the board of directors of Reftop Homes Limited, a top real estate firm, has called on governments and key industry players in the sector to address Nigeria’s housing deficit.
The directors spoke at their inaugural board meeting in Lagos.
A director, Dr Akin Akinpelu, noted the need for stakeholders to provide good and affordable housing in Nigeria.

Dr Akinpelu said: “Bridging the housing deficit is part of navigating economic challenges and the only solution is to provide a platform for sustainable housing development that ensures adequate, secure and affordable housing.”
According to him, the sector has challenges that must be tackled together with clarity and courage.
He urged governments and stakeholders in the sector, especially developers, to ensuring that the housing challenges were addressed.
Others present are: Col. Kayode Ajibade; Mrs Funmi Sessi; Mrs Lolade Alli; Mr Eizu Uwaoma and Chief Executive of Reftop, Dr David Assogba.
