    Why I married in my husband’s church – Ruby Ojiakor

    Actress Ruby Ojiakor has addressed criticism on the decision to have a wedding at her husband Moc Madu’s church, St Phillips Anglican Church.

    She explained her husband is the head of the family and married her “in full,” so she chose to respect his church.

    In a statement on Instagram, Ruby expressed love and respect for her husband, telling critics to do what pleases them when it’s their turn.

    She concluded by blessing her followers and asking them to stop dragging her unnecessarily, emphasising that their union is a “love story written in heaven.”

    She wrote: “Yes I wedded at “ST PHILIPS ANGLICAN CHURCH”.

    “MY HUSBAND’S CHURCH” And for those of you saying it’s wrong, that it’s supposed to be in the woman’s church, pls when it gets to your turn, you can do as it pleases you ok.

    “As for me” I wedded in my husband’s church, because he married me in Full” and he’s the head of the family. My King I Love, Adore and respect so much

    It was reported during the weekend that the movie star officially wedded her partner, Moc Madu in a star-studded wedding ceremony.

    In an Instagram post, Toyin extended congratulations to Ruby on her marriage, expressing deep regret for her absence due to a packed schedule.

    She pledged to visit Ruby, her daughter, and her new husband soon, wishing them boundless joy and blessings.

    Quoting the Bible, she declared, “What God has joined together, let no man put asunder,” underscoring the spiritual significance of her relationship.

    According to her, she plans to start over, asking fans for patience and promising updates once a new channel is created.

    She wrote: “I’m so sorry Fam. I’ve completely lost my YouTube channel meaning YouTube logged me out and I no longer have access to my channel.
    We can’t upload movies for now, I’m starting all over again.
    It’s not the end of the world, though very painful, but in all, I give God all the glory.

    Actress Ruby Ojiakor announces engagement to fiancé Moc Madu

    Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor has announced her engagement to her fiancé, Moc Madu.  

    Sharing a video of the proposal on Instagram, Ruby revealed that she said “yes” to the love of her life. 

    In a heartfelt follow-up post, she showered praises on Moc Madu, describing him as a “God-fearing Odogwu,” her world, and the only man who truly understands her.  

    Expressing her excitement about their future together, she called him her “intentional Odogwu” and “forever baby.” 

    Grateful for her new chapter, Ruby credited God for her blessings, quoting the Bible and dedicating her engagement to Him.

    Actress Ruby Ojiakor has returned to social media following the death of her best friend and colleague, Junior Pope.

    She posted a compilation of old videos on her Instagram page, reminiscing about their good times together.

    Ruby expressed that for the first time in her life, she questioned God, describing her feelings of devastation, pain, and bitterness, and prayed that his killers would not go unpunished.
