Director-General (DG), Lagos State Public Procurement Agency, Mr. Fatai Onafowote, has hailed the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (ROLAC) for the support the agency has been receiving from the organisation in the training of procurement officers.

Speaking at the opening of a training in Strategic and Sustainable Procurement, organised by the agency, in collaboration with ROLAC, for procurement officers, Onafowote said the agency was proud to be associated with ROLAC because the objectives of the organisation aimed to eliminate corrupt practices align with the Lagos State Government’s policy on inclusiveness, transparency and accountability in the conduct of government business.
He said the training was designed to equip participants with practical skills and legal insight towards eliminating observed challenges, ensuring compliance with due process and empowering participants for strategic and sustainable procurement in Lagos State.
