    The intimate wedding, which took place on Saturday, was attended by about 170 guests, including close friends and family such as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Paris Hilton, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.

    Gomez shared photos of the occasion on Instagram, stunning in her elegant Ralph Lauren gown, while beaming beside her new husband. Her caption simply read, “9.27.25,” flanked by two white heart emojis. Blanco responded in the comments, writing: “My wife in real life.”

    Blanco, dressed in a sharp Ralph Lauren tuxedo, was seen embracing and kissing his bride in the photos.

    The ceremony was held at Sea Crest Nursery in Santa Barbara County, a picturesque venue that provided a breathtaking backdrop for the couple’s vows.

    With family and friends present, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco exchanged promises, officially beginning their new life together.

    The couple first worked together on Gomez’s album Revival in 2015, producing hits like “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em with Kindness.”

    They went public with their relationship in December 2023 and announced their engagement a year later.

    Earlier this year, they released their joint album “I Said I Love You First,” chronicling their love story.

    Award-winning singer and actress Selena Gomez has opened up about the challenges women face in the entertainment industry, particularly when it comes to appearance, identity, and relationships.

    In a recent interview on Jay Shetty Podcast, Gomez shared personal struggles with online scrutiny and the constant criticism she receives.

    Gomez emphasised the disproportionate pressure women face, stating that they have more intense feelings about their appearance and what they wear.

    “Women have it much worse in the industry. I think from my perspective it’s pretty wild. It’s not news to anyone that women have more intense feelings, about their appearance to what they’re wearing. For me when I get prepared for an event, I just hope that I can take the picture and sit down,” she said.

    She confessed that even she falls victim to reading online comments, despite knowing they can be hurtful.

    The singer-actress also touched on the scrutiny she faces regarding her weight, saying that it makes her sad.

    Gomez acknowledged feeling guilty for admitting her emotions, but emphasised that she’s not a victim.

    She said: “The character gets judged; it’s the way I’m not white enough, I’m not Mexican enough, and I don’t know there are so many things that come up in my face that I can’t help but see. I fall victim to looking, and really, if doesn’t add to your life. It’s just so difficult from the choices of the people you date yet nobody cares when it comes to men. It’s like, yeah, ‘they did that; they said that or this.’

    “I just think that we carry a lot, and yeah my weight is a big one too. Everyone just has something to see and it’s making me sad, no I’m not a victim,everyone, but it’s making me a tad bitter. I feel guilty for saying that but it’s true”.

    To cope with the pressures, Gomez revealed that she takes breaks from social media and prioritises self-care.

    While acknowledging the power of social media, Gomez emphasised the importance of finding balance and ignoring negative comments.

    “I’m just happy that I take breaks completely at times, but I’m human and sometimes I read things. But most of the time I ignore these things. There are way to combat it. It’s not like I hate social media ,I understand the power that it has. So it’s tricky”, she added.

I’m sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag. I just can’t stand by innocent people getting hurt. That’s what makes me sick. I wish I could change the world. But a post won’t.”

    In another post, Selena wrote: “I’m taking a break and deleting my Instagram. I’m done. I do not support any of what’s going on.”
