A total of N150 million in prizes were doled out to participants that excelled at the second edition of the Digital for All Challenge, organised by Tech4Dev, a leading non-profit driving digital skills empowerment organisation.
The competition was organized across 3 levels: State, regional and the national, which was the grand finale that was held in Abuja.
Out of 15,191 participants, who took part in the state-level assessments, 265 advanced to the regional competitions, culminating in the selection of 46 finalists across the six geo-political zones.
At the grand finale, four winners and eight runner ups representing all 6 geopolitical zones emerged across all categories taking home a combined ₦150 million worth of cash and in-kind prizes. This makes the event one of the largest reward pools for a digital skilling initiative in Africa.
In the K-12 category, Abdulhameed Ibrahim, representing Plateau State, emerged as the winner,
with Al-Amin Bashir from Kaduna State and Samuel Urah from Lagos State as runners-up. The Youth Basic category was won by Ahmad Almustapha, representing Sokoto State, followed by
Emmanuel Ajayi from Kwara State and Olalekan Oladiran from Osun State.

In the Civil Servants category, Opeyemi Oyebowale, representing Ogun State, emerged winner, ahead of Oluchi Chibueze from Abia State and Zakariyya Ibrahim from Niger State.
The Youth Intermediate category, which showcased advanced digital skills, was won by Miracle Michael, representing Niger State, with Chinedum Chimezie from Imo State and Ismail Muhammad from Jigawa State taking second and third place respectively.
The Grand Finale drew the presence of key dignitaries and partners whose support was pivotal to the success of the program.
According to Oladiwura Oladepo, Co-founder and Executive Director of Tech4Dev, the campaign was born from a vision to revolutionize how education and digital skills are valued in Africa.

Other dignitaries at the event include the Honourable Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) representative, Idongesit Udoh.
The Digital for All Challenge 2.0, funded by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and implemented in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is an incentivized national digital literacy and skills-building initiative designed to equip Nigerians with the knowledge and tools to thrive in a technology-driven world and improve economic livelihood.
