    Tastee Fried Chicken boss Adedayo immortalises deceased son

    Adekunle Adedayo and his wife Olayinka are a blend that makes other couples to go green with envy. Some have suggested that they write a book on how to build the right relationship in marriage while others say their marital life is enough lesson for anyone that cares.

    The owners of the famous fast food company, Tastee Fried Chicken, recently launched The Bunmi Adedayo Foundation, in honour of their late son. Held at the Muson Centre, Lagos, the event witnessed a gathering of eminent personalities who took turns to pay glowing tributes to their deceased son.

    The foundation was conceived to continue to propagate Bunmi’s spirit of giving and sharing. He was said to have exhibited these traits through various charity programmes while he was the Executive Director of Tastee Fried Chicken.

    Tastee Fried Chicken opens 14th outlet

    De-Tastee Fried Chicken Limited, owners of Tastee Fried Chicken eatery in Lagos, has birthed a new outlet at No 16 Catholic Mission Street, Lagos Island. It is its 14th outlet and the second one on Lagos Island.

    De Tastee, which began business in 1996 with the the Surulere branch on Adeniran Ogunsanya, has continued to spread within the metropolis, providing delicious and nourishing meals to Lagosians.

    Customers can also place orders and have it delivered via Tastee2U hotlines.

    According to the Managing Director, Mrs. Olayinka Pamela Adedayo, the yearnings and continuous patronage of customers in the heart of Lagos Island and environs made the dream a reality.

    Her words: “In the midst of the harsh economic conditions prevalent in the country, Tastee Group has been able to weather the storm through thick and thin, and we are grateful to the Almighty for this latest achievement. We are also using this medium to thank our loyal customers and promise them that we will continue to be the best, most preferred and trusted brand in the QSR industry.”

    MTN, Tastee Fried Chicken launch meal vouchers

    MTN has  partnered Tastee Fried Chicken (TFC) with the launch of meal vouchers to increase its retail footprints and provide its products and services at all TFC outlets nationwide.

    With the launch, customers can top up their air time, purchase data bundles and renew blackberry subscriptions while purchasing mouth-watering meals in a relaxed atmosphere at any of the 13 outlets of Tastee Fried Chicken nationwide.

    MTN products and services (airtime and subscriber identity module (SIM) cards for now) will be sold and dispensed from TFCs payment till. What it means is that customers can walk into TFC outlets in Lagos and buy TFC products as well as MTN airtime and SIM card.

    General Manager, Business Development,  Kola Oyeyemi, who represented MTN Sales and Distribution Executive, ‘Tsola Barrow, said the meal vouchers are a demonstration of MTN’s commitment to exploring different ways of bringing MTN products and service closer to its customers and improving customer experience across different touch points.

    “This partnership has afforded us the opportunity to push our products and services to all nooks and crannies of the country and provide our customers with a unique experience. We want to continue to touch the lives of Nigerians in exciting ways with innovative solutions,” said Barrow.

    TFC’s Director, Dr. Fowoke Akinyele,  described the launch as a way of consolidating its partnership with MTN Nigeria.

    He said: “This partnership which is positioned to do greater feats further validates and creates new opportunities for our vouchers. We encourage everyone to get the vouchers for personal use as well as family and friends in keeping with this season of giving and sharing.”

    Tastee Fried Chicken boss loses only son

    Olubunmi Adedayo’s death is more than calamity. His family, especially his mother, the owner of Tastee Fried Chicken, Mrs Olayinka Adedayo, was down with the news of his demise. Olubunmi, who until his death, was the Executive Director of TFC, died on Wednesday, September 25, 2013.

    According to a very reliable source, he fell ill few weeks ago and was flown to the US for treatment where he died. He’s survived by his parents and two kids.
