  • Where is Where is Rilwan Aleshinloye?

    Rilwan Aleshinloye, one of the happening socialites of yore who carried the Lagos social scene with heavy spending and lavish parties, is ‘missing’ from the spotlight. The owner of the expansive Alesh Hotels seems to have retired from the stage, leaving the limelight for younger and more energetic dudes.

    Since his marriage to Lagos big girl and textile merchant, Shade Adesoye a.k.a. Shade Alesh, crashed like a house build with sand, Rilwan Alesh has not been as visible on the social radar as he used to be. Once upon a time, he was the toast of fuji musicians who sang his praises up and down the metropolis.

    While Shade has since moved into a sizzling romance with Balogun Adesoye, Rilwan took the opposite route and withdrew into his cocoon.

  • Rilwan Aleshinloye lies low

    T‎HERE is time for everything, goes the age-long aphorism. For popular socialite, Rilwan Aleshinloye, the time appears to have come to retire from the limelight. Alesh Rilwan, as he is fondly called, has virtually from the social scene since his marriage with gold merchant Sade Alesh crumbled. While Sade has since found her way into the arms of another lover, Rilwan seems to have forsaken both the trappings of love and the allure of the klieg lights.

    But those who should know insist that handsome Rilwan has not totally forsaken the social scene. They maintained that while he is no longer as prominent as he was in the 90s, especially in Lagos where he used to spray musicians with money, the owner of Alesh Hotels, Ajah still makes appearances from time to time.

    Some claim to have sighted him at meetings of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos, even though he prefers to sit on the back bench. He is also said to have maintained his support for the fuji music

  • Where is Rilwan Aleshinloye?

    Apart from being an attractive woman, Ogun State First Lady, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun, is also compassionate and hard working. She seeks to make the best of any situation she finds herself and this has endeared her to many. Her philanthropic nature is one of the many virtues that distinguish her from other women of her status.

    The wife of Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, is as busy as a bee as she constantly seeks new ways of advancing the cause of the less-privileged and championing initiatives that support the needy. Most of her time and resources are dedicated to uplifting mankind.

    For the foregoing reasons, among others, she was celebrated in a grand way as she clocked 50 on Monday. It was a grand affair as her governor-husband left no stone unturned in celebrating his beautiful wife’s 50th  birthday in Abeokuta, the state capital. The event was attended by the wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari; wife of Kebbi State Governor, Mrs Zainab Umar Shinkafi, and the wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs Bolanle Ambode, among other guests.

    She had had a thanksgiving service the previous day where her doting husband seized the opportunity to thank God for her life and joined her in cutting her birthday cake alongside family members, friends and members of the Ogun State Executive Council who were at the church service.

    Special prayers had earlier been held for the founder of Upliftment Development Foundation (UDF) at the Government House mosque. UDF is a private, non-profit organisation dedicated to making a difference in the lives of youths.

    With a reputation acknowledged even by royalties, Rilwan Aleshinloye has become a household name among socialites. No one familiar with goings-on in high society would feign ignorance of the influence of Rilwan, popularly called Alesh.

    But the once ubiquitous socialite has suddenly gone off the radar. His sudden disappearance from the social scene has caused eyebrows to rise, considering the fact that he bestrode the sector like a colossus in the 90s. His benevolent disposition made him the toast of many, especially fuji artistes, most of whom are beneficiaries of his financial gestures.

    He has since recoiled into his shell, causing many to wonder the whereabouts of the dude who was head over heels with famous gold merchant, Sade Alesh, before their nuptial union hit the rocks.
