    ‘Superstory’ begins new season ‘The Curse’ August 8

    Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP) has announced the highly anticipated new season of its hit TV drama, Superstory, titled “The Curse”. 

    Set to premiere on August 8, 2024, the show promises to captivate audiences with its authentic African storyline and talented cast.

    According to the producer of the show, Wale Adenuga Jnr., producer of Superstory, “The Curse” is a thrilling tale that will keep viewers glued to their screens from the very first episode. 

    “It is a very captivating story which would hook viewers from the first episode. In addition to the great production design, and the multiple celebrities in it, the programme stands strong on the foundation of a very fascinating story, which is authentically African and relatable to viewers of all ages.

    “When ‘Superstory’ won the award for ‘TV Drama of the Year’ at the last edition of the Nigeria Media Merit Awards, we promised something extra special; and here it is,” he said.

    The show boasts an impressive cast, including popular actors Mr. Macaroni, Yetunde Barnabas Olayinka, Hafiz Oyetoro and Gloria Young, among others.

    WAP, known for producing award-winning shows like “Papa ‘Ajasco & Company” and “Akpan & Oduma”, has once again pushed the boundaries of storytelling with “The Curse”.

    New season of SuperStory to begin next mouth

    Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP) has announced plans to start airing a fresh season of SuperStory entitled ‘The Curse’ on Thursday August 8.

    According to the producers, the multiple-award-winning TV series features Mr. Macaroni, Yetunde Barnabas Olayinka, Hafiz Oyetoro, Gloria Young, Babaseun Faseru, Funky Mallam, Lalude, Segun Arinze, Kate Adepegba, Dele Odule, Olajumoke George, Samuel Olasehinde, Joke Muyiwa, and Temitope Aremu.

    Superstory wins more awards

    Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP) ended 2023 on a joyful note as Superstory continued its winning streak.

    The popular drama won the ‘Television Drama of the Year’ at the 31st Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA), which took place last December at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

    The producer of Superstory TV Drama, Wale Adenuga Jnr., couldn’t hide his joy and gratitude, saying: “Since Superstory started airing in 2001, we have never stopped working hard to ensure the relevance, relatability, and timeliness of our different stories being watched by several generations of viewers from various backgrounds. We appreciate the organisers of this event for recognising our efforts, and we assure Nigerians that we still have lots of mind-blowing surprises coming soon.”
