    Don’t be pressured to marry wrongly, actress Ruth Eze advises women

    Actress Ruth Eze has advised women eager to get married to prioritise marrying the right person over rushing into a relationship. 

    Eze, on Instagram, cautioned against letting social media pressure dictate their decisions, warning that marrying the wrong person just to satisfy others or prove a point can lead to regret. 

    She emphasised the importance of patience and choosing a partner wisely, rather than rushing into a potentially toxic relationship.

    She humorously pointed out that while waiting for the right partner, women may decide to have a child, but it’s better to wait than to end up with someone unsuitable.

    She wrote: “My sister it’s better to wait and marry right o, don’t allow the internet pressure u o. No go marry mad man because I wan pepper people that don’t give a fuck about you. Hmm, no go marry mad man because u wan marry spec o.

    Calm down.

    “My Point is. Wait That Wait And Marry Right. While Waiting, U Fit DROP One o That One Dey. I don talk my own ooo”.

    Asaba Nollywood actors don’t like one another – Actress Ruth Eze

    Nollywood actress, Ruth Eze, has shed light on the cautious nature of actors in the Asaba film industry towards one another.

    She noted the dynamics within the ‘Asabahood,’ asserting that the act of buying food for a fellow actor on set is considered perilous due to a lack of trust among them.

    Eze also expressed her belief that whatever brings happiness to a couple in a relationship or marriage should be kept private.

    She said: “A lot of people don’t like to see others, especially in Nollywood in the eastern part of the country. We don’t like one another. I cannot expose my relationship, or who I am in love with.

    “There is no actor in Nollywood, especially in Asaba (Delta State), that one would buy food for on set and they would eat. Everybody is scared, because of how dangerous that side is. When one goes for any production, one is usually scared. So, in order to be careful, one has to buy one’s food.”

    Actress Ruth Eze has zeroed her mind on getting married to a male colleague in the film industry.

    The thespian made this known in an interview with PUNCH, where she further stated that different girls often bring food to actors, even the married ones, while on set.

    According to the movie star, if the public has the opportunity to see the lifestyles of some Nollywood actors when on a movie set, they might not have anything to do with them.

    She said, “I can never marry a colleague. I can marry a filmmaker, but not an actor. If you see the things they do on set while filming, even the married ones, you wouldn’t want to have anything to do with them. Other girls come to look for them, and some even bring food.

    “Imagine filming in Enugu and your family is in Asaba; you would see girls bringing food to them on set. Imagine being in love with such an actor and witnessing that. The only colleague I would have loved to get married to is already married.”

    Ruth Eze also argued that whatever made a couple happy in a relationship or marriage should be kept private.
