  • MI thrills Jos residents at Real Deal Experience

    The tin-city of Jos came alive last weekend as Legend Extra Stout hosted thousands of fans courtesy of its flagship consumer engagement platform, the Real Deal Experience. Thousands of fans turned up for the exciting show which held at The Polo Field.

    Headlining the show was popular rap-star M.I, who delivered a thrilling performance. From the moment he mounted the stage, a deafening applause greeted him and grew louder as he grabbed the mic and sang from his popular hits. M.I, known for his energetic stage performance left the crowd asking for more. Most of them did not want his session to end.

    With the show being hosted by Ifu Ennada and comedian DeDon, the audience did not have a boring moment throughout the night.

    And in keeping with its traditional legendary taste, a ‘tell and win’ competition was held. The competition is a blind taste test in which participants were made to tell the difference between the taste of Legend Extra Stout and other stout brands. Lucky winners of the competition went home with prizes.

    The Real Deal Experience is known for its intense musical performances, hilarious stand-up comedy, funny and poetic eulogies. And prior to the show, the brand’s Portfolio Manager, Mainstreet Lager, and Stout brands, Emmanuel Agu, assured that the show was raising the bars with the Jos edition.

    “I am happy that another Real Deal Experience has hit the city of Jos and it is another promise delivered to the customers and lovers of entertainment are brought closer to their idols,” said Agu.

    Since its inception, the Legend Extra Stout Real Deal Experience Show has delighted fans in several Nigerian cities including Aba, Ibadan, Onitsha, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Abakaliki, Owerri, Umuahia, Enugu and Lagos.  The show has over the years featured some of Nigeria’s A-list artistes including Harrysong, Timaya, Kcee, 9ice, Oritsefemi, Small Doctor, Mr. Raw, and The Obiligbo Brothers

  • Lagos residents get Real Deal Experience

    In a continuation of its taking concerts to the people, Lagos residents on Saturday were treated to a fun time as the Lagos edition of the Real Deal Experience held at the Abesan mini stadium, Abesan Estate, Ipaja, Lagos.

    Attendees were treated to musical performances, comedy, games, role play as co-host Ifu Ennada and comedian De Don kept them engaged throughout the night.

    Street kings Mr Real and Slimcase thrilled the music lovers as they left the crowd asking for more via separate performances. Their energetic stage performances were deafening, the audience began an unending sing-along from Mr Real’s LEGBEGBE to Slimcase’s OTUMBA LAMBA. Performances from other musical artists and rib cracking comedy placed the icing on the cake.

    The legendary ‘taste, tell and win’, a competition where in a blind taste test, particpants are made to tell the difference between the taste of Legend Extra Stout and other stout brands, also held. Winners went home with exciting prizes like flat screen TVs, generators and refrigerators, among other household items.

    Speaking on the event, Portfolio Manager Mainstream Lager and Stout brands NB Plc. Emmanuel Agu, said this edition was about giving back.

    “I am excited that another “confam” experience has hit the city of Lagos,” Agu said.

    “It’s another promise delivered, fans and lovers of entertainment were brought closer to their celebrities.”

    The Real Deal Experience show is conceived by Legend Extra Stout which launched into the Nigerian market by Nigerian Breweries in 1992.

  • Highlife duo, Obiligbo Brothers, headline Legend show in PH

    AS pan Nigerian concert train, the Real Deal Experience makes its next stop in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the organisers have announced that popular Igbo Highlife music group, the Obiligbo Brothers will headline the show.

    Scheduled for June 10, 2018 at the Xmas Carnival Ground, Elekahia Road, Port Harcourt, this is the second time in a row that the artistes will be treating fans to an exciting concert.

    Sponsored by Legend Extra Stout, the Port Harcourt show follows the singer’s critically acclaimed performance in Onitsha during the May edition of The Real Deal Experience.

    Organisers say the Obiligbo Brothers who are fast becoming fans’ favorites in the entire South-East and South-South, are returning by popular demand.

    Speaking ahead of the show, the two brothers who have enjoyed massive success with the release of their latest studio album “UDO GA DI”, said: “First we want to thank Legend Extra Stout for creating the Real Deal Experience show. For us, every opportunity to perform in front of our fans is a big deal and the feeling that comes with doing it on Real Deal Experience stage is even more exciting. We are glad to be performing two times in a row after our last show in Onitsha. We can’t wait to step on stage and bring the best of highlife music to the Port Harcourt audience.”

    Residents of Abakaliki turned out en-masse, as the nationwide ‘Legend Real Deal Experience’ concert came to an end last Saturday.

    Singer Harrysong, known for his energetic stage moves, left the crowd at the Abakaliki Township Stadium, Ebonyi State, asking for more with his performance.

    The ovation that greeted Harrysong’s appearance on stage was deafening and it got even louder as he began singing, starting out with the very popular ‘Reggae Blues’ hit and then proceeded with other hits like ‘Samankwe’ and ‘Baba for the girls’.

    Speaking at the concert, Portfolio Manager, Mainstream Lager and Stout brands, Nigerian Breweries, Emmanuel Agu, said that although this isn’t the first ‘Real Deal Experience’ concert, it seems as though there’s a special feeling here.

    “The people of Abakaliki are loving and receptive and I’m glad they had plenty fun here tonight. The rave was beyond me. But most of all, tonight was a terrific experience, one that I’m sure the consumers here in Abakaliki won’t forget in a long time,” said Agu.

    As the Real Deal Experience makes its final stop in Abakaliki, the Brand Manager – Stout, Nigerian Breweries, Oluseun Lawal is satisfied at the year-long nation-wide concerts.

    “The brand’s nationwide tour has visited a lot of major cities in Nigeria this year and we’re excited about how great it turned out,” said Lawal.

    “2017 has come to an end and we hope our consumers had a great time with us all year round. I’m happy at how much of a success the Real Deal Experience has been and we’re hoping for even greater successes in 2018.”

    In keeping with the concert’s tradition, attendees also won prizes from a competition which held on social media and carted home gifts such as N50, 000, flat screen TVs and refrigerators.     As Nigeria marked her 57th independence anniversary last Sunday, Legend Extra Stout took the opportunity to bring star singers; 9ice and Small Doctor the stage at the Legend’s Real Deal Experience.

    Respected as one of Nigeria’s wave-making artistes, 9ice or “Alapo Meji” as he is popularly called, delivered all shades of awesome performances on the night.

    Small Doctor also mounted the stage amidst loud cheers by fans and fun lovers at the Adura Football Field.

    Winner of the online talent competition, Joe Bizy, on Legend’s social media pages also got N50, 000 cash prizes, while more fans and customers also won other exciting prizes like flat screen TVs, generators, refrigerators and other household items.

    In addition, attendees also got the opportunity to experience the different unique elements of Legend Extra stout in a live simulation room.

    Commenting on the events of the night, Small Doctor said; “Tonight’s event has been fantastic. As always, my fans didn’t disappoint and they came all out to support their boy. I’m very proud to have been a part of this show and it’s all thanks to Legend Extra Stout. Let’s do this again soon!”

    9ice who also had a great night said; “You can tell I had a lot of fun. The venue and atmosphere was great, the fans were fantastic and of course I did what I know how to do best. Real Deal Experience concerts are fantastic and I’m sure the fans had a great time.”

    Timaya returns to Enugu for ‘Real Deal Experience’

    With fun seekers still basking in the euphoria of a recent concert, the Polo Park Shopping Mall, Enugu, will this Sunday, host another round of electrifying music performances, as Nigeria’s Dance Hall King, Timaya makes a second stop with other artistes on the Legend Extra Stout’s signature nationwide music tour tagged Real Deal Experience.

    The popular music tour, which is making its second stop this year with the Enugu edition, is an annual nationwide tour used by the stout brand to interact with consumers.

    The tour takes Nigeria’s biggest music stars to various cities around the country to entertain consumers and give music fans an experience filled with comedy, music and dance.

    The event also rewards Legend’s consumers with exciting gifts such as flat screen TVs, generators and refrigerators etc.

    In addition, the self-acclaimed ‘Egberi Papa One of Bayelsa’, Timaya, who has been a major act on the Real Deal Experience train since it first launched years ago, will be on ground to thrill consumers with back-to-back hits.

    Speaking of his excitement at returning to Enugu where he performed in 2016, the “Dem Mama” crooner said, “I’m very glad to be returning to Enugu again. The Real Deal Experience tour always gets the fans turned up and it’s never a dull moment…always electrifying. I’m really looking forward to it and seriously can’t wait to light up that stage.”

    Organisers say there will also be live performances by the Tipsy Kelvano band and rib cracking jokes by comedian De Don who also doubles as the host for the event.
