    Some of my fellow Nigerians are clowns, says Prince Eke

    Nollywood actor, Prince Eke, has condemned the bullies targeting Nigeria’s Super Eagles player, Alex Iwobi, following the team’s loss in AFCON.

    The Nation reported that many critics singled out Iwobi for blame in the defeat against Ivory Coast, the host country, prompting him to remove his pictures and videos from Instagram due to incessant trolling.

    Prince Eke expressed his support for Alex Iwobi, chastising those who supported #JusticeForMohbad but harassed the footballer for representing his nation.

    He warned against indulging in gambling and criticized some Nigerians for their behaviour, labeling them clowns.

    Prince also advised against relying on others to become wealthy.

    He said: “Some of my fellow Nigerians are clowns. You were part of the “#JusticeForMohbad” movement. Today, you are busy bullying Alex Iwobi for representing the country. Say NO to gambling, so you don’t depend on another man’s efforts to make a fortune #SayNoToBullying.”

    My colleagues thought I staged my kidnap to raise money – Actor Prince Eke

    Popular Nollywood star, Prince Eke, has shared his experience of being kidnapped eight years ago. 

    He, however, said his colleagues were skeptical about the authenticity of his abduction at that time.

    The movie star, in a post via his Instagram page on Tuesday night, said he was abducted along the Ubima road in Rivers state.

    While describing his experience as ‘hell on earth’, he said many of his colleagues thought he lied about his ordeal just to raise money.

    He wrote: “Today marks exactly 8 years since I was kidnapped in Nigeria. Along Ubima road in Rivers state.

    “I experienced hell on earth . But the greatest experience was that, most of my colleagues and friends alleged that I kidnapped myself to raise money.

    “Pray for life , because if you eventually die, People that you thought were close to you will say so many unprintable things about you. Thank God for the gift of life and grace!”
