    Shank Comics apologises for old post praising Diddy’s mindset

    Skitmaker Shank Comics has apologised for an old social media post in which he appeared to praise the mindset of music mogul Diddy.

    The resurfaced post triggered heavy backlash online, with many accusing him of being insensitive in light of the serious allegations currently facing the entertainer.

    In a clarification, Shank explained that the post was a misguided attempt to reference a movie villain, admitting it was careless and irresponsible.

    He stressed that he does not admire, support, or defend Diddy in any form, especially given the disturbing allegations levelled against him.

    Shank added that victims deserve justice and vowed to use his platform more responsibly going forward.

    He further noted that the allegations against Diddy are completely unacceptable and have no place in the entertainment industry or society at large.

    He wrote, “To clarify any misunderstanding: My post about Diddy was a misguided attempt at referencing a villain in a “movie” and it was irresponsible. To be absolutely clear, I do not admire, support, or defend him in any way.

    “The allegations against him are horrific, and he deserves every consequence that comes from them. What he’s been accused of (and convicted of) is unacceptable and has no place in our industry or anywhere else. Victims deserve justice.I’m committed to doing better and using my platform responsibly.”

    Comedian Shank Comics survives car crash on highway

    Skit maker and live streamer Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, has survived a severe car accident on Saturday.

    The incident occurred during one of Shank’s live streams, with real-time footage capturing the aftermath.

    The vehicle, owned by content creator and collaborator Habby Forex, sustained extensive front-end damage, rendering it inoperable.

    Video shared widely on social media showed the comedian standing beside his friend Habby.

    Onlookers gathered at the scene as Shank and his friend emerged unscathed.

    In a post on Instagram shortly after the crash, Shank expressed relief and gratitude, writing: “The craziest thing happened to me today on stream. I crashed! God is good. Sorry for your Benz @habbyforex_. God, thank you. This would have gone worse. Drive safe guys.”

    Shank rose to fame during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown with viral comedy skits depicting everyday Nigerian life.

    The graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, began his career in skitsmaking before transitioning to digital content creation.

    He has since built a following of millions across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and recently expanded into live streaming on Twitch.

    Popular comedian Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel popularly known as Shank Comics has revealed how his father converted from Islam to Christianity.

    He said this during a conversation with a fan in the United States.

    The fan assumed Shank was Muslim to which he clarified that he is Christian with a Muslim name, Saheed.

    Shank explained his father, originally a Muslim, converted to Christianity after a church provided him food when he was extremely hungry.

    In a humorous tone, Shank said: “My daddy was a Muslim. Then there was one time he was f#cking hungry then one church gave him food, then he became a Christian. I swear to God, my dad is so cheap”.

    The three-day event, hosted by Kai Cenat, offered mentorship and networking for emerging content creators.

    Skit maker Shank Comics has denied rumors that his low ratings for Davido’s album ‘5ive’ is due to a personal grudge. 

    Some blogs suggested the ratings were influenced by a past incident involving Kai Cenat. 

    Shank, in a tweet, claimed his ratings are genuine, based on his honest opinion of the album. 

    He points out that he’s previously spoken positively about Davido and even danced to his songs, which contradicts the narrative of a feud. 

    Shank emphasises that he doesn’t hold grudges and would address issues directly if they existed. 

    He  wrote on X: “I just got off some calls. I’m seeing blogs push the narrative about my Davido album ratings that it’s because I have issues with him based on that Kai cenat P. If I had an issue with Davido. I would have addressed it since whatever happened. 

    “Davido and I talked then and it don pass be that. There are too many tweets of me saying good things bout him event after the so called incident.

    ” I don’t want to go into details but I don’t hold grudges with people. If you fuck up, I go tell you. To your face or I just cut you off. You go sha know say I sabi wetin you do. 

    “The narrative is not true, my ratings were genuine from my first listen of the album. Very genuine. I explained on stream, for those on stream that I have no issue with him. There are clips of me dancing to different songs on the album everywhere, why is that not posted on blogs. Negative P sha dey turn una on. All is well. Big love Davido. Gracias, Lit Gang!”

    Shank Comics breaks silence over Kai Cenat’s visit saga

    Skit maker and influencer, Shank Comics, has broken his silence following the link-up of popular American content creators, Kai Cenat and Davido, despite having been alleged to be Cenat’s main host.

    Recall that Shank had earlier received grandly Kai Cenat upon arriving in Nigeria a couple of days ago, and had initially been under his care.

    The trending impression among netizens was that Shank was behind Cenat’s visit and was his host.

    The two of them visited various spots in Lagos and had great fun together.

    However, at some point, Kai Cenat was seen in the company of Davido and other big celebrities such as socialites, and Cubana Chief Priest.

    Many had assumed that Davido had simply hijacked the Kai Cenat from Shank and this didn’t sit well with some netizens.

    Shank took to his Twitter page to break the silence on the matter.

    He started by appreciating God for making all this possible, noting that if the tour didn’t happen through him, it was still going to happen through another person.

    Shank thanked Cenat for the wonderful time and expressed hopes for future projects together.

    He said: “First, I want to say I’m grateful to God for using me to make all of this happen. Bcos either way, it was still going to happen. Either through me or any other creative. I’m Honored it’s me. Thank you @KaiCenat for being you. This is the beginning of a different Era and I’m happy it kickstarted in my time. Let’s see what we all achieve in a year or two. Big Love.     Skit maker Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel aka Shank Comics has opened up on why he called it a quit as an internet fraudster.

    Shank comics said he left because of consistent failure in making profits after learning online fraud for six months.

    He said because he was not successful at fraud, his trainer advised him to quit.

    Emmanuel said his trainer gave him an iPhone 6 and urged him to return home.

    The comic star disclosed this in the recent episode of the 9jafathemousfaces podcast.

    Shank said: “When I graduated in 2019, I went to Oshogbo to learn Yahoo. For like six months, I didn’t cash out $100, not even N5.

    “It was even the person who was teaching me who asked me to quit and go back home. He gave me an iPhone 6 and I went home.

    “My daddy that time dey shout say, you graduated with 2.2 from engineering department blablabla. That time my life don spoil. I just start to dey drink, dey do things.”
