    BBNaija updates: Fears, phobias and superstitions

    It was another diary session for Ese as she received a brief from Biggie for the Housemates.

    With the Evictions Show out of the way and the dawning of a new week, Biggie felt that the Housemates will need to face some difficult Tasks that will surely push them to levels of disgust and test the bonds amongst the Housemates.

    The theme for this week’s Tasks will be centred around fears, phobias and superstitions and the Housemates have been instructed by Biggie to collectively agree on how much of their weekly BBNaira allowances they are willing to commit to the satisfactory completion of the Tasks.

    Buoyed by the fact that they had won 100% of their wager last week, the Housemates collectively toyed with the idea of wagering 100% again towards this week’s Tasks, even though some of them seemed a bit concerned with their personal phobias and how they would react if Big Brother made them confront their fears, with Uriel and TBoss threatening to pee themselves should this happen.

    This week is shaping to be a mind boggling one so far as the Housemates try not to focus too much on the complexities of the Tasks ahead, but rather on being there for each other to ensure they score another 100% win come Task Presentation day on Thursday.

    Day 26 in the Big Brother Naija house and Big Brother has set the housemates up by choosing a few housemates to play pranks on the other few.

    The Housemates had spent the early morning lying around the garden and reminiscing about the previous night’s Task Presentation when they were prompted by the sound of music, which meant the start of the daily exercise.

    When Gifty asked the Housemates if they had seen her bracelet, TBoss seemed most offended, as the two have been close friends since they entered the House. Debie-Rise admitted knowing the prank master, revealing it was Kemen.

    However, Gifty did not seem convinced, as she continued her tirade, accusing everyone in the House. She even went to the extent of suggesting that breakfast is stopped until her missing items were found.

    A few suggestions on where Gifty could start looking were thrown around. ThinTallTony suggested she looked outside since several props, clothes and accessories were left outside last night after the Task Presentation. “I checked. It’s not there!” yelled Gifty.

    The Housemates spent the rest of the morning wondering who is responsible for the missing items while preparing breakfast and chatting. Let’s see if Gifty’s missing items turn up.

    Arena, cleaned. Entire House, cleaned. And with nothing else on their minds except rest and food, the Housemates gathered around the dining table playing a game of cards while they waited for Uriel’s cooking.

    Big Brother called Captain Efe into the Diary room and a new brief was issued.

    34_paypote_gather_004_preBiggie’s unhappiness with the attitudes of the Housemates was very evident in the Brief. The Housemates have gotten very complacent in their everyday lives, and their unsanctioned alliances seemed to be their number one distraction from the main objective and the Task today was meant to help them refocus their eyes on the prize.

    Biggie also warned that so many House rules had been broken, so the Housemates needed to pull their socks up and stop making demands like little children. Biggie also demanded they be more prudent and cautious in their daily use of water and food stuff as no wastage of food or anything else was allowed or permitted in the Big Brother House.

    The icing on the cake was when Biggie informed the Housemates that they have not only lost their weekly wager, but they have also lost their weekly Payporte wardrobe shopping benefits too.

    #BBNaija: Housemates get squard name, song, wager

    Within minutes of being announced as the new head of house, Captain Efe was summoned into the diary room by Big Brother to receive the wager brief for the week.

    Captain Efe was instructed by Big Brother that there seemed to be some tensions in the house and the task performed earlier was meant to be an ice breaker which he wasn’t sure achieved that objective.

    Big Brother gave Efe the Brief with the theme of the week being BONDING!

    Housemates rehearse the war cry

    Captain Efe is to instruct the housemates to collectively come up with a name for the squad as they will be faced with several challenges that will put their unity to test as a squad. They will also wager a percentage of their weekly shopping BB Naira allocations to the success of this task.

    Names like BBN Titans, Sea Rangers, Power Squad, BBN Gladiators and The Gobbes were debated and a consensus was reached; the squad shall be called D’UNBREAKABLE TITANS. The housemates embraced their new squad name and even created a war cry befitting the name.

    In addition, Captain Efe’s secret task by Big Brother includes to motivate the squad and help keep their spirits High at all times till a presentation is held at the end of the week during which Efe must get voluntary commendations from housemates.
