Afro-pop singer, Darlington Edosa Braimoh, professionally known as Rich Darlington, has announced a change of name.
The star informed his fans worldwide that he would no longer be referred to as ‘Rich Darlington’ but ‘Reechdee.’
Sharing his reasons for changing his name, the Afro-pop artist said: “I decided to change my name from ‘Rich Darlington’ to ‘Reechdee’ for easy recognition and pronunciation so that my fans can easily locate me.”
He noted that his record label, Akvyb Entertainment, is in full support of his decision.

Reechdee, who is also a producer and songwriter, updated his fans on his forthcoming single featuring Nigerian superstar, Ice Prince.
“I have my first single ‘El Chappo’ featuring Ice Prince produced by Rhedi dropping on the 5th of January 2024. I will be dropping a lot of projects and collaborations with Nigeria Afrobeat A-list artists, my fans should watch out”, said Reechdee.
On his musical growth as the year comes to an end, he said I am grateful for the growth and experience I have achieved.
