200 police teachers promoted in Southwest

There was joy yesterday at the Police Children School at Eleyele in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, as 200 teachers got their promotion letters.

The teachers, who taught at police children schools in Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Kwara and Lagos states, could not hide their excitement.

Many of them were last promoted three years ago.

The elevation, according to the promotion letters, took effect from January 1, last year.

The promotion was based on examinations conducted last year by the Ministry of Interior and the Police Education Authorities.

A Deputy Director for Human Resources at Police Force Education in Abuja, Mr. Ajao Emmanuel, led other top officials to deliver the letters.

Emmanuel said only those who passed were elevated.

He said the promotion was important because of the roles the teachers played in grooming children of officers and others attending Police Children Schools.

According to him, 1,421 teachers were promoted from one grade level to another in a nationwide exercise.

The deputy director said the Force Education Authorities believed this would motivate the teachers to work harder.

He urged them to give their best to justify the promotions.

Emmanuel assured the teachers that the Force Education Authorities were working with renewed commitment to promote other deserving and hard working teachers.

The deputy director said the schedule for this year’s promotion would soon be rolled out.

Head of Quality Assurance Department at the Ibadan Zonal Office Mr. Emidun Richard Adeniyi said the promotion would improve quality of teaching and service delivery.

Adeniyi, who oversees Oyo and Osun states, noted that it is a morale booster for those promoted, and encouragement to others not promoted.

  • Kashamu to PDP leaders: don’t kill our party in Southwest

Kashamu to PDP leaders: don’t kill our party in Southwest

The senator representing Ogun East, Buruji Kashamu, has urged national leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to kill the party in the Southwest.

Kashamu, in a statement, said one or two people should not be allowed to control the party in the Southwest.

He said: “I wish to urge our national leaders not to allow these people to destroy the party in the Southwest. If they want the party to survive in the Southwest, they must accommodate everyone. They should not allow one or two people to control the party in the Southwest.

“We have many tested, educated and intelligent leaders in the Southwest. The structure of the PDP in the Southwest should not be left in the hands of some selfish impostors, who cannot mobilise for the party and look for resources to build it, alongside other meaningful leaders in the Southwest.

“For instance, during the 2015 elections, one of these people was accused of misappropriating N300 million of the N500 million meant for the Presidential election. The matter is still with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

“It is normal for people to disagree. Sometimes, such disagreements, especially in a political party, could even shake it to its foundation. But, at the end of the day, it can only make it stronger. It was the laws of the land and our justice system that rescued the party and made it to stand today. We should stop all acts of impunity, lawlessness and illegality. That is the only way the party can stand the test of time.”

He faulted dissolution of the party’s executive councils in Ogun and Southwest, saying this was wrong since the courts had resolved issues of the authentic delegates to the National Convention from Ogun State and the Southwest.

He likened the rumbling in the party in Ogun and Southwest to “a contest among individuals interested in strengthening the PDP as a viable political party that aggregates and caters for the interests of all members and persons”.

Kashamu urged national leaders to avoid the distraction posed by some self-serving persons.

“Most politicians and political observers are aware of the political differences between me and Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, and former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel (OGD).

“The others like Chief Iyiola Omisore, Chief Olabode George and the amateurish Ladi Adebutu – are latter day joiners, who dread a free and fair competition.

“In their desperate bid to destroy me, they have resorted to all manner of tricks, intrigues and manoeuvering. They have continued to blackmail me and poison minds of members of the National Working Committee (NWC), some national leaders, past and present governors as well as former ministers, calling me all manner of names.

“I will continue to fight for the interest of my people in the Southwest as they are my strength and shield. Without them, I am nothing. Since all my actions are borne out of sincerity and singleness of mind, I will continue to put my trust in the Almighty Allah,” he said.

He accused Fayose  of wanting to seize the party structure in the Southwest for future negotiation for his ambition, adding that Daniel has his eyes on the national chairmanship and wants to be in control of Ogun State PDP.

  • Catholic bishops condemn Ozubulu massacre

Catholic bishops in the Southwest have condemned Sunday’s massacre at St. Philip’s Church, Ozubulu in Anambra State, urging governments at all levels to do more on security of life and property.

Describing the Ozubulu mass murder as “callous and horrendous”, the bishops who expressed sadness on the security situation in Nigeria, also regretted what they called the resurgence of terrorism in the Northeast with the recent attacks by Boko Haram insurgents.

Acting under the aegis of Catholic Bishops of Ibadan Province, the clerics who canvassed genuine restructuring of the country said “it is regrettable that an issue of such importance that should be an issue of justice can be subjected to so much intellectual gymnastics, political sentiments and personal interest.”

The communique signed by the President, Most Rev. Gabriel Abegunrin and Secretary, Most Rev. John Oyejola, was made available to reporters in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday by the Catholic Bishop of Ekiti Diocese, Most Rev. Felix Ajakaye. It was titled: “The Church and the Travails of a Growing Nation.”

The bishops said, “We commiserate with the Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Rev. Hillary Okeke, and the faithful of the Diocese, the government and people of Anambra State and several families directly affected by the mass murder which occurred on Sunday 6th August, 2017, at St Philip Catholic Church, Ozubulu, Anambra State.

“We uphold still the sanctity of every human life given by God and notto be taken away by anyone and therefore can never denounce enough the evil of such a horrendous and callous killing of innocent worshippers right in the Church during the Holy Mass.

“Different accounts have been given to analyse the mayhem. The bottom line is that the security situation in Nigeria remains at best, tenuous. We strongly condemn whatever may be at the root of this and similar occurrences. Those who are charged with securing human life and property in the nation must simply do more to protect the citizens.

“One must ask how murderers like the perpetrators of the Ozubulu mayhem came about such deadly weapons. The proliferation of arms in Nigeria deserves urgent and decisive action. We call on all our faithful to pray that the souls of the departed may rest in perfect peace and that God may bring enduring peace to Nigeria.”

On renewed attacks by insurgents, the bishop said: “We regret the recent resurgence of Boko Haram activities in the North Eastern part of Nigeria. The criminal group seems to have returned with double strength. We commend the Presidential order that has returned the Nigerian Military Service Chiefs in full force to the centre of the battle.

“Sadly the wanton destruction of lives and property in Southern Kaduna is also yet to abate. While commending the military and other security agencies in Nigeria for their commitment to the integrity of the nation, we urge them to eschew all forms of corruption, nepotism and betrayal and fight for the unity and integrity of Nigeria.

“History and humanity will honour their sacrifice and commitment. All Nigerians have the responsibility to collaborate with the security agencies by giving information where necessary and obeying the rules of vigilance and personal security at all times.”

On restructuring, they said: “The ongoing discourse about restructuring in Nigeria has gathered considerable momentum. In the process, different definitions have emerged on what restructuring could mean and what form such a process should take.

“It is regrettable that an issue of such importance that should be an issue of justice can be subjected to so much intellectual gymnastics, political sentiments and personal interest. Most people in Nigeria agree that, as it is currently constituted, our country is simply not serving the development and self-realization of most of its citizens and therefore needs to be revisited.

“In other words, let all of us, leaders and people agree to jettison political machinations and self-serving interests and restructure Nigeria according to the laws of equity and justice. We will thus be saving our own lives and the future.”

  • Sheriff’s Southwest supporters dump PDP for Mega Party

Sheriff’s Southwest supporters dump PDP for Mega Party

Southwest supporters of ousted National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sherif, yesterday dumped the embattled party for the Mega Party of Nigeria (MPN).

Led by a former PDP chairman in Ondo State, Mr Ebenezer Alabi, and the Director General of Omo Ilu Foundation, Otunba Leke Adekoya, the politicians told reporters at the office of the new party on Old Ife Road in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, that they left the PDP because the Ahmed Makarfi group was not magnanimous in victory.

Omo Ilu Foundation is the mass mobilisation arm of Senator Buruji Kashamu’s political organisation.

The Supreme Court, last week, recognised Makarfi as PDP’s authentic chairman.

The judgment technically removed Sheriff, who had occupied the position following the judgments of lower courts.

Alabi accused the Makarfi group of displaying arrogance and making reckless statements about Sheriff’s group.

The former PDP chairman accused Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose and Senator Iyiola Omisore of substituting the names of members of state executive with their supporters at PDP’s national headquarters in Abuja.

He said the same thing happened in Oyo State.

Alabi noted that as followers of Ali Modu Sheriff, they could no longer cope with the impunity in the PDP, which he said was the original cause of disagreement between the two groups.

He said: “The purpose of the struggle was to stamp out impunity in the party. We thought the Supreme Court judgment would teach us a good lesson, but it did not. PDP has now been taken over by vampires that we cannot co-habit with.

“We, who believe in the leadership of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff have, therefore, decided to move en masse to the Mega Party of Nigeria (MON). It was registered in 2010 as Mega Progressives Party (MPP) but we are transforming it to the new name to show the strength. The name will change officially next week.”

Alabi said members of his group left the PDP for the likes of Fayose, who he accused of bragging over the party’s control in the Southwest.

The former PDP chief said the party would soon realise that power belongs to the people who determine the destiny of candidates through the ballot, not a few individuals who overestimate themselves.

He said the leadership was already talking to all members of the group in the five other regions to come over to Mega Party in order to show their strength in the next general election.

According to him, happenings in the few months ahead will confirm that the PDP has been overtaken by events.

Alabi said though the Supreme Court judgment was a surprise, the members expected the Makarfi group to reconcile with the other group to reposition the party for the 2019 election.

He said: “But the Makarfi group chose not to be magnanimous in victory. First, they talked about offering us amnesty, as if we were militants. Recently, the Acting National Secretary also said he would not be surprised to see Sheriff join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“While Governor Fayose was also returning from Abuja, he stopped at Ikere-Ekiti, where he addressed people, making reckless statements. It was a display of arrogance of the highest order.”

Alabi said the group would soon make public the names of their leaders in the Southwest.

Also at the briefing were Oyo State Coordinator of Omo Ilu Foundation, Alhaji Kolawole Ibrahim, Chief Segun Odekunmi and Mrs Mary Anjorin, from Osun State.

  • Obasanjo made PDP in Southwest but tore its card, says Aregbesola

Obasanjo made PDP in Southwest but tore its card, says Aregbesola

Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola has said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost its relevance in the Southwest, following the tearing of its membership card by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The governor noted that the ex-President brought the party to the region and made it relevant.

He warned the opposition against importing into Osun State hoodlums and mercenaries who may cause mayhem during Saturday’s Osun West senatorial by-election.

Aregbesola spoke at the campaign for All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Mudashir Hussain, at Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area.

The governor, who earlier visited the Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi, said the emergence of APC at the Federal level had ended PDP’s reign in the country.

He said PDP’s era had gone in Nigeria, particularly in the Southwest, as many of the party’s founding fathers had dumped it.

Aregbesola said: “Why would any sensible politician at this time want to associate with a party that is not only drowning but dead in the Southwest?

“It will be an exercise in futility for anybody to now want to wake up a dead horse through the July 8 Osun West senatorial by-election when founding fathers of the party have not only deserted the party but wouldn’t want to associate with it.

“We are all living witnesses to how the former President (Obasanjo) openly at his ward declared that the PDP had gone beyond redemption, hence his declaration of the obituary of the party with symbolic trashing of his membership card.”

The governor warned troublemakers, especially the opposition nursing the idea of unleashing militants on the people during the July 8 by-election, to jettison the plan.

He said: “Why will anybody think that the people of Osun, who stood firm even in the face of provocation during the last general election under the supervision of the PDP-led government then, would now waver from such determination?

“It is on record that despite the intimidation by the then security apparatus, who invaded the state with weird-looking officers with strange-looking dogs, could not deter our people from associating with our good governance? Why will they be deterred by militants?

“We use this medium to warn any militant, who the opposition has contracted, to think twice before coming to Osun. The government is ever ready to use every lawful means at its disposal to smoke them out of the state.”

  • Odu’a, DAWN, NIPC partner on Southwest investments

Odu’a Investments Limited and the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission are working with the Nigerian Investments Promotion Council (NIPC) to boost investments in the  Southwest.

The bodies met at the Cocoa House, Ibadan headquarters of Odu’a yesterday to explore strategies to achieve their aims.

Welcoming the NIPC team, the Group Managing Director of Odu’a, Adewale Raji, said he was pleased about the collaboration, saying the region is replete with investment opportunities that need to be promoted.

Raji said the company has rolled out an ambitious plan to invest massively in agriculture and agro-allied industry that will see to the establishment of large farms,  to produce raw materials and finished products through factories that can be set up in the communities where the farms are located.

The idea is christened the Integrated Agric Project.

According to him, such farms and factories will create huge number of employment to the youths.

  • Saraki, Southwest governors, others pay tributes to Adebayo

Saraki, Southwest governors, others pay tributes to Adebayo

Senate President Bukola Saraki, governors of Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Lagos and Ekiti states were among eminent Nigerians who converged on Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to pay tributes to a former military governor of Western State, Gen. Adeyinka Adebayo, yesterday.

Adebayo died on March 8, a day to what would have been his 90th birthday.

Setting the tone for the tributes was Prof. Jide Osuntokun, who spoke glowingly for the Alumni of Christ School, Ado-Ekiti.

Osuntokun, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Germany, described the former military governor in superlative words, extolling his virtues which include discipline, commitment, professionalism, love for family and excellence in service and career.

Osuntokun said Adebayo, a gentleman and statesman applied his training as a warrior not to plunge his country into war but to avoid war.

He added that when war became inevitable, “Adebayo did all he could through tactical advice to bring the conflict to a swift end. Gen Adebayo was governor of the old Western State in war time and at a time when there were scarce resources needed for development.

His attempt to make the people know that taxes were the fundamental basis of good governance led to rural rebellion which he could have suppressed by force but rather preferred dialogue, rightly believing as a good soldier, that dialogue should be preferred to combat.”

Osuntokun recalled that Adebayo forced the Army to agree to massive recruitment of Yoruba on realising the shortage of Yoruba personnel in the military in 1966.

He also extolled Adebayo for willingly allowing Gen. Yakubu Gowon, a junior officer to him, to be made Head of State, for the sake of stability in the country.

“Adebayo demonstrated selflessness and sense of nationalism by not pushing his seniority over the Head of State at a time when the stability of the nation was very fragile.” Osuntokun said.

Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof.  Emilolorun Ayelari, who spoke for the institution where Adebayo served as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, underscored his dedication to duty, sense of humour and efficiency, even at his old age.

Adebayo completed his assignment at the university in 2015.

Ayelari recalled that the varsity recorded remarkable success during his tenure, stressing that he “served with dignity and candour.” He said Adebayo would be remembered for his wise counsel, quick interventions, punctuality and sense of humour. “His contributions were indelible,” the vice chancellor, said.

  • Southwest states can generate power, says Falana

Southwest states can generate power, says Falana

Activist lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has said Southwest states can generate power and make it available for domestic and industrial use.

He said what it would take to accomplish an independent power project in the states is “political will and commitment of their leaders.”

The senior lawyer, who spoke in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, yesterday at a public lecture to mark the 65th birthday of Senator Gbenga Kaka, said it was not mandatory that a fraction of the power  generated should be sent  “to the national grid.”

Speaking on federalism, he said it was feasible if any state decided to establish a state police to protect the life and property of the people.

Falana said if an individual could be licensed to own gun for protection, what prevented Lagos State government from applying and obtaining gun licences for about 10,000 persons to enable it protect the residents?

He said the federal system is a flawed one and urged people to ask for restructuring and true federalism so that the best of the country and people can manifest.

According to him, if the quest for restructuring and true federalism can not be attained through political process because the people profiting from the flawed  system may not want to see it happen, Nigerians should set up a body of lawyers to pursue it through judicial process.

Falana recalled that the Lagos State government during the ex-Governor Bola Ahmed Tinibu administration sued the Federal Government many times on a number of issues, including the right to create local government development areas and won. He enjoined other states to follow suit.

Falana blamed herdsmen’s attacks on farmers and communities on mismanagement and inefficiency of the security system.

He absolved President Muhammadu Buhari of connection with herdsmen, saying: “Buhari has not sent Fulani herdsmen to kill anybody.”

The activist described Kaka as a “man of extraordinary moral, integrity and humility, who is committed and dedicated to the service of humanity.”

In attendance are Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun (represented by his deputy, Princess Yetunde Onanuga), Afenifere chieftain Chief Ayo Adebanjo, who chaired the event, the Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) chapter, Prof. Deji Agboola, among others.

  • Death at DAWN: Famakinwa died remaking the Southwest

Death at DAWN: Famakinwa died remaking the Southwest

‘He was an extreme workaholic. He didn’t see problems. If you go to him and say there is a problem, he would listen to you and, after a few minutes, Dipo would bring out the
possibilities in the problem. He did not take ‘No’ for an answer. He would always find a way out. You will literally drag Dipo away from his table at the closing hour’

There was a loud cry at the Cocoa House headquarters of the Southwest development agency, Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission on Friday April 21. It was the announcement of the death of its Director-General and chief executor of the vision, Mr Dipo Famakinwa.

The news immediately threw the development house into mourning for many reasons.

One, Famakinwa set up the agency and recruited every member of staff. Two, he directed the activities of the technical work group that developed the DAWN Strategy Document, and on the back of that, led and coordinated the processes that culminated in the setting up of the Commission. Three, Famakinwa left a thriving business to lead DAWN, just as he pulled his Deputy, Mr Seye Oyeleye, from a very gainful employment and shining career to join him for a rather less paid job and selfless service at the commission.

Four, Famakinwa worked against all odds to bring the six Southwest states together to pursue development agenda through the platform of the DAWN Commission. Five, Famakinwa offered an uncommon leadership to his team and members of staff to the level that they all embraced and unconsciously developed similar passion for the regional development vision. Six, Famakinwa was excessively passionate about remaking the Southwest. He was an icon of hope to every Yoruba that was getting despair about the receding Nigeria.

As Oyeleye recalled, the late D-G would sometimes bring out the portraits of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Chief Samuel Akintola, looked at them intently and declared: “But these people did not have two heads, Seye. They had only one head like ours. Then, nothing should stop us from achieving or even doing better than they.

“We can recreate the past. We can recreate the old Western Region where everything was first- first skyscraper and first television station, among other things. We can go back to that era without scrapping states.”

It was not only the DAWN family that was thrown into mourning. The house of the Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG), the socio-political organisation of exceptional technocrats and other Yoruba eggheads that envisioned the DAWN Commission was also thrown into mourning.

The Yoruba Academy, the organisation Famakinwa led before moving over to the DAWN Commission was deep in mourning. So were the six governors of the Southwest states of Lagos, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Ogun and Ondo.

Civil servants in the various state ministries who have been working with Famakinwa on various DAWN intervention programmes were shocked. Politicians, academics, youths who have had one thing or the other to do with DAWN were all shocked. Indeed, the house of Oduduwa is mourning the demise of a young man who spent the last eight years preaching development and breaking barriers against southwest regional development.

Famakinwa, 49, was an entrepreneur and development technocrat.

As D-G, he provided strategic insight and leadership towards delivering on the vision and mission of the southwest development agenda.

While serving as D-G, Famakinwa led his team to achieve a lot in integrating the Southwest states for development.

He succeeded in establishing the Southwest Governors’ Forum which made the six governors to work together as development partners of the region. Though the move suffered a setback after the initial inauguration of the commission in July, 2013, Famakinwa’s DAWN succeeded in making the governors overcome party differences to come together on the same table in reviving the idea in November last year. They met at the Oyo State Governor’s Office, Ibadan.

The second one was held in February in Ekiti Government House while the third quarterly meeting was to be hosted by Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on April 24. It was cancelled at the last minute to honour the deceased.

Famakinwa’s DAWN worked on creating regional collaborative solutions through different programmes, including Heads of Service Strategy Briefing on the DAWN Development Index, Regional Workshop on Security, Law and Order in the Southwest and the Pre-inaugural Meeting of the Regional Technical Team on Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability in the Southwest.

It also developed strategic roadmaps with its OneBloc Document, a framework for organising Southwest Nigeria for global competitiveness. DAWN developed Homeland Strategy Document – a high-level attention document for Yoruba Homeland Affairs.

It hosted a Strategy Retreat on the Southwest Creative Economy which was sponsored by the Oyo State Government. It also made preparation for the presentation of the Southwest Creative Economy Strategy Document in the final stages.

Famakinwa’s DAWN also worked on Social and Human Development Strategy in the Southwest, developed the Southwest Nigeria Sports Development Strategic Plan of Action and also organised a strategy retreat on S o u t h w e s t E c o n o m i c Competitiveness Strategy which was sponsored by the Lagos State Government.

The commission also developed an Integrated Commercial Agriculture Development Programme for Southwest Nigeria.

DAWN also organised the Southwest Governance Innovation Conference, held a roundtable on Education Development and Advancement in the Southwest which was hosted by Osun State Government on June 20, last year.

Since last year, Famakinwa’s DAWN held Stakeholders’ Workshop on Urbanisation and Economic Corridors as catalyst for economic development (Northern and Southern Nigeria) held in June, last year at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja and Eko Hotel, Lagos State which was co-hosted with the World Bank.

It also held Optimisation Dialogue on Solid Minerals Development and Exploration in Southwest Nigeria as well as Optimisation Dialogue on Digital and ICT Sector in Southwest Nigeria.

It is currently working on a project in partnership with the World Bank on Enhancing the Economic Performance of the Lagos–Ibadan Corridor and another in partnership with the DFID with the title: “New Vision for Agriculture: Building a Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture in Southwest Nigeria.

Recalling how Famakinwa made every member of staff buy into the DAWN vision, Mr Oyeleye said: “He would say there is no looking back. We have put our hands in this plough and there is no looking back. Apart from being young and having the energy to drive the vision, he believed in it and had the passion for remaking the West.”

Describing the experience of working with the deceased, he said: “He was an extreme workaholic. He didn’t see problems. If you go to him and say there is a problem, he would listen to you and, after a few minutes, Dipo would bring out the possibilities in the problem. He did not take ‘No’ for an answer. He would always find a way out. You will literally drag Dipo away from his table at the closing hour.

“There is no money here. The work here is an intellectual work. If Dipo was looking for money, he would not have been here. He always came up with ideas. And he always worked out ideas with me.

“There were times we had challenges. But because of the way he related with members of the team, they so much believed in him. He was not a typical boss.

“Trying to bring six governors to believe in this dream was a very tough task.”

The big shoes left by Famakinwa can only be worn by a thoroughbred technocrat with rich experience and passion for the development of the Southwest region.

Famakinwa had more than 24 years of extensive and high-profile professional experience serving various sectors within the Nigerian and multi-national markets. He had led successful missions in the provision of management services to clients in financial services, aviation, retail, oil and gas, among others, and had also managed diverse talents and teams across functional areas.

Among others, he worked at senior levels at Landover Aviation Company Limited (Business Manager) and Vigeo Oil and Gas Limited (Group Head/Regional Manager, Niger Delta).

In 2006, Dipo founded Famedge Travel and Logistics Services Limited, a management services company providing air travel and logistics support to middle market and high-end clients, and later, from 2008, worked as Head Consultant/CEO of Bluehall Advisory Services, a leading-edge firm of consultants in management, capacity building and strategy consulting.

Dipo was a member of the Oyo State Social and Economic Management Team (OSSEMAT), he was also on the Osun State Public Service Reform Committee, and led the consulting team that developed the Ekiti State Service Compact and Citizens’ Charter.

Dipo was also involved with the KPMG/Bluehall team that conducted the Strategic Health-Check Review on all the companies under Odua Investment Company Limited.

A certified quality auditor, Dipo was an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, the Lagos Business School, and Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

“I have always wanted to bring out the best of comedy in the South West, knowing fully well that comedy is deeply rooted in this region from the days of our fathers who are without doubt legends of the trade, hence my decision to go on a tour of the region with my friends in the entertainment world.”
