The president of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) Samuel Ocheho has congratulated the head coach of Nigeria’s men senior handball team, the Golden Arrows, Rafiu Salami, after he bagged a IHF License A Coaching License.
Ocheho noted the influence of coach Salami in the growth of handball in Nigeria and on the national teams which saw the Golden Arrows win bronze earlier in the year at the Africa Games in Cairo, Egypt.
The HFN President believes this new feat will improve the lot and profile of coach Salami and also help in the further growth of Handball in Nigeria especially in the national teams.

” I am very excited about this feat by our senior national team manager, Coach Rafiu Salami as he gets his IHF Coaching License A certificate,” Ocheho said. “This feat will improve his lot and profile as one of the top coaches amongst the league of top handballing nations in the globe and also help in the continued growth of our sport especially in the national team.”
Ocheho said HFN will not stop supporting coaches who aim for greatness while also referring to top Nigerian coaches who have gotten different categories of IHF Coaching Licenses in the past year.
