  • Tekno releases visuals to new single ‘Woman’

    Augustine Kelechi, popularly known by his stage name Tekno, has released the visual of his recent new single “ Woman”

    The Cartel Music boss shared the video to the first single released on his independent platform, titled, ‘Woman’

    According to him, he is putting out the visuals today to commemorate with a day that is recognized globally as the ‘ International Women’s Day’.

    The artist celebratory record is a record that recognizes the growing and evolving place of women in the present scheme and how the role of a woman should no longer be restricted.

    The visuals of the artist latest single,’Woman’ portrayed the importance of women in the society, where the artist sang excitedly and danced with women in appreciation to their significant.

    The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the singer released his first official song in audio in Jan., where he appreciated the place of a woman in the society and applauded their role in building a family.

    The video for ‘Woman’ was directed by Clarence Peters shows different categories of women as they danced in excitement to the song.

    The lyrics of the song talks about the singer’s emphasised on the importance of women, stressing that they should not be belittled because they could be president.

    The Nigeria music star has won many people award which includes City People Music Award for music producer of the year 2017.

    Also, the MTV Africa Music Award for Best Breakthrough Act 2016 and City People Entertainment Award for new music of the year 2014 and worth over three billion.

  • Techno partners MTN on Mpulse for teenagers

    Techno mobile has partnered MTN to launch mPulse, a unique initiative to channel the work ethic of teenagers and create a subconscious template of optimal productivity which would be beneficial to themselves and their environment.

    The specially designed platform is for youngsters from ages 9 to 15, to enable them learn and gain pragmatic skills while also having fun.

    The unveiling, which held at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, was lit up with excited and the attractions included a Virtual Reality Master Class facilitated by Obaloluwa Odelana, a 13-year-old JSS3 pupil, and the youngest African hyper-realism artist, Kareem Waris Olamilekan of Waspa Art, who inspired children at the event through their craft which had recently gained massive recognition through social media.

    As proud partners of the event, TECNO’s recently released Spark 2 was showcased as the kids trooped to the TECNO experiential booth to have a first-hand feel of the device which comprises features such as a 6.0 HD+ screen, 13MP rear camera, 3500mAh battery and so much more.

    The mPulse package comes with a voice plan and a fun, educative website which hosts a variety of courses and study aids to help children from Primary 1 to SS3 excel. The portal also provides a bouquet of single and multiplayer games, as well as life skill videos, from computer programming, fashion designing, medicine and blogging to engineering, writing, data science and motivational speaking etc.

    Dealers defend Tecno products

    THE Tecno Dealers Association of Nigeria (TDAN) has described mobile phones manufactured by the company as one of the best in the world.

    Its President, Prince Onuigbo Anthony  said this at a briefing in Lagos. He said Tecno is the only mobile phones manufacturer with an indigenous firm in its first line of distribution.

    Onuigbo said they were compelled to address the media because of a publication which described Tecno products substandard.

    “Recently, there was a publication in the media by some individuals who are out to tarnish the image of Tecno brand to confuse the undiscerning public.”

    He said the writers were envious of the growing market of Tech brands in the country, urging the public to disregard them.

    According to him, the Tecno brands have ensured that mobile phones are affordable to the common man.

    “The Tecno brand entered the Nigerian market about six years ago with the vision of giving the consumer value for their money,’’ he said.

  • Techno, Etisalat partner

    TECNO is partnering Qualcomm Incorporated and Etisalat Nigeria to launch the TECNO P3 in the country.

    Speaking at the launch, which held at the in Victoria Island, Lagos, Etisalat unveiled a 12-month special promotion for its subscribers, offering 100MB free data bundle on purchase of a TECNO P3 smartphone.

    The TECNO P3 is an entry-level smartphone that runs on Android 2.3Gingerbread operating system, and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7225A processor to offer users the best 3G smartphone experience, good battery life, and easy access to the Internet and multiple social networks.

    TECNO Group Vice President, Mr Arif Chowdhury, said: “We realised that Internet savvy Nigerians are in dire need of a fast, innovative and seamless Internet experience. These experiences are what TECNO P3 smartphone brings, and that also informs we partnered with Etisalat.”

    Arif added that consumers can choose either the Etisalat customised version available at Etisalat Experience Centres and its partner retailers, or buy the un-customised version from TECNO’s partner retailers nationwide and it comes with the same data bundle offer as the customised version.
