders how a man of God can be prophesying doom events always and warning of gunshots.

A statement by Ayodele’s media aide, Osho Oluwatosin described Nigeria’s economic state as hypertensive, saying Nigeria will continue to be difficult till there’s an economic reset which the current government may not be able to carry out.

But Guru Mahara Ji in his reaction said men of God, in the Bible and holy Koran are known to follow the God of peace, unity, love and happiness.

He said: “Even when such negative things are revealed to them about their nation or individuals, against such occurrences and anything to the contrary is deviant and ungodly because when Light comes, darkness disappear. They ought to stand at sight as Divine intervention.

“Through this and similar prophecies, Primate Ayodele tends to make people believe that he is a politician in cassock.

“From the presentation and analysis of the prophecy in question, it is clear that it is a personal, politically motivated opinion by a man of god, being used by marine forces to destabilize the people and government and the people from the path of greatness, a neo-colonialist ploy to incite the people to war and therefore this is treason.

“If his prophecies in the past as an agent of colonialism have failed to come true, he should look back and return to the divine path of religious rectitude.

“How can you be saying that to the President of your country?  How do you want the people of the world to believe in him? This statement by you is demeaning of the President. You deserve to be taught a lesson of your life in order to stop this demonic behaviour

“This is the time for the people to cut off from the men in cassocks who are not intelligent enough to know that they are being manipulated by the colonial system to mislead the black man to falsely believe in the existence of a God that is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient but remained powerless and unable to help the oppressed people of the world for centuries.

“Let our so-called prophets realise that spirituality is life or death and so they must preach and work for the unity and stability of our beloved country, Africa and the World for the holy Bible warned against false prophecies or prophets speaking out of their own minds under the guise of prophesying,” for stomach infrastructure and or personal gains or recognition. They are modern day extortionists.

“The cleric as an agent of divide and rule is infamous for his ‘spirit-led’ predictions and regularly faces backlash for getting his prophecies wrong. He erroneously predicted that the People’s Democratic Party’s presidential aspirant for the 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar, would emerge as the winner but at the end of the day failed.

“These men of MIEN would not stop disgracing themselves. This was how many of them rushed out during elections to yarn okotos only to be shamed yakata, exposing their ordinariness to the whole wide world. “They even go to the extent of hiring pressmen to insult their grandfathers for monetary gains, forgetting that disrespect to the Elders is unpardonable except one has the courage to apologise.

“These, alongside many of his other doomsday prophecies have always lacked precision causing us to ask which God spoke to Prophet Ayodele?”

Maharaj Ji said that if the cleric continued to prophesy helplessness and hopelessness, many people could even die before their time.

“He said if God had shown any man of God a negative thing that would occur, the Almighty wanted them to pray to avert the calamity, adding that not everything should be taken to the public domain.

According to him, if such negative prophesies lead to the collapse of the country, even the prophet of doom will be affected in one way or the other. He should be bold to tell the people that The Christ and Mahdi of our time, The True Essence of life, our inheritance is walking on the planet now in whose love, and compassion all nations would thrive in full blow rainbow of peace and tranquility.

He further cautioned the cleric to stop criticising, placing curses and uttering judgmental prayers on leaders, but should rather go to work in the farm to produce food for the people as a positive way of contributing to the nation to succeed in their mandate.
