    Singer Rarara serenades Tinubu with “Omo Ologo” during Katsina visit

    In a bid to boost morale and foster goodwill, renowned Hausa musician Dauda Kahutu Rarara delivered a captivating performance of his latest song “Omo Ologo” (Child of Glory) in honor of President Bola Tinubu during his two-day working visit to Katsina state.

    The visit, which aimed to address the rising insecurity and launch development initiatives in the region, saw Tinubu engage with stakeholders and local leaders on key issues affecting the state. 

    Katsina, a state that has been grappling with banditry and kidnappings, has been in dire need of effective security measures and economic stimulus.

    During his visit, President Tinubu commissioned the new Katsina Agricultural Mechanised Centre, a project aimed at boosting agricultural productivity and creating jobs for the teeming youth population.

    He also attended the wedding of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s daughter.

    Rarara’s performance, which was met with enthusiasm and applause, added a touch of cultural flair to the visit, which further highlighted the importance of arts and entertainment in promoting national unity and cohesion

    Why I back Tinubu despite criticism, by Rarara

    Popular Northern singer Rarara has explained his steadfast support for President Bola Tinubu.

    In an interview with DLC News, he said he would keep supporting Tinubu despite facing considerable backlash on social media.

    Rarara addressed recent issues such as his Facebook account being blocked, the proposed nationwide protests and the President’s accomplishments within a little over one year of being in office.

    Rarara explained his backing for Tinubu stemmed from sincere respect for the President’s efforts to tackle the nation’s pressing issues.

    He pointed at the creation of the Ministry of Livestock, the Northwest Development Commission and advancements in local government autonomy as pivotal achievements aimed at combating hunger, poverty and insecurity in the region.

    When asked about the criticism directed at him, Rarara stated that he won’t retract his support for the President.

    He argued that Tinubu has achieved significant milestones that previous leaders could not.

    He called on Nigerians, particularly those from the North, to join solidarity marches to honor the President’s contributions and advised local government chairmen to manage federal resources effectively.

    Rarara expressed optimism Tinubu’s initiatives will produce positive results within the next three months.

    He vowed dedication to highlighting the President’s successes through his platform.
