    Seyi Vibes’ rise to stardom was orchestrated — Rexxie

    Popular Nigerian music producer, Ezeh Chisom Faith, aka Rexxie has claimed that singer Seyi Vibes’ rise to stardom on the Nigerian music scene was orchestrated by his team.

    The recording artist cum music producer, in a TikTok live session, also claimed that Seyi Vibes and his team tried to force a beef with Asake for clout, but got snubbed.

    In his words, “Seyi Vibes’ blow was an orchestration and a bit of divine arrangement. It was orchestrated in the sense that those behind him planned it. It was well-planned. Let’s not deceive ourselves.”

    Continuing, he said, “Seyi Vibes and his team even tried to force a beef with Asake but got snubbed. I don’t want to go into the details, but, understandably, Seyi Vibes’ blow was orchestrated.”

    Though Seyi Vibes is yet to react to Rexxie’s allegations, in early November 2025, Seyi Vibes took to his X account to express that many people like using his name for clout.

    In his words, “Una too like my name for clout, Una life don spoil.”

    Oluwaloseyi Afolabi Balogun aka Seyi Vibes has stated that his lifestyle is simply a reflection of his music.

    He made this known in a recent interview saying, “So I think my lifestyle is just a reflection of my music. Me having luxury cars, a luxury house… I’m coming from the streets, or the trenches—that’s my vibe. That’s my story. So I like talking about my story in my songs a lot.”

    The 25-year-old singer and record label executive stressed that as an entertainer, his only job is to entertain fans and audience every time.

    “It’s just happiness. At the end of the day, I think an entertainer should entertain. So the only job I have to do is to entertain everyone, both locally and internationally.”

    The songwriter got his breakthrough with the single, ‘Chance,’ from his second studio album ‘Billion Dollar Baby,’ which debuted at No. 19 on the UK Afrobeats singles chart and peaked number 7 on the TurnTable Top 100 chart.

    Burna Boy, J Hus, Flavour, Seyi Vibes, others for Afro Nation Nigeria

    Famous Afrobeats Festival, Afro Nation, has announced headliners and some of the performing acts for its anticipated Nigerian debut.

    The two-day festival, which is set to hold between December 19 and 20, at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, will feature performances by Burna Boy, J Hus, Flavour, Seyi Vibes and Black Sheriff.

    With the promise to be a historic celebration of culture, music, and unity, the show is set against the vibrant backdrop of Lagos, the beating heart and cultural powerhouse of West Africa.

    Having headlined Afro Nation Festivals around the world since the first event in 2019, this full circle moment holds more significance, and will see Burna Boy round off a victory lap of a year in Lagos.

     According to a statement from Afro Nation, more line up announcements are coming as anticipation builds for the show.

    As well as bringing Afrobeats to the world, Afro Nation has a mission to develop the live infrastructure in Africa, working with local creative communities to produce shows of the highest calibre and production value, with the safety and overall positive experience of every audience member of paramount importance to every festival execution.
