General Manager of Haven Homes, Mrs. Ufuoma Ilesanmi has won the Woman in Real Estate Excellence Award 2024 at Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) in Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
AIHS, Africa’s housing and construction expo, recognised Ilesanmi’s contributions to the real estate industry.
Ilesanmi’s has a first degree in Human Resources and a Master’s in Strategic Marketing.
She has had leadership and management training. A businesswoman, she developed Haven Farms and Haven Suites, while mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs.
Joining Haven 13 years ago as Sales assistant, Ilesanmi rose to Corporate manager, assistant general manager and general manager.

In a brief interview, she expressed her humility and gratitude for the award, saying: “I’m honoured the Africa International Housing Show has watched my growth. This recognition is humbling, as I didn’t realise people were observing my progress. I’m grateful for this award, I am grateful to Mr. Tayo Sonuga (managing director/chief executive officer) who believes in me and has given me the platform to express myself. I hope this inspires others.”
