    The couple, who shared a romantic glimpse of their stunning wedding look on social media with the caption “Forever together,” radiated joy, sparking an outpouring of warm reactions from fans and celebrities across Nigeria and Tanzania.

    The event, held at an extravagant venue showcasing elegant decor, serves as the grand finale of a series of ceremonies that began with a traditional Yoruba wedding in Lagos on April 17, followed by a white wedding in Nigeria on April 19, and earlier celebrations in Tanzania, including a Nikkah and civil wedding in February.

    The Tanzanian finale, described by Juma Jux as “the big one,” drew high-profile guests, including Nollywood star Funke Akindele and other Nigerian celebrities who travelled to support the couple.

    Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has explained the reason behind his multiple wedding celebrations with Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo.

    According to Jux, he wanted to honour every significant location that shaped their love story.

    Despite already having six weddings, Jux, in a video, revealed he wanted even more to fully express his love, but Priscilla’s energy levels have been depleted due to the demands of traditional and modern bridal wear.

    “This is the final round, the big one. I call it the final one because my wife is tired already. “5-6 weddings are not even enough for me. I wanted more. I wanted to go to the place where we first met, but she has no energy; she has tried.

    “She always tells me, ‘It’s easy for you because you’re wearing a suit; you don’t have to go through a lot with dressing.’ I understand her,” he added.

    The couple’s final wedding celebration is set for May 28, 2025, in Tanzania, which Jux promises will be unforgettable.

    “Tanzania is the final one, the last one, and because it’s the final one, I’d put everything on that. It’s going to be crazy. My friends from different countries are coming; from Uganda, Kenya, China, the USA, and even Tanzania,” he said.

    Actress Lizzy Anjorin has refuted claims of being envious of her longtime rival Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla, following the latter’s recent wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

    In a video shared on Instagram, Anjorin praised Priscilla, describing her as a “beautiful girl” who has charted her own successful path.

    She also admired the couple’s wedding, rhetorically asking who could harbor negative feelings toward such a joyful celebration.

    Subtly addressing her strained relationship with Iyabo Ojo, Anjorin noted that while some may try to bring her down, God continues to elevate her through their actions.

    She said: “Let’s forget about the mother. Let’s face the daughter. Who will ever hate such a wedding? Who dares to hate such a wedding? Do we want to talk about how focused that lady is? How determined she is?” she said.

    “The happiness of every mother is to have a daughter who will work along with you, regardless of who you are. Whether you are a thief, a blackmailer, a destroyer, or rich as a mother, every mother prays for a child who always thinks along with the mother.

    “Who will hate such a wedding? A wedding that they did not tell us anything negative about the wife or the husband or the mother-in-law or the father-in-law? So, tell me what you want to hate about that wedding?

    “If we are talking about the wife, she has been on her own, been a very beautiful girl, she has maintained her lane. I have said that because you are destroying me does not mean I am going to destroy you in return. You guys are trying to destroy me, but instead God is using you to promote me.”

    The actress has long been embroiled in a public spat with Iyabo Ojo, which began in 2023 and has played out on social media.

    While some fans appreciated the sentiment, the post sparked mixed reactions online. 

    In the comment section, critics accused Daniels of hypocrisy and expressed regret over her decision to marry an older man.

    Another user with the handle @Ogwu194 said, “She married a young and rich man, endurance matters in life, congratulations to her.”

    In a bid to calm the situation, @Hadasa8006 advised Daniels to ignore the negative comments, saying, “Dear Regina, don’t read comments thank you.”

    Marriage scary but my story will be different, says Priscilla Ojo

    Priscilla Ojo, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, has expressed confidence and optimism on her recent marriage to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

    Speaking at a gathering with loved ones, Priscilla highlighted the strong foundation of friendship they have built, which she believes will help them navigate life’s challenges together.

    Despite acknowledging the societal pressures and fears surrounding marriage, Priscilla said she remains steadfast in her commitment, asserting that her marriage will be a unique and peaceful journey guided by her faith.

    She said: “I’m young, there’s a lot of distraction on this journey and it tells me to go with the flow. During the process, this was more than I expected. It is not about social media, me and my husband are about peace.

    “There are a lot of scary things about marriage, but I see us as friends. My story will be different. This is a journey God has pointed out and no man can stop.”

    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, arraigned Precious Uzondu on a two-count charge bordering on alleged refusal to accept naira as a legal tender before Justice A.O. Owoeye of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos.

    One of the counts reads: “That you, Precious Chimaobi Uzondu, on the 10th of December 2024, in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, refused to accept Naira (Nigeria’s legal tender) by accepting the sum of $5700 (Five Thousand Seven Hundred USD) as a means of payment for a purchase of a Carter diamond bracelet with serial number (12345678) and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 20 of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act, 2007.”

    The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges.

    Given his pleas, prosecution counsel, Hannatu Naisa, prayed the court for a trial date and for the defendant to be remanded in a correctional centre.

    Counsel to the defendant, Jennifer Achinuagole, informed the court of a pending bail application and prayed the court to adopt the same as her oral application.

    Responding, Naisa informed the court about a counter-affidavit and a written address to the application. She prayed the court to accept the same and discount the application by the defendant.

    After listening to both parties, Justice Owoeye admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N5 million, with two sureties in like sum. The sureties must own landed property in Lagos which must be verified by the court and also swear to an affidavit of means.

    The judge also ordered the defendant’s remand in the Ikoyi Correctional Centre and adjourned till April 8, 2025, for the commencement of trial.
