Since the month began, I have showed you why you need supernatural victory, what it takes to subdue the enemy and how to process the Word of God for the desired victory.

This week, I will be teaching on how to walk in supernatural victory. Every supernatural victory is rooted in God’s Word and your tongue holds the key to your life.

Bridle Your Tongue: In every battle, your mouth ultimately determines the result.

Until your tongue is taught how to function, supernatural victory may never come your way! In Luke 21:15, Jesus said: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. To walk in supernatural victory, your tongue must be Word-bridled – it must be scripturally disciplined, because it decides the end of every battle. I’d like to provide a background for this subject.

Confidence: Confidence is the greatest asset of every conqueror. It’s a known fact that most battles are lost to fear, because it takes confidence to become a conqueror. The fearful don’t have a future of victory. That is why the enemy aims at your confidence in every battle. If he can get at it, he has made a victim of you. You must be armed with confidence when going to war. Don’t be afraid of the opposition; instead, be conscious of God’s presence (Deuteronomy 1:1-3,8). The depth of your confidence, determines the strength of your voice, and the strength of your voice determines the response from God.

Many are too feminine to walk in supernatural victory. In Mark 1:27, we read concerning Jesus: … For with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. Friend, it takes spiritual bravery to command supernatural victory! You need spiritual violence, to walk in supernatural victory. You can’t be beggarly and operate in victory; you have to be confrontational, daring, disregarding the comments of those around you!

Refuse To Be Terrified: It is not everything you say that comes to pass. It is the things you say boldly in the Lord that get accomplished. You have to speak loud against sickness, poverty, and all satanic harassments. The louder your voice, the greater your victory. Therefore, go ahead and declare it! It is not just talking, but speaking with authority, refusing to be terrified by the adversary (Philippians 1:28). When fear steps in, victory is lost!

Building Inner Strength: Proverbs 24:5 says: A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. The knowledge of the truth reinforces your inner strength. Psalm 125:1 says: They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. The word “trust” implies total abandon – no alternatives. Psalm 23:4-6 says: Yea, though I walk t hrough the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me… A consciousness of God’s ever-abiding presence builds inner strength in you.

The Word of God says: That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man (Ephesians 3:16). The Spirit of God in a person strengthens his inner man. It is clear in the Book of Acts, how unusual confidence exploded in the apostles, after the Holy Ghost came upon them. On that day called pentecost, one of the apostles called Peter made his first long sermon to a large crowd of people. At the end of it, about 3,000 people repented and were baptised (Acts 2:1-41). It was the unusual confidence which exploded in Peter that gave him the victory he had over the people who gave their lives to Christ.

These are the ways to build your confidence and then put strength in your voice, so you can command supernatural victory as a way of life. But you need help from God as His child, to access supernatural victory. When a person is born of God, he automatically has the Spirit of God in him. It is this Spirit of God in him that will make boldness, inner strength and confidence become his birthright. Being born of God (redeemed or born again) entails confessing your sins and confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

If you are not yet born again, you can do so right away, as you say this prayer: “Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and satan, to serve the Living God. Today, Lord Jesus Christ, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!”

Last week, I told you the devil is not only after your physical and mental well-being to corrupt it; he is also after your spirit. Socially, too the devil is after you. From Job 1:14-18, we see how he devastated Job’s social life – he killed his sons and daughters, his sheep, oxen and servants, his business, etc. Therefore, spiritually, mentally, physically and socially, the devil is all out for you!

Also, we looked at the Word of God as what it takes, to subdue the enemy, devil.

This week, I will be teaching on how to process the Word of God to lay hold on your desired victory this new year. The first thing is to discover the appropriate Word of God relevant to your situation. Let God know that you’re really in touch with the actual truth that will guarantee your deliverance. I’m not talking of just one scripture, as it is out of the mouth of two or three witnesses that the truth is established. Until the truth is established, God will not move.

You establish the truth by scriptural integration – you locate the appropriate Words, weave them together to present to God, as you are presenting your case. He tells us in Isaiah 41:21 to produce our cause, and bring forth our strong reasons. Settle down, take your Bible, listen to anointed tapes that address the issue of concern, take anointed books also, to find what is missing, and in no time, you’ll walk into your freedom!

The next step is to believe God’s Word. It is your faith that converts God’s Word into power. The Word of God is not power until you believe it, because like Paul said: It is the power of God unto salvation for them that believe (Romans 1:16). Faith has to be there before the profits can be delivered (Hebrews 4:2). Discovery is not the end, it’s just the beginning of the processing. You discover the Word, then you believe it to convert it to power, which compels its profit to be released to you.

Having found God’s Word and believing it, the next thing to do is to pray it.You then say in prayer: “It is written: You took my infirmities, so it cannot be there. I lay hold on my freedom from this sickness and affliction today, in the name of Jesus!” This is how to pray with the discovery you have made in accordance with your faith. When we ask anything in accordance with what we have discovered in God’s Word, He hears us, and then we know that we have received our petition (1 John 5:14). He that asks receives (Matthew 7:8).

After you have prayed, believe that you have received what you asked for. Then go with that mentality to confront the situation. Mark 11:23 says: If you shall say to this mountain… Not, “If God shall say to this mountain…” Return to the situation and address it, with an overcomer’s mentality. Why? You have sorted it out with God, you have the backing of heaven, and you are operating in the realm of the supernatural.

Many people are waiting for God to talk to the mountain for them. When you pray, what God does is to justify you so you can have your victory the way you want it. Then you go to the mountain and address it by yourself. You have to say it first before you can see the victory, for life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Victory and defeat are in the power of the tongue. You must mind what you say. If all you are saying is victory, all you will see is victory.

Next, begin to act like you have the victory already. Look like you have the victory already and talk victory. Let everything around you begin to reflect that your victory is here. Ensure that your actions are in line with your declarations. Don’t look like nothing has happened, look like something has happened! Your actions either buttress your faith or betray your unbelief. Therefore, don’t only declare it, also demonstrate it. Let your actions fall in line with your declarations. Then, you’re set for supernatural victory.

The final step is to refuse to quit. The Bible says: Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward (Hebrews 10:35). These are the seven scriptural strategies for supernatural victory: Discover it, Believe it, Pray it, Confront the Opposition, Declare your victory, Demonstrate your victory, and then Refuse to Quit. This is how to process the Word for the victory you desire. Friend, don’t disappoint destiny; accept responsibility, and it will enhance your dignity in life. Stop looking for who can do it for you! If you refuse responsibility, you’ll die a liability.

Victory is the birthright of children of God. You become a child of God by accepting and confessing Jesus as Lord. If you are not yet a child of God, you can do so by saying this prayer:”Lord Jesus, I come to You today. Forgive me my sins. Wash me with Your blood. From today, I accept You as my Saviour and Lord. Thank You for saving me. Now I know I am born again!” I will conclude this teaching next week.

Last week, I brought to you the introductory part of this teaching. This week, I will be teaching on the areas of conflict. The areas of conflict cover a person’s three-dimensional existence (spirit, soul and body) and his social life.

The Bible tells the story of a woman that Satan kept bound with the spirit of infirmity for 18 years, and Jesus commanded that she be loosed (Luke 13:10-13). Today, whatever force is molesting your physical existence, I command deliverance for you right now, in the name of Jesus!

Recognize that Satan blinds people’s minds (2 Corinthians 4:3). His mind-blinding tactics is the root of all atrocities, confusion and frustration, which eventually graduate into depression and ultimately to oppression. There’s this story of the mad man of Gadara in Mark 5. After Jesus had healed him, verse 15 says the people came down and saw him that was possessed with the devil and had legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind… That means he was in his “wrong mind” before. The devil had turned his mind upside down, making him to live in the grave yard.

The devil is not only after your physical and mental well-being to corrupt it; he is also after your spirit. The Bible talks about “an unclean spirit.” That is, the spirit that moves a man against the commandments of God. First Corinthians 2:12 talks about the spirit of the world which (as we see in 1 John 2:15-17) produces the activities of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. There’s also the spirit of whoredom Hosea 5:4), and the lying spirit (2 Kings 22:22). These are all the operations of the devil in a man, aimed at eternal destruction of the victim.

Do you now see why supernatural victory is very vital in the affairs of life? The battles are essentially spiritual. The devil is a spirit and he operates in the spiritual realm. For you to subdue him, you have to take off into that realm.

Socially, too the devil is after you. From Job 1:14-18, we see how he devastated Job’s social life – he killed his sons and daughters, his sheep, oxen and servants, his business, etc. Therefore, spiritually, mentally, physically and socially, the devil is all out for you! These are the areas of conflict. It is not enough to know the areas of conflict or who the devil (enemy) is; you must know how to handle him. The question now is: What does it take to subdue the enemy?

Friend, supernatural victory has its root in the Word of God. That is the armour you need to deal with the enemy, the devil. All things are under the command of God’s Word (Hebrews 1:3, Psalm 107:20). In Matthew 8:16, we are told that Jesus was casting out evil spirits with His Word. When the Word of God illuminates you in a particular area, you become more than a conqueror in that area!

The Bible tells us an encounter Jesus had with a centurion. The servant of the centurion was very sick, so he met Jesus to come and heal him. Jesus said He would come to his house and heal his servant. But the centurion pleaded with Jesus to just speak the Word and his servant would be healed. Jesus marvelling at the great faith of the centurion, told him to go that it would be done according to his belief. That same moment, the servant was healed (Matthew 8:5-13).

The Word of God only is more than enough to win the war that is tearing your destiny asunder – because He controls all things by the Word of His power. Jesus was teaching and we are told that, the power of God was present to heal…As the Word was coming out of His mouth, the power was going forth (Luke 5:17). When a person believes God’s Word, it becomes power – the virtue in it flows into his situation, thereby ensuring victory at the instance of faith. Faith is a person’s belief in God’s Word. A person can have faith by constantly hearing the Word of God. Faith is a shield that puts you in defence, while the Word of God is the sword that launches you into the offensive.

The principal strategy for winning the war therefore, is the discovery of the appropriate Word for the challenge you are confronted with. That is your eternal guarantee for supernatural victory. In any area of life that the Word of God has appropriately and adequately entered you, you become victorious in that area.

For you to enjoy supernatural victory, you have to be saved. This entails accepting and confessing Jesus as Lord. If you are set for it, please say this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I come to You today. Forgive me my sins. From today, I accept You as my Saviour and Lord. Thank You for saving me. Now I know I am born again!” Next week, I will show you how to process the Word of God in order to lay hold on your desired victory this new year.

Two main forces dominate the supernatural world. They are the forces of good (God) and evil (devil). These two forces cannot be compared in anyway. One is greater and mightier than the other. God is the Almighty, the source of all victories and good things.

The devil is noted for evil, causing problems and making sure that victory eludes people. It is because of this that I will be showing you why you need supernatural victory in the affairs of life. There is no better time that you need supernatural victory than this new year. Life is a battlefield. Because victory is the desire of everybody, victory therefore remains the desire, expectation and aspiration of all living being. The Bible says: In the world you will have tribulations, but he of good cheer, I have overcome the world (John 16:33). In 1 John 5:19, we also understand that…the whole world lieth in wickedness.

From the above scriptures, you can see that life is a battlefield! That is why the desire of every living being is victory. In fact, the war began in the Garden of Eden, and it has continued till now. Whether you are willing to fight or not, the fight is on. Your desire alone not to fight is not relevant. As soon as Satan was chased out of heaven, he came down here on earth (Revelation 12:12).

You need supernatural victory, because your battles are essentially spiritual. That means your victories can only be established by spiritual help – a supernatural force coming into operation to give you victory. It takes the supernatural forces of heaven to subdue the battles that are raging against you.

The devil is not your friend. He is on the prowl looking for ways and means of destroying you (John 10:10). Satan does not do it in the natural realm. Therefore, if you must be victorious this new year, you must meet him in his realm, the realm of the supernatural. That is why you need supernatural victory.

After creation, God looked at everything He created and said it was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). It, therefore, means that an enemy has planted anything that is not very good in your life (Matthew 13:24-28). That enemy is none other than Satan, the devil. But I see every such planting in your life uprooted today, in Jesus’ name!

We had this testimony, among others, from our Mission in Mali. A sister had AIDS with swollen legs, which were rotten. As she was listening to one of my tapes with one of her friends, a force hit her legs and that was it! The swollen legs became normal and the AIDS in her body was completely flushed out! That is supernatural victory! The foul spirit of sickness was hiding in her body to destroy her life. But a supernatural force came into operation and brought her victory. You can see why you need supernatural victory. Are you tormented by the devil with sickness or infirmity? As you are reading this teaching, a force will hit you there to set you free for ever, in the name of Jesus Christ! Friend, you really need supernatural victory, especially in this new year.

Recognize that battles are not strange to people (1 Peter 4:12-13). Every battle is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your victory. Problems are not designed to destroy you, but are programmed to be solved. Obstacles, are opportunities for miracles; they are not to stagnate your destiny. They are there to prove your worth in God.

There’s no champion who has no stories of challenges to tell. Champions are products of challenges. “So what do I do?” you ask. You have to go forward! That’s what to do. Because at the end it shall speak. Wait for it, the victory is coming. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh…(1 John 5:4). Heaven is the city of overcomers. We have several scriptures in the Book of Revelation that authenticate this (Read Revelation 2:7, 17 and 26. Revelation 3:5, 12 and 21).

“…To him that overcometh…” the scriptures kept emphasising. You must be prepared to overcome. You have God’s backing for victory. The number of victories available to you is equal to the number of battles you’ll ever need to fight (2 Corinthians 2:14).

Victory is the birthright of the redeemed. The redeemed are those who are born of God. You become born of God, when you accept and confess Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord. If you set for it, please say this prayer:”Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious blood. Today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!” I will continue this teaching next week.
