As part of its mission to equip young Africans with tools for success, Skooqs Creative Limited has announced unveiling of SKOOQS CITY: Skills Institute & Digital Academy in Ogba, Lagos. This facility, in partnership with TCKZone, is poised to redefine digital education and skill acquisition.
Founded by Damilola Ojo and focused on equipping students with diverse tech skills, the opening took place on November 20 at Ogba, Lagos.

SKOOQS CITY, a state-of-the-art technology and vocational institute, is Nigeria’s first privately-owned finishing school, specialising in technology, entrepreneurship and vocational training for post-secondary pupils and youths.
Ojo noted the institute’s mission to bridge the gap between secondary education and university, particularly in light of current educational constraints and economic challenges.
The event was attended by Dr. Grace Akinfoyewa (director of Basic Science and Technology), representing Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Lagos State, Olarewaju Oladayo Isaac (supervisor for Education at Ojodu Local Council Development Area, representing Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Mrs. Adegbile (director of Education), representing Permanent Secretary of Education, and Head of Partnerships TCKZone, Dr. Olusola Adenekan.
