  • TBOSS clears air on child birth, denies intimacy with Ubi Franklin

FOLLOWING some news reports which alleged that former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tokunbo Idowu, was pregnant and delivered a child, the reality TV star has come out to debunk the report.

T-Boss as she is popularly known, made the clarification in a long Instagram post where she also slammed the bloggers responsible for the story.

Labelling the posts in parts, T-Boss wrote: “I wanna use this opportunity to express my immense appreciation to Each & Everyone who took out time to send me Congratulatory messages, prayers & well-wishes on the birth of my child.”

But T-Boss dismissed the reports as fake.

“However, I regret to inform you that- That isn’t my child. I’m still appalled at the person who took out the time & went through all the trouble to come up with such a juicy story, and the photo they used has a really striking resemblance to me – nose & mouth if I may say so myself.”

According to her, there is so much fake news on social media.

“Just a few days ago I wrote how I ALWAYS learn new stuff about myself on Social media & now look at the mega one that popped up, Mi darlings, whilst SM could be fun, there’s sooo much FAKE stuff out there & truth be told it’s hard to figure out what’s real or isn’t- just have your laugh & take it with a pinch of salt, not everything you see needs to be taken seriously.

“This is to the Bloggers that so hurriedly reported FAKE News, My God in Heaven aren’t y’all even Ashamed of yourselves? You didn’t confirm anything, didn’t double check nothing, didn’t As much as ask any questions but just ran with the news just to get traffic on your pages- How blooming pathetic can you be? I’m even ashamed for the people who follow y’all or believe anything y’all write. No dignity whatsoever, no respect for your name- Don’t you care about your credibility? I guess I’m the one who overthinks things but seriously y’all really need to cut the bullshit.”

She then advised people not to believe everything they see on social media.

“And to think that I intentionally set the trap for y’all to fall into by saying- Oops Busted & y’all fell for it is totally Hilarious.

“And for the very last time I’m gonna say this- Ubi is a friend & there’s NEVER, EVER been any form of intimacy between us- Not that it’s any of your business to be honest but yes a Beautiful lady & successful man can actually be friends-This is for them idiots whose stupid brains refuse to understand.

“And lastly- Getting pregnant, having a baby or starting a family is a very personal journey, kudos to those who wanna share with the world but these are terrible times, with loads of terribly angry people & let’s not forget This is Nigeria So if someone wants to keep their business Their business- there’s absolutely nothing so hard in Just letting them do them and minding your modaf**&ing business.

“If you must know you’d know & if you mustn’t then- it is what it is… What did you learn from this mi darlings? Most of the content on SM is somewhat controlled to get a particular reaction from the public- DO NOT FALL for everything you see!”

Only a week ago, Made Men Music Group artiste, Ellyman and ex-reality TV star Tboss, created a massive buzz when their photos sparked an online debate

The duo have sprung yet another avalanche of speculations among thousands of fans online with another newly-released photos which were taken at an exquisite location in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The adorable pictures recently surfaced online and have been making the rounds across social media – with majority describing the photos as an acknowledgment of love between both stars.

Reports reveal the photos were taken in another exotic location in Zanzibar; following their previous photos where they were both seen together at a popular beach in the city.

It’s unclear if the photos were intended for a project or it’s really an assertion to the speculations of romance between the stars.

Ellyman, who was signed to Made Men Music Group earlier this year and Imo Records in 2016, has since spurred a considerable amount of buzz for himself with a handful of singles officially released under the labels.

Kemen, after the disqualification, took to his Instagram handle @Kemen_Fitness and tendered an apology to Tboss, the organisers of the show and core sponsor, Payporte for his action.

The fitness guru, who also spoke about his relationship with TBoss after the show, described her as “great’’.

“Tboss is a great person and I would want to keep her as a friend. I don’t have any grudges against her and I don’t think I ever will.

“You have to bear in mind that the situation not only affected me, it also affected Tboss negatively too so we are both in this together.

“Having a bad feeling towards her would be totally out of place,” he said.

  • Expectations for the week

Finally, the Big Brother Naija show came to an exciting end yesterday after reaching its peak; Efe Ejeba, a graduate of Economics who hails from Delta state emerged victorious after securing 57% of the total number of votes casted by fans.

To give you a quick recap, earlier in the program yesterday, Marvis, DebbieRise and Tboss were evicted making Bisola and Efe as the last two standing housemates; eventually, Efe was announced winner. The implication of his meteoric rise to fame means that he gets a cash prize of 25,000,000 naira and an SUV.

The breakdown of the votes are: Efe (2,502,494), Bisola (704,072), DebbieRise (109,659), while Marvis and Tboss got 57,341 and 683,802 respectively.

With these numbers of votes, the housemates won’t be the only ones smiling to the bank, the organizers too must be making so much ‘mazuma’ and wishing they can put this up twice in a year.

After performing many tasks and taking part in this entertaining show, people are hopeful that these individuals will go ahead to blossom in their chosen careers like former Big Brother housemates, Karen Igho, Ebuka Uchendu and Tayo Faniran after now.

The health crisis ravaging the country seems to be on the increase, over 420 Nigerians have been reported dead as a result of Meningitis. However, the glimmer of light for us all is that a solution is underway.

In a hilarious slant, the Zamfara State governor added comic spice to the already tense situation when he declared that God was “punishing” his people with the disease.

Many Nigerians including the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi urged the state governor not to bring God into the picture but rather look for pragmatic solutions to assuage the health crisis that has overtaken his state. In a reprisal response, Yari reiterated his earlier comment, stating that his people have stopped living the life pleasing to God and He was using this medium to punish the people.

Hopefully, natural solutions and “spiritual” ones too will be gotten quickly so that this very deadly disease will become a thing of the past.  Already, the federal government has commenced vaccination in Zamfara which happens to be the most affected state after recording over 200 deaths to this scourge.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has discovered monies whose owners haven’t showed up to claim them in recent times. They have also been able to get suspects arrested but they have not been able to properly prosecute their cases in court. Judging from very recent examples, the anti-graft agency needs to beef-up its prosecution process to ensure that they are not labeled ‘toothless dog’ by the public.

President Buhari has equally called upon them to properly dig deeper into issues before dragging suspects to court.

Mfm fc of Agege has moved back to the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League after trouncing El-Kanemi warriors of Maduguri 3-0 in Lagos at the weekend. With goals from wonderboy Sikiru Olatunbosun, goal king Stephen Odey and Austine Ogunye, the “Olukoya boys” now go top of the log with 33 points followed closely by Plateau United who have a game in hand.

In an ugly incident over the weekend in the league, fans of Kano Pillars attacked the Akwa United team after losing the home game. Hopefully, proper punishment will be meted out to the club to serve as deterrent to others by the organizers of the league. Also, the organizing body has to ensure they bring the league back on television after two weeks of non-availability of league football live for all to see.

Over 26 million votes. An African record.#BBNaijahttps://t.co/e5UhEgZhIL

    — Ebuka Obi-Uchendu (@Ebuka) April 9, 2017

This comes after the top five housemates were asked to campaign for votes on Thursday, April 5, 2017 in which they stated reasons why they should be given the chance to win the game.

The Payporte sponsored show had earlier recorded over 11 million votes last week when Bally, Marvis, Debie-Rise and Tboss were up for nomination which saw Bally being evicted from the house.

The final week witnessed aggressive votes from the fans who wanted their favorites to win. This was featured with online campaigns, tours and rallies in order to canvass votes for their preferred housemates.

Campaign teams for the top five housemates took to social media to educate fans on who to vote for through the endorsed We Chat Application and text messages with hash tags trending for each housemate.

The show which came to an end yesterday saw the winner; Efe scored 57.61 per cent of the total votes closely followed by Bisola’s 18.54 per cent, Tboss’ 16.60 per cent, Debie-Rise’s 8.78 per cent and Marvis’ 1.47 per cent.

Efe Ejeba wins Big Brother Naija show

    …Gets N25 million, SUV
Bisola, first runner up, TBoss, second runner up

After 78 days of dramatic activities in the Big Brother Naija (BBN) house, the lifestyle reality show came to an end, Sunday night, with Delta State contestant, Efe Ejeba winning the coveted prize of N25 million and a Kia Seranto SUV.
Efe, an upcoming rapper and last man standing on the show beat fellow finalists – Bisola, TBoss, Debie-Rise and Marvis – in a tension-filled finale that had fans of the show canvassing vigorously for their preferred housemates.
The 24-hour three-month long live show which commenced recording in Johannesburg, South Africa on January 22, 2017, with 12 housemates who were later joined by two others, and another two but fake housemates, climaxed in glamorous live performances that had DJ Neptune, music artistes Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba, Tiwa savage and Emmy Gee, throwing up so much vibes amidst pomp.
While in the house, Efe, who is the youngest contestant – aged 24 – was unique for his frankness, multiple-term as Head of House, and his common use of pidgin diction with jokey phrases.
A graduate of Economics from the University of Jos, Plateau State, the self-acclaimed ‘street’ boy, who was one of the usually nominated housemates for possible eviction, had, each time, led the vote chart.
Female housemate and multi-talented entertainer, Bisola was a high contender for the prize. She told Big Brother in a Diary Room session earlier that win or lose; “I feel like a winner already.” She noted that it took her eight years to be selected as a participant, and believes the show will impact her career greatly.
Big Brother who expressed optimism for her talents admonished her in a touching way, as she fought back tears. It was the most emotional last Diary Room session.
He said: “It’s been an amazing experience having you in the house – your versatility, your incredibility. Yes, there have been moments you have told big Brother that certain things you have done and may have said, that you wish to take them back; but who can judge you, except they have been through this experience themselves. It’s always good to find out why people do what they do. That curiosity leads to understanding, and understanding opens up the human souls to compassion, and compassion is the cornerstone of love. For there is no guilt in humans, all there is, is love. Bisola, as you leave tonight, may genuine love find you. May you prosper beyond your imagination. You are a gold fish… you are a gold fish; there will be no hiding place for you. All the good things will locate you. You can sing, you can act… the question is not what can Bisola do? It is what can’t Bisola do? Big Brother has truly enjoyed your stay in the house and wishes you all the very best in your future endeavor. You’ve got a Midas touch, go touch anything a d it will turn to gold. Good luck to you…”
2Baba opened the show, singing his latest song, ‘Holy Holy’, followed by Mavin Record’s First Lady, Tiwa Savage with ‘Key to the City’. When Emmy Gee climbed the stage featuring AB Crazy and DJ Dimplez, they sang ‘Rands and Nairas’. Tiwa Savage returned one more time to the stage, doing the medley, ‘Romatic’ and ‘All Over’, while 2Baba closed the performances with the classic, ‘African Queen’.

It was a live crossing show, with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu hosting the South African studio leg, while former BBN winner, Katung Aduwak anchored the live broadcast from the Lagos screening center, the Classique Event Place, Kudirat Abiola Way, Ikeja, with fans of the show, sponsors, Nigerian media and past contestants of the show.
Marvis was the first to leave the house. When asked if she would want to further her relationship with Efe, she became evasive. Marvis’ exit was followed by that of guitar girl Debie-Rise who had disappointment written all over her. Asked where her heart belongs between Efe and Bassey, she noted that although it was natural to get attracted to one or two persons, “But I really like Bassey.”
It was jubilation at the Lagos screening center when TBoss was evicted, just as the crowd at the Johannesburg studio where sort of booing her. She had been the most controversial housemate, noted for a beautiful body, full of tattoos and piercings which she displayed at will. The internet was abuzz last week when it was said that the Nigerian-Romanian housemate could not recite the National Anthem. She, also being the reason Kemen was disqualified from the show. However, she was declared overall winner of Friday Payporte arena games with a voucher of N500, 000 for shopping.
Presenting another side-laurel; the ONE campaign prize, won by Bisola, was Honorable Desmond Elliot and Sarah Makka. She will be joining organisers in New York to speak further at the United Nations Assembly on educating the girl-child.
When Efe was declared winner, it was clear Bisola was the first runner-up.
Previously evicted housemates include Miyonse, Soma, CocoIce, Gifty, Uriel, ThinTallTony, Bassey, Balley, and Kemen, who was disqualified for breaking the rule of the game. They were all present at the Lagos live screening.
In the last three months, Big Brother Naija was estimated to be the most watched show on the African continent, shutting down Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with trending issues on a daily basis.

As the race to Sunday’s Big Brother Naija grand finale gets more interesting, residents of Warri have organized prayer sessions for one of the housemates, Efe at “God’s command church”. The sessions which held this morning saw men and women dressed in branded shirts of Efe praying for him to emerge victorious. In a video that was released on twitter earlier, a congregation of about twenty gathered to pray having the 24 year old’s picture placed in a Bible.

Tboss, Marvis, Debbie-Rise and Efe are finalists in the ongoing entertainment show and the person with the highest number of votes wins an SUV and twenty five million naira.

##BBNaija Day 74: Tboss becomes head of house

Tboss, one of the housemates of the on-going Big Brother Nigeria (#BBNaija) TV reality show has been `crowned’ the new head of house (HoH) for a day.

She was crowned by Marvis, who got the crown on Wednesday as part of the new rule by “Biggie”” owner of the house stating that all the housemates take turns to wear the crown this week.

Tboss’ crowning comes after a “fight’’ with her ally, DebieRise over her (Tboss) inability to sing the National Anthem during a truth or dare game on Wednesday night.

DebbieRise was the first housemate to benefit from the crown rotation when she was chosen as Head of House by Bisola on Tuesday.

Tboss had expressed her sadness last week after the Head of House task over her inability to win any arena game or task since the show started.

She has come under heavy scrutiny from the public since her involvement in the disqualification of former housemate, Kemen who was accused of sexually assaulting her.

Tboss who has been up for eviction four times has proven to be one of the most emotional housemates as she breaks down in tears at any slight provocation.

The Head of House crown will continue to rotate round the remaining five housemates till the show ends on Sunday, April 9, 2017.

The top five housemates competing for the grand prize of N25 million and a Kia Sorrento SUV are Bisola, Efe, Marvis, Debie-Rise and Tboss

  • TBoss ready to pose nude

    TBoss ready to pose nude

    •As Debie-Rise sings for Bassey

While many Nigerian females shy away from posing nude, Big Brother Naija housemate, Tokunbo Idowu, popularly known as TBoss, has declared she can pose nude in pictures or movies.
When asked on Sunday while dressing up for the eviction show if she could take a nude photo, the Nigerian-Romanian lady replied without hesitation: “Straight up!” She also said she has had her nude photos taken by her sister’s husband who is a photographer.
Aside pictures, she also said she can go nude in a movie when asked by Debie-Rise.
“If it’s a high budget,” she responded. “And I’m paid very well and I’m portrayed very well.”
It will be recalled that TBoss had, at least on two different occasions bared her boobs in the BBN house.
Meanwhile, few minutes to the Sunday eviction show, her ally in the house, Debie-Rise who has a thing for fitness buff, Bassey Ekpeyong, who was evicted from house last Sunday took to her guitar, strumming and singing ‘happy birthday’ for Bassey.
Unfortunately, Debie-Rise who seems enamored of the evicted housemate has no clue that Bassey, when he was interviewed by host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, declared that he ‘has a girlfriend’ and put closure to any relationship with her.
These happened before Kaduna boy, Bally Balat, got booted from the show, exactly eight days to the final.
Big Brother had added a twist to the eviction, bringing palpable tension, with Ebuka announcing to the housemates that whosever relations walked into the house, was the next evictee. Thus, it was a time when none of them wanted to see their loved ones. While Bisola and Efe were excluded from the nomination list, the other four – Bally, TBoss, Debie-Rise and Marvis – were up for eviction and were tensed.
With the chime of doorbell, Bally’s friend, Tola, walked into the house. It was a calm Bally that left the house, knowing his game was over and it was time to kiss the N25m, SUV and other goodies to follow the prize good bye.
Yung6ix, who was supposed to perform at the eviction show couldn’t make it to South Africa but Davido was present to perform his single, ‘IF.’
Prior to the live eviction show, while the others chatted with each other, Debie-Rise kept calm with her guitar beside her, ditto for T-Boss, who did not join in the chatter.
The show which started with 14 housemates and two fake housemates has been filled with drama and intrigues, as they engaged in various tasks and fun activities.
As the show enters its final week, the remaining housemates have a possible chance at becoming the prize winner on Sunday, April 9, 2017.
Speaking with Ebuka after the eviction, the Kaduna DJ, said he was happy for being in the house for long.
“To be honest, I’ve been indifferent since last week,” he said. “I got to the ninth week without being nominated, so I felt like I was blessed already. And I know blessings are coming out next.”
On being strategic with his nominations, 28-year old Bally said, “I went there for the game. The people that were my friends would forever remain my friends.”
And when showed clips portraying intimacy between him and Bisola, he was just laughing.
“Bisola just likes to find trouble,” he said, admitting that he and Bisola remain friends.
“Tony was the victim while he was in the house. After he left, she decided to make me her victim. So, it was what it is. We had fun.”
And though Bally didn’t win, he closed the interview by saying, “I think I achieved more than I thought I could. I was here for 10 weeks, a week away. I’m happy to be here. I’m happy to make it this far. And I know the sky is the starting point for me.”
