    Stella Damasus, Daniel Ademinokan cause stir at movie premiere

    EVER since their controversial marriage, Nollywood star, Stella Damasus and Daniel Ademinokan, the estranged husband of notable Yoruba film actress, Doris Simeon, have been keeping their affair from the public, even in New York, where they now reside.

    But the duo was captured recently in a series of photographs, which are currently going viral on the social media.

    The photos were taken in New York at the premiere of a film co-produced by Damasus and directed by Ademinokan.

    Reports said they came across as husband and wife on the occasion, as they both responded to questions on the movie entitled: When Is It Enough at The Anthology Film Archives, on Friday, March 28.

    The movie, written by Stella Damasus, is centered on domestic violence and how the African society aggravates the vice.

    It was produced under Index Two Studious, a production company founded by them.

    NOT minding the several controversies that surrounded her career and relationship last year, Nollywood star, Stella Damasus, has revealed her New Year resolutions.

    She took to her blog recently, saying, “I am starting my year with a 21-day day fast and asking God for strength to see it through. I know the things that I need God to do for me and my family. I also know that I need answers and direction from God. Most importantly, I know that it is time to stop wasting my time and face my calling, regardless of what people will say or think.

    “I know that I want to build my relationship with God and advertise Him to the world with all that He has given me. I also know that it is time for you all to step out in faith and live the best life you were called to live. As the world draws closer to its end, we all need to be mindful of what we absorb from this world and society.

    “I am not going to comment on something because the world is expecting a reaction from me, but speak as the Holy Spirit leads me. I am not going to be afraid of doing the things that God has asked me to do because of the impression some people have of me. I am not going to please man and offend God. I am not going to keep friends who are not willing to follow the will of God and encourage me to love Him. I am not going to beg or seek validation from man, but from God who has already validated and endorsed me. I am not going to say I am not good enough or I am not qualified because God created me for such a time as this. I am not going to run away from the real me just because I want to retain fans and friends”.

    Stella Damasus remembers late husband

    Nollywood actress Stella Damasus, who is said to have relocated to New York, and now leaves with Daniel Ademinokan, the estranged husband of Doris Simeon, has paid tribute to her late husband, Jaiye Abodunrin.

    “My late husband passed away nine years ago and it still feels like yesterday,” she wrote on Wednesday… “Time never heals wounds; it just makes it lighter to carry. As I remember Jay today, I ask you all to please remember him in your prayers. He left a huge legacy in our hearts and in his children. My love for him can never die, it can only grow stronger. Rest well Jay.”

    The late Abodunrin, with whom she had two kids, passed on nine years ago, playing basketball. His widow is said to be secretly wedded to Ademinokan, who also took his only son, David, with him to join Damasus in America.
