    One week after the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality show kicked off; animosity, tension of eviction and daring activities have begun among the 20 housemates.

    In one of the events leading to a reunion between Anto and Kbrule, Anto said frankly to Kbrule that kissing means nothing to her, as she had slept with a lot of men without attaching emotions to the act.

    “I’m a grown ass woman; I’ve f..ked a lot of niggas.

    “No one should take this personal, everybody is having good time, it’s all a game.

    “The same way I kissed him, I have kissed others,” she said.

    Recall that Kbrule injured himself after Anto shunned his romantic advances only to offer Lolu a passionate kiss during an ice cream challenge on Saturday.

    The fair-skinned male housemate, who sprained his ankle and wrist by jumping from the first floor, however escaped being ejected from the show after contravening Section 61, Sub-section 1 of the reality show’s rule.

    The rule forbids contestants from any kind of violence, including self-inflicted ones.

    Kbrule, according to Biggie, will be sacked from the show should a similar error be committed twice more. His pair in the game, Khloe, will share the same fate as the rule of the game applies.

    On Sunday night, the housemates showed how daring they could be, when they played the popular ‘Truth or Dare’ game.

    While Princess was the queen of the game, Alex, Miracle, and Ifu did not shy away from erotic challenges assigned to them, while Kbrule showed his grouse for Anto by choosing the punishment of eating red pepper instead of kissing her.

    As the tension of nomination for possible eviction also pervades the house, show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed that the nominations among housemates will be fake, as they won’t require the usual voting by fans of the show.

    •Father denies allegation

    A seven-year-old boy, Wisdom Adefemi, yesterday alleged that his father, Olusegun Adefemi, sexually abused his three-year-old sister five times.

    He also accused him of attempting to penetrate him and his five-year-old brother, Godspower, through the anus.

    Wisdom spoke with The Nation at the police headquarters in Ikeja.

    He alleged that their father beat him up for refusing his sexual overtures.

    The boy said: “My daddy slept with my younger sister from here (pointing at the minor’s private parts) He put her on the floor and did it. It was not once, it was five times.

    “He wanted to penetrate me from the back, but I refused. He wanted to do the same thing to my younger brother, Godspower. When we refused, he beat us up.”

    Police Commissioner Edgal Imohimi said the suspect was arrested on February 2 at 6, Ipakan Street, Ijede, Lagos State, after an official of Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Adekoya Sesan, reported the incident.

    The suspect denied the allegation, insisting that he was innocent.

    He said the allegations against him were shocking, wondering what could have prompted them.

    Adefemi said: “I am shocked at the allegations. I am innocent. I have never done it and I will never do it. I heard that my children accused me of defiling their sister. They never said it before me.

    “I thought that they (the police) would bring them (my children) before me and ask them so that I can hear it from them, but they did not.

    “You should know they are children and can be lured by biscuit or sweet to say anything. I do not know where that came from. I know I usually beat up my kids when they do something wrong. I don’t think this is an offence because I don’t want my children to become wayward.

    “Their mother left over a year ago and since then, I have been with them. I do bricklaying jobs sometimes. At other times, I work as a conductor to provide for our needs.”

    The police boss said Adefemi separated from his wife over alleged spousal abuse.

    He alleged: “The man injured his daughter in the private parts as a result of forceful penetration. He caned the girl’s siblings each time they did not allow him to penetrate them from the anus.

    “The girl has been taken to Mirabel Medical Centre for examination and treatment, while her siblings have been accommodated in a temporary home. The suspect will be arraigned after investigation.”

    Staff and students of Microbiology Department of the Olabisi Onabanjo Uiniversity (OOU) in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, were confounded by the death of a final year student, who was seen playing about the previous day.

    Sanmi Osinaike, who was preparing to defend his final year project thesis, died in his sleep on Sunday. Students, who saw him on Saturday, said he was telling his friends about his readiness to defend his thesis, which was to take place last Monday.

    But in the evening, Sanmi went to bed, but never to wake up. He died in his off-campus hostel, close to the school.

    His colleagues and staff of the department received the shocking news on Monday when the deceased was to defend his project. A gloomy atmosphere pervaded the department after the news. Many asked if the late student was ill.

    The late Sanmi was described as “smart and fashionable”. He won the department’s Most Fashionable Graduating Student during the award night held a few weeks ago.

    His close friend, Adekunle Salu, fought back tears when CAMPUSLIFE spoke to him. He said: “It is really sad. Sanmi’s death is mysterious and heart-breaking. I saw him a few days ago and he was full of energy. I still can’t believe Sanmi is dead.”

    A candlelight procession was held in his honour last Tuesday.

    I just read your column now. Please what do I do to slim down a little, especially my tummy? My hubby has not slept with me for almost 4 years and I have a 4 year old son for him, please what can I do? I’d love to get your reply please.

    This is a serious problem. If my husband failed to touch me for four weeks without any of us being away on a journey, I’ll or on a spiritual exercise, I’d call him to a roundtable and discuss this. Have you done that? Four years? You must be kidding. But in case this is true, there are possible reasons why men do not want sex. Yes, women can go for months or years in sexless marriages but it is not normal. So, let’s take a look at some of the reasons:

    He is depressed: When a man gets depressed he may not feel like he wants to have sex: This can happen to a man, especially if they have lost their job or are going through financial difficulties, this can lower their libido. Many times a man’s ego is tied into his career. He may be feeling down because he feels he can no longer provide for his family, or is somehow less of a man.

    There is also clinical depression and if a husband is taking medication some drugs will decrease a man’s desire for sex. The other side effect is not being able to release during sex. When this happens it can cause him to develop performance anxiety. There are certainly side effects listed on many anti-depressant medications stating that it can lower libido and make it more difficult to ejaculate. Since men have their genitals front and center not being able to perform or having control over their penis can create anxiety, not wanting to let down their spouse sexuality. Some women are not sensitive to this and take it personally as though their husbands are no attracted to them…

I remember one of my male friends refusing to touch his wife for years because according to him, ‘he can’t climb a mountain’. Men are much more visual than women when it comes to sex. A woman not taking care of herself and gaining weight may subconsciously tell her husband that she no longer cares enough about him to look good for her man. Even if a woman puts on a few pounds it is the way that she takes care of herself that matters, still taking the time to put on make-up or dress up for him on occasion. Some women after having children just let themselves go, not taking the time to look nice for their husbands or even for themselves. Feeling sexy or good about oneself is an important part of sexuality and radiating that to your partner will make him feel more attracted to her. A marriage is about two people working together and helping each other out to stay fit and healthy. If a wife does have a weight problem then her husband should try and help to motivate her to lose the weight instead of possibly punishing her by not having sex with her anymore, this in fact will only aggravate the situation even more. Couples who encourage each other positively when coming to weight gain issues or appearance have a much better sex life when done in a positive way.

    He may be having an affair: If a husband suddenly does not want to have sex with his wife and she suspects that he may be cheating on her then he probably is. A woman’s intuition is always her best friend.

    Some men are able to cheat and then come home to their wife and continue to have sex with her. As a man gets older, his sex drive may not be what it used to be, so he will not want sex as much. He may want to save having sex for his lover instead of his wife. Cheating can be a result of many issues that get unresolved in a couple’s marriage. Men cheat for different reasons, but one of the most common reasons is to feel masculine again, to have a woman make him feel good about himself.
