  • Ajimobi expresses satisfaction with peaceful conduct in Oyo

    •Party preaches sustained peace

OYO State Governor Abiola Ajimobi is satisfied with the peaceful conduct of the rescheduled ward congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held across the state yesterday.

A statement by the Special Adviser, Communication and Strategy to the Governor, Mr. Bolaji Tunji, quoted the governor as saying that feelers from the state’s five zones suggested that the exercise went without hitches.

Ajimobi described Saturday’s disturbances at the APC state secretariat, which forced the postponement of the congress till yesterday, as one of those things expected in a political gathering of highly placed political leaders with vested interests.

According to him, followers and supporters of such leaders have been known to instigate crisis in their bid to outdo one another and to impress their principals, who often time were never in support of such violent conducts.

The governor said: “The reports I have heard so far across the state indicate that the congress went peacefully without any form of acrimony or rancour. That is what we have been preaching and I’m happy that the players have embraced peace.

“As the leader of the APC in the state, I’m also father to all and that informed my conciliatory moves. No good father will stand aloof while his children are at loggerheads. Thank God all have been settled now and we have had a peaceful outing today (yesterday).”

The governor debunked some newspapers report, which claimed that the incident at the APC secretariat was a ‘bloody violence,’ describing it as exaggeration.

The state APC also hailed the Ward Congress Committee led by Alhaji Musa Halilu Ahmed for the professional way it conducted its task.

In a statement issued by the party secretary, Mojeed Olaoya, members across the 351 wards of the state were also lauded for their orderliness in the discharge of their onerous responsibility to elect new executives that would pilot the affairs of the party for the next four years.

“It gladdens our heart that the congress went smoothly and was very successful across all the 351 Wards without any skirmishes or violence against the wish of the so called Unity forum.

Olaoya said the 351 Wards Congresses were monitored by INEC officials and the security agents to authenticate the exercise.

The party secretary advised members of the Unity Forum to always embark on moves that would promote the party’s unity instead of being divisive.

“The claim is spurious and unfounded. They are calling the integrity of top APC members deployed in Oyo for the exercise to question. This is not good for the image of our party in Oyo State.”

  • Revealed! The True Confession Of A Frustrated Lagos Working Class Wife – “I Cheated but Saved My Marriage”.

Revealed! The True Confession Of A Frustrated Lagos Working Class Wife – “I Cheated but Saved My Marriage”.

My name is Modupe, I have been married for 10 years. I’m 35 and my husband is 10 years older than I.  When we met one of the things my husband loved about me was my high sex drive which was all good for the first couple years of our marriage, We would have sex 3-4 times a week. Sex with him started to slow down after 3 years or so nothing drastic but not as frequent as it was early on, and our sex life began to suffer.

He got promoted and was at work a lot. He would come home late, plop on the couch and fall asleep there most nights. I would end up with self-pleasure a lot of times.

I resulted to the use of sex toys but I was dying inside of me, I needed something more but the man I was married to, though we live together he’s far away from me than ever.

Sex became a once in a blue moon exercise and even when it happens it doesn’t last more than 1 – 3 minutes. I was not only starved of love but of sex as well.

After awhile I started to look at porn now and then when I was feeling especially horny. Eventually that led me to chatting, sexting, sharing nude pix of myself to strangers.

The thought of these men jerking off because of me was a thrill I have been missing really since I got married.

So I found myself complaining a lot about my husband at work. Not necessarily about sex, but I have mentioned it before – lack of love. We fights over stupid things. We get along pretty good but when we fight, we really fight. I had befriended a well built, tall black man named Danny.

We have lunch together and we even work near each other on the Island. Well one night after work, we were walking to our cars. He told me to have a good night. I said, “Yeah right. I will end up using a toy again tonight.” He said, “If you were my girl, you wouldn’t need those.” We flirt quite a bit. I said, “Oh yeah? What would you do?” He said, “Wine you, Dine you then make you scream.” I said, “Too bad you can’t prove it?” He said, “Cause you’re married?” I said, “Cause you’re not man enough.” He said, “You know where I live. Come on over and we will see.”

I didn’t give it a second thought. I followed him to his house. He did exactly what he said. Opened a good bottle of red wine, made me jollof rice, then took me to bed.

It had been far too long since I had been properly made love to. Afterwards he said, “So?” I said, “So what?” He said, “Was it good?” I said, “I haven’t been fucked like that since college.” He said, “Was this a one time deal? Be honest.” I said, “Probably not.”

We have had a weekly thing for about 6 months now, I would invite him over on certain weekends, we would meet up at his place on other days. No more fighting with my husband. Guess it was sexual frustration.

Please don’t blame me at all as my body is not a stone.

The first day I and Danny made love, it stirred a wild passion in me and I could not get enough of him. One faithful day after making fun I used woman seduction to know what he is using to satisfied me for 40 minutes with his big rod because I won’t lie to you I always scream ‘is enough, please am satisfied’ but this guy rod doesn’t get tired. Click To See His Secret Here.

I know I’m a horrible person/wife and I know alot of you will say I should leave my husband if this is what I want to do but I do honestly love him very much and our kids and the life I have with him.

If sex were good between us I’d like to think I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing. And yes I’ve talked many times to my husband about needing/wanting more sex with him and it’s good for a few days or a week then it’s back to the way it was.

Thank God Danny revealed his secret to me and I quickly try to find Danny’s big rod and 40 minutes performance secret. Immediately I got it, I dropped Danny because I still love my husband and I believe that he can do better too with this secret. Click Here For the secret.

Danny’s big rod and 40 minutes performance secret, my husband asked me what it is though and I explained to him that my friend’s husband is using it to satisfied her and that is the secret of their happy home.

  • ‘Politics is about service, not satisfaction of greed’

‘Politics is about service, not satisfaction of greed’

Ashipa Kaoli Olusanya, an APC chieftain, a former commissioner in Lagos State, Proprietor and Chief Learning Officer (CLO) of Kith and Kin Group of Schools, Ikorodu, in this interview told Adeyinka Aderibigbe how to prepare Nigerian youths for leadership. Excerpts

Recently the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, singled you out for praise, describing you as a leader worthy of emulation by the youth; you are you, and what defines your personality?

I was as surprised at such confidence boosting commendation as everyone because it came unsolicited. I never knew I was being keenly monitored by such a great leader of men. Though from a very poor family, we never covet. My mother taught me basic moral values, my mother was my first teacher, she taught me the values of hard work, she taught me to mix freely and not hold anything against anybody and at the same time, she taught me the value of focus. She taught me how to set goals and work towards achieving them. She taught me the value education.

Can you access Lagos of your time and Lagos of today?

There has been a lot that has changed between that time and now. Lagos of the 60s is a very quiet and peaceful place, a place where everybody is their brother’s keeper. There is good neighborliness; there is no thuggery and no robbery or kidnapping. We almost knew ourselves. Even as primary school pupils, you cant afford to misbehave because the news would have gotten home ahead of you and disciplined is enforced by members of the community, not necessarily your parents.

Today, the population has ballooned. The idea of being brothers’ keeper is no more there.

When you were Commissioner for Agriculture, you established farm settlements and encouraged Lagosians to go back to the farm. Is that still happening? What would be your assessment of government’s involvement in agriculture?

What assisted me in my assignment was the fact that I had earlier served as an Agricultural Officer in the civil service before finding myself back in the ministry. I was therefore familiar to all the production centres. I remember Ikorodu used to be a centre for the production of palm oil estates and food stuffs and poultry. Every Friday, members of the community come to the school of agriculture there to buy farm produce and we also ship a lot of these to Alausa. We also have other production centres at Ajara, Epe, Ejirin, Araga; so, when I came in as Commissioner of Agriculture because I knew how we used to produce foods then, I said if there is any rundown, we have to bring them back, so I presented a proposal to the government at one of our early executive council meeting and money was set aside to renovate all old farm settlements. I did not start building new ones, I renovated Ajara, Ikorodu, Araga, the buildings, the pens, the battery cages, the roads were all renovated. The next thing I did was to look at the abattoir which was another run down production centre that had been badly run down and was a loss to the government.

What would you say are the main challenges besetting the youths of today?

The youths of today are combating a number of threats that may affect their ability to manifest their full potentials and limiting their opportunity of playing a larger role in the future. One major problem is the environmental factor. The environment can be likened to planting a seed. A farmer who plants a tree in a rocky soil and does not nurture the seed would reap an emaciated plant, but if the same seed is planted on a fertile soil, it grows into beautiful plant. So what kind of soil are we planting our youths.

If we want to build Nigeria of our dream, government has a lot of responsibility to train these children in the path that would make them imbibe positive values that would make them patriotic and make them say I can die for Nigeria but before anyone can say that mentally, we must have enumerated what he had gained from such a system. Secondly, it is important for our leaders to empower the youths. What are we giving them that would make them available for that future when it eventually comes?

Were you to be offered an opportunity to serve your people now, which office do you think you can best serve your people?

The question is not about political office now, it’s about service. Where I find we are lacking competence now is in the allocation of resources for the benefit of the people and that fundamental structure is not the executive but in the legislature, a structure that can create opportunities for Nigerians, a structure that could ensure little empowerment. So, I think that platform for me would be the legislature.

Lastly, what advice do you have for the youths?

The youths must first believe in themselves. They must believe in their potentials. Secondly, they must stop depending on the government for everything, but become job creators. The future of this country is in people joining hands with the government to build the economy and only job creators do that. They should stop making themselves available for use by politicians as thugs; they should have patience and believe in hard work; they should be determined.

Government should also make access to capital for youths interested in creating jobs.

  • Delayed Gratification

    Delayed Gratification

IN the first instance, gratification means pleasure, especially when gained from the satisfaction of a desire. It also means satisfaction, fulfillment, and relief.

Delayed gratification, or deferred gratification, is the ability to resist the temptation for an immediate reward and wait for a later reward. Generally, delayed gratification is associated with resisting a smaller but more immediate reward in order to receive a larger or more enduring reward later. A person’s ability to delay gratification relates to other similar skills such as patience, impulse control, self-control and willpower, all of which are involved in self-regulation. I imagine a parent reading this wondering if it’s possible for today’s youth to practice self-regulation. Well, no matter how bad the situation is, especially with the get-rich-quick syndrome without sweating for it the right way, a good number of youth who are destined for unusual greatness are aware that the very best of things still come to those who wait. Next week, God willing, I’ll be discussing this topic and from experience give you its advantages and how it can bring you far better than what you wanted.

I am so glad A.U. was wise enough to rebuff the amorous advances of her so-called helper whose type litter all higher institutions waiting for gullible or better put, loose girls. Any girl who engages in sex with a man to gain an admission into the higher institution would certainly do same with her lecturers, her future employers and every man she needs a favour from. What you believe in your youth imprints on your soul and carries you through life – all the way; except by some divine intervention and that is if some major damage hasn’t occurred in your life’s trajectory. Also, whether anyone believes or not, your first sexual intercourse and every other carry heavy spiritual significance. If you get involved with the wrong person, your life may go down-hill and that is why at Girls Club we preach chastity. Girls, beware, be wise!

  • ‘Enrollee satisfaction survey key to quality healthcare’

The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) has further undertaken a User Satisfaction Survey in the Northeast geo-political zone, to determine the effectiveness and quality of services rendered by the providers

Its Deputy General Manager in the Planning, Research and Monitoring, Dr Thomas Adeoye, who led one of the monitoring teams in the assignment, said this was a follow-up to the just- concluded training of schedule officers in uniformed services in the zone.

According to him, this is the concluding phase of a nation-wide Comparative User Satisfaction Survey among enrollees in both the public and private healthcare facilities which took place in four states of the region, namely, Adamawa, Taraba, Bauchi and Gombe states, adding that similar exercises had earlier been conducted in the other zones of the country.

He explained that the survey is expected to be a feedback strategy for the purpose of assessing the quality of services rendered, as enrollees and their dependants access care in public and private primary healthcare facilities, so as to determine their level of satisfaction under the scheme.

“The scheme is embarking on the comparative user satisfaction survey, because of reports in its custody, to the effect that enrollees are not getting maximum services from providers, saying the survey, which is one among the key regulatory functions of the scheme, is a routine programme aimed at determining that enrollees’ rights to qualitative healthcare service delivery are honored.

“The scheme is commited to ensuring that enrollees have access to qualitative healthcare services at affordable cost. The data analysis that will result from the survey will inform future policy decisions of the scheme, as they relate to enrollee satisfaction,” Adeoye, said.

He therefore assured that the project will increase the scale of user satisfaction, as the application of the report of the exercise will deepen decision making, leading to greater enrollee service satisfaction.

The expected outcomes of the survey he noted, include generating statistical data of the level of patronage at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of healthcare, as well as the level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction of enrollees with the quality of healthcare services at public or private facilities.

The comparative enrollee survey was conducted among enrollees from federal ministries, departments, agencies, as well as para-military institutions.
