Actress Temitope Osoba has shared a heart-wrenching aspect of her cancer diagnosis.

In an interview on Oyinmomo TV, she said doctors told her that the medications she’d need to take could affect her ability to conceive for the next five years, potentially delaying her chances of having a child until her 40s.

The 38-year-old said the news was devastating for her considering her age.

However, Osoba said she refused to accept this prognosis and instead chose to hold onto her faith.

She began a journey of prayer and fasting, combining spiritual practices with medical treatment.

Fortunately, Osoba said that her CT scan results showed that the cancer hadn’t spread, and she underwent a second surgery to remove the remaining tumor.

She said: “I was told I had cancer and that further tests would be carried out to check how far it had spread. The doctors also said I wouldn’t be able to conceive for the next 5 years because of the medications I’d have to take, as they could affect the baby.

“Hearing that at 38 years old was devastating. I couldn’t imagine waiting that long. But I rejected the report and held on to my faith in God.

“I began the journey with prayer and fasting, combining both the medical and the spiritual. When I did a CT scan, it came out negative; the cancer hadn’t spread. Eventually, they performed a second surgery to remove the remaining tumour”.
