  • France’s Macron to discuss Iran with Trump at G20 Summit

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday that he would discuss Iran with his U.S. counterpart, Donald Trump, at the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan.

Macron told reporters in Marseilles that the standoff between the two countries was a source of concern to him.

“Of course it worries me. I’ve been working on easing tensions since I became president … there will be talks on G20 sidelines, including with President Trump,” he said.

He reiterated that France was committed to the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers.

He said that his diplomatic adviser was in Iran in a bid to bring tensions down in the region.

Washington quit the nuclear pact and reimposed sanctions on Tehran last year. Iran has said it will exceed this week the agreed limits on its stockpile of enriched uranium. Trump announced new sanctions starting Monday to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.

Tensions between the two countries flared after the recent attacks on oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman. Iran downed a US spy drone over the Strait of Hormuz last week, which nearly led to a US military strike on its territory. Several airlines have stopped flying in the area.

  • ‘I would still have killed her if she was my wife, mother or girlfriend’

A murder suspect, Babatunde Muritala aka Muri Ete, has said that he would still have killed one of his victims, Julian Eke Imaga,18, even if she was his wife, mother or sister.

Muritala was arrested by the operatives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Intelligence Response Team for the gruesome killing of one Oriade Adebisi and his girlfriend Julian Eke Imaga, 18.

Confessing at the IRT Eagles Building, Lagos Annex, GRA, Ikeja, Babatunde, who is a cultist, said: ‘’ On the part of his girlfriend, Julian, she did not offend me in any way. She was very innocent and friendly. She was very social and accommodating to friends of her boyfriend. The only reason why I killed her (Julian) was to cover up the murder, so that it would not be possible to link me and others to the murder. I regret killing her, but I had no better choice at that circumstance. If she were to be my mother, sister, wife or girlfriend, I would still have done the same thing, because I knew that if there was any leakage the police would come after us and they will get us.’’

The suspect also said he killed Adebisi because he had refused to share proceeds of his yahoo (Internet scam) ‘business’ with him.

‘’’Another issue I had with him (Adebisi) is that he stopped giving me the little change (money) he used to give me. Instead, he started giving it to my rival cult members. He is a yahoo boy (Internet fraudster). He used to help me financially, but all of a sudden, he stopped. He no longer recognized me as the leader in my territory, my base, my area.’’

Asked why he killed his victims with  plank despite being in possession of a gun, he said: “Our fraternity does not use gun to kill. It is more difficult to track plank during forensic investigation. We feel at home with plank because it would not be easy for police to track us down using plank as a specimen.

‘’Again, gun brings out (loud) sound when fired which can alert neighbours or police to the scene, but plank does not make such sound when you use it to kill.’’

On why they dumped the corpse in an uncompleted building without burying them in graves, he said: “We were working on time. There was no time to dig any grave. Moreover, if exposed in the open the corpses would decompose faster and animals would help to eat up the flesh.’’

Babatunde, a native of Oru in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State, said he dropped out in 200 level at Tai Solarin University, where he was studying Business Administration.

‘’My father has five children; two children from my mother and three children from another woman. My father did not take care of any of us. He is a commercial  driver. He is always giving excuses that he has no money to train us. I later went to train as computer engineer.’’

He claimed that one Sunkanmi, who now lives in Israel, deceitfully initiated him into a cultist group.

‘’Adebisi was a member of Alora cult. Their cult members wear yellow. In March this year, he gave me a bank account number for my yahoo link. We got 1,200 dollars and shared the money; we got another 6,000 dollars which took 24 hours to reflect in (his) bank account.

‘’Our quarrel started on May 28, 2018. I told my girlfriend called Yetunde to watch when Adebisi would drive out (of his residence). When she told me about Adebisi’s movement, I called my friends Sodiq and Taiwo and we kidnapped him and took him to a bush and killed him. I did not rape his girlfriend before we killed her.’’

The second suspect, Taiwo Rasak, 18, said: “I am from Imota, Ikorodu, Lagos. I was initiated into Aiye fraternity in 2015 and I went to stay with Babatunde.

‘’Babatunde told us (myself and Sodiq now at large) that he wanted to kill Oriade Adebisi for parting with his money. Before we killed him (Adebisi), Babatunde ordered him to deactivate his password on his iPhone and he complied.’’

IRT’s South West Coordinator, Philip Rieninwa, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) said the police received a report from one Oriade Rafiu of  Queen Oriade Crescent, Oju-Ore, Otta, Ogun State on May 28, 2018, at about 11pm, that Oriade Adebisi was driving in his Honda Cross tour car with registration number FST 350 FA together with his girlfriend, Julian Eke Imaga, 18, at Oru-Ijebu, when they were abducted by three armed men and killed.

He said that IRT’s operatives arrested the two principal suspects, Babatunde Muritala and Taiwo Rasak.

An iPhone with Etisalat sim card and two pairs of canvas shoes belonging to late Adebisi were recovered from Babatunde.

  • Seven ways to prepare for marriage while you’re still single

THERE is no better time than while you’re single to prepare for an amazing, God-honoring marriage. Here are seven great things you can do while you’re still single (or while you’re single again) to prepare for a successful marriage:

    1. Address your unresolved childhood issues.

You’ve got to take care of the baggage that you’re carrying from childhood. When I do premarital counseling, this is the first topic we always talk about. Your unresolved childhood issues can absolutely sink a marriage. Here is a great quote from nationally respected and recognized marriage experts Les and Leslie Parrot: “If you attempt to build intimacy with a person before you’ve done the handwork of becoming a whole and healthy person, every relationship will be an attempt to complete the hole in your heart.”

Think of it like trying to fill a five-gallon bucket full of water when you’ve got holes in the bottom and on the sides, it’s never going to stay full. Your unresolved childhood issues are some of those issues you need to resolve. And I know that some of you will say, “I don’t have unresolved issues. I talk with my mom, I send her a Mother’s Day card every year.” If you have a parent that is still alive but you don’t have a healthy functioning relationship with them, there may be some issues you need to resolve. For many people, it comes down to your father, or your lack of a father, or an absent father. That’s a real thing.

Even if it means counseling, take care of all of your unresolved childhood issues so you don’t bring that baggage into your future marriage. If you’re divorced, you need to unpack not only the baggage from your childhood, but the baggage from your previous marriage or marriages.

    1. Get out of debt.

In premarital counseling I do with couples, I spend an entire session simply on finances, because 85% (that’s not a scientific number but my experience with couples) of all fights stem from money, or specifically a lack thereof. If you do the hard work to prepare before marriage to take care of your money, you’ll bring less baggage into your marriage and you’ll be less likely to marry someone who can’t take care of their money.

Ladies, if your boyfriend or fiancee has thousands of dollars of debt and kind-of-a-job, RUN! And some of you may be thinking, “I’ll just get out of debt once I’m married!” Ha! Married people, can I get an “Amen!” on how hard it is to get out of debt once you’re married? If you want to prepare successfully for marriage, get out of and stay out of debt. I guarantee you, you’ll thank me later.

    1. Ladies: Don’t dress like a commodity and refuse to be treated like one.

Ladies, I know that the cultural mindset in America is to use your body as bait to get a man, but as followers of Jesus and more importantly as daughters of the King, you’re called to live differently.

Don’t dress like a commodity. Don’t dress in a way that uses your body as bait. Do you know how fisherman know what kind of bait to use? By what kind of fish they’re trying to catch. You don’t fish for crappie the same way you fish for largemouth bass. So ladies, if you dress in a way that uses your body as bait, you’re going to attract guys that view women as a commodity. And some of you might say, “All guys are the same.” No, all the guys you date are the same. There are better guys out there, but you can’t use your body as bait.

Because whatever you catch them with, you’ve got to keep them with. And ladies, I hate to break it to you, but if the only thing keeping your man is your body, you realize that as you get older . . .

If your man treats you like a commodity, kick him to the curb and drop him like a bad habit. You can do so much better than that.

    1. Men: Quit looking at images and listening to music that turn women into a commodity.

Or more specifically, quit looking at porn and quit listening to rap music. Now, women can struggle with porn too. When you look at pornography, it turns people into a commodity. When you listen to music that degrades women, it turns them into a commodity. And if you think you can engage in that stuff without it affecting you, you’re absolutely wrong. Guys, I guarantee you that will wreck your future marriage. So get help, stop it.

    1. Break your bad habits.

Whatever other bad habit you’ve got that you know you need to take care of, take care of it. Maybe it’s drinking, maybe it’s prescription pills, maybe it’s gambling, maybe it’s self-harm or cutting. Getting married and making a promise won’t make those things magically go away. They’ll just make your single person problems a marriage problem.

    1. Postpone the physical components of the relationship as long as possible.

I’m not just talking about sex, I’m talking about everything. When I talk with couples, they never wish they would have gotten physical sooner, they always wish they would have waited.

If you rush in too quick, it’s the third date, we got hot and heavy, she spent the night, that’s changing the fundamentals of the relationship. When you get physical, you’ve stopped building a relationship and now you’re building chemistry. Chemistry is a really lousy thing to build a marriage on.

And this point includes living together. I never, ever recommend that single people move in together. In fact, research has documented time and time again that moving in together before marriage actually decreases likelihood that your marriage will work. This is because you move into together for totally different reasons. Women move in because they see it as a step towards marriage. Men move in to test things out and see if they want to stay in the relationship. As the old saying goes, “Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?”

    1. Get involved in your local church.

Now, you would expect me to say this as a pastor, but this is incredibly important. When you get involved in a local church, wherever you live, when you grow in your faith, when you serve, you’re focusing on becoming the right people, alongside other people who are focusing on becoming right people, which only increases your odds of finding the right person for you.

This worked for me. I met my wife while serving at a Christian youth camp back in the summer of 2001. That’s the first thing I fell in love with about her: her heart for God and her heart for serving others.

  • See Church where Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and resurrected

See Church where Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and resurrected

Christian leaders took the rare step on Sunday of closing Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built where tradition holds Jesus was buried, in protest at Israeli tax measures and a proposed property law.

It was not clear how long the closure of the church, announced by Christian officials at a news conference and which began at around noon (1000 GMT), would last. Church officials said only that it would be until further notice.

The church is considered the holiest site in Christianity, built where Christians believe Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected, and is a major pilgrimage site.

“As a measure of protest, we decided to take this unprecedented step of closure of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre,” Greek Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic and Catholic leaders said in a statement read out in front of the church’s large wooden doors.

They said recent Israeli measures seemed to be “an attempt to weaken the Christian presence in Jerusalem”.

The decision to close the church was extremely rare.

In 1990, Christian sites including the Holy Sepulchre were closed for a day to protest the installation of Jewish settlers near the church, located in Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem.

Christian sites were shut again for two days in 1999 to protest the planned construction of a mosque near Nazareth’s Church of the Annunciation, where tradition holds the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary she was to become the mother of Jesus.

Christian leaders have been angered over attempts by Israeli authorities in Jerusalem to enforce tax collection on church property they consider commercial, saying exemptions only apply to places of worship or religious teaching.

Separately, Christian leaders say legislation being considered by Israel’s government would allow church property to be expropriated.

“This reminds us all of laws of a similar nature which were enacted against the Jews during a dark period in Europe,” the statement said.

An Israeli ministerial committee on Sunday delayed action on the bill for a week.

Confused tourists stood in front of the church’s closed doors in Jerusalem’s Old City after the announcement, as tour guides sought to explain why they could not visit.

One man knelt and prayed as workers began putting metal barriers around the entrance.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said in a statement that the city was due 650 million shekels ($186 million/152 million euros) in uncollected taxes on church properties, which he called “illegal and irrational”.

Barkat stressed that the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and all other churches were exempt from the taxes and would remain so, with the changes only affecting establishments like “hotels, halls and businesses” owned by the churches.

Christian leaders say the measure jeopardises their ability to conduct their work, which includes not only religious but also social services to those in need.

According to Israeli media, the foreign ministry has been critical of the Jerusalem mayor’s decision on church taxation, with officials saying the move was harmful to a decades-long status quo.

A separate bill seeks to allay fears of Israelis who live in homes on lands previously held by the Greek Orthodox Church and which were sold to private developers, according to Rachel Azaria of the centrist Kulanu party, who is proposing the legislation.

Recent land sales by the Greek Orthodox Church — a major landowner in Jerusalem — to unknown buyers have drawn fire from both Israelis and Palestinians.

Palestinians fear the sales will favour Israeli settlement construction in east Jerusalem, while Israelis are concerned over private developers’ intentions for the land.

Knocks, Kudos for Corps member who turns trouser to skirt

In connection with the controversial picture  on social media on Tuesday of a Youth corps member, who turned her trouser to skirt, Nigerians have been quick to reacting.

while some thinks her action was right, others feel she should be punished for it.

    Some of the reactions are:

Adesimbo Oluwasusi, backing up his point with a picture of Sweden Police in skirt, he said:

“If female officers can wear skirts, why can’t “youth corper” wear one. The important thing is that modified attire does not interfere with her responsibilities and she is comfortable. We worry too much about other people’ headache o! Na wa!”

    Lawan Ajimi

“See hypocrisy of Nigerian just imagine recently a one Muslim girl deny her to call to bar just because she wear hijab ? but when this girl change her trouser to skirt they started compare her with Sweden police skirt”

    Yinka Afe

NYSC should by now develop strict (printed) rules, give to 400Levels across institutions, if you concur, you sign before collecting a call up. After this process, if you get there to alter the rules and regulations, you’re fired. The same goes for the Law School. It’s indiscipline to alter the rules you’ve agreed to uphold”

    Benny Odhomi

“She should be decamped as she has violated the dress code! Every religion forbids disobedience of constituted authorities.”

    Israel I-sax Adeyanju

    Ogboji Ikwuta

“funny though but its her choice… I think d main reason why it all comes in trouser is bcus it makes you look smart and active at all times.”

    Orlarwoying Newton D’or

“It’s a stupid choice.. She’s gonna engage with another of work out in the camp and skirt won’t be appropriate..”

You can’t choose what to wear on camp ground, there is a uniform that everyone must comply with. She just want to be disobedient”

    Idara Udo-inyang

“So putting on a skirt makes her more of a Christian than every other person huh?…. I feel disgusted when people try to mix religion and law. You’re meant to put on a trouser for the rigorous exercises you’d undergo. You can still cover all parts of your body, from your head to your toe and still go to hell!!!!!”

    Engr Suleiman Mora Zakariya

“Nothing wrong about it. After all the most discipline organization (armed forces) that train them also have skirt as part of their dressing regulations. So bravo to her.”

    Igwilo Noble Ngozi

“Is her choice to make but i do belive d NYSC board has got some do’s and dont moreover d trouser of a thing is due to the numerous activities which involves stretching d legs like jogging climbing and lots more. • The pretty, sexy king: The Story of Bobrisky

The pretty, sexy king: The Story of Bobrisky

Famed as Africa’s male Barbie, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, never shies away from controversies. In spite of the criticisms against his personality, the 25-year- old beautician is resolute on living his life the way he wants, writes OLAITAN GANIU.

    Controversy over arrest by Police

Following the news of the ‘arrest’ of Nigerian internet personality and beautician, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, for allegedly proclaiming himself as gay, the police have cleared him.

“I don’t know about the arrest, and the command did not arrest him,” the Lagos State Acting Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, said on Wednesday.

“He does not have any problem with the command. Ask him who arrested him.”

More so, the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos, SP Dolapo Badmos, also denied the arrest of the cross-dresser.

She said, “I am not aware of the arrest. Maybe he was arrested somewhere else.”

On Tuesday, the internet was awash with stories of the arrest of the Nigerian Snapchat Queen by police officers attached to a Lekki police station for coming out as gay in an Instagram post.

“All these house boys and girls coming to drop comment on page are you all stupid?” Bobrisky wrote.

“Do you think your hate comments can change me? Why are you trying so hard to get my attention?… If all your insult bothered me, I should have stopped posting here. Yes am gay, I will go to hell fire. Thanks. Please what else? I’m tired of those same words. I wanna hear something new.”

Though he later deleted the post, the attention had begun because in previous interviews, Bobrisky, despite his effeminate ways of cross-dressing, wearing make-up, had always denied being gay. While the allegation of being gay had always hung over Bobrisky, some people thought it was strange that such could warrant the police to arrest him, given his controversial posture as a cross-dresser and skin bleaching cream agent. In fact, another report speculated that behind Bobrisky’s arrest is connected to a running battle with socialite Toyin Lawani, an allegation which Lawani’s crew have refuted. But Bobrisky does not believe it.

On Wednesday, Bobrisky accused Toyin Lawani of being behind his ordeal.

“Toyin Lawani asked her lawyer to write petitions against me claiming that I worked for her and I’m selling cream to all her customers,” he revealed to Linda Ikeji Blog. Lawani had allegedly called him a riff-raff during a social media rift.

“Which was a fat lie? I never worked for Toyin. She was my friend. I can’t remember ever working for Toyin or learning how to make cream from her.

“Then she also said I threatened her. So we are going to Abuja because that was where the case was reported. Before she wrote petitions against me, she had already threatened me that she is giving me 7 days to go to the internet and apologize to her which I said no way because she offended me. I think because I refused to apologize, she got the police involved.”

Bobrisky also said the police took his phones and was told he would need to wait until the next morning to go to Abuja. In 2016, police arrested Bobrisky for allegedly beating up a lady who allegedly took photos of him.

    His early days

While almost every human society throughout history followed norms and designated conventions of cultural behaviours including clothing for each genders or age, there exist some exceptions.  But who is exactly is this fair-complexioned Bobrisky, perhaps, Nigeria’s most famous cross-dresser who falls into such category.

Bobrisky who lost his mother in 2008 was born in 1992 in Ebutte Meta, Lagos into a Muslim family. And in interview conducted in 2016, Bobrisky said he coined his brand name by adding ‘risky’ to Bobo, the name his family called him as a child.

“I was born in a polygamous family,” said Bobrisky who attended Kings College, Lagos before attending University of Lagos, where he graduated from the department of accounting. He lost his mother

“My dad has three wives. My mom is the last wife and I, the last born of the family. My family use to call me Bobo while growing up. I was like, ‘let me add risky because I love to take risk.’ That’s why I came up with Bobrisky.”

    The skin-whitening business

AND in 2014, Bobrisky got trapped in his biggest risk, cross-dressing, due to peer pressure, he said. It would also take another risk – him being mocked for being dark in complexion – for Bobrisky to discover his now lucrative bleaching cream business.

“I went to Dubai with my friends (and) while gisting, a naughty friend just said, I’m too black that I need to bleach maybe to chocolate or tone up a little,” he said.

“I was like lemme try to tone up, but the cream made (me) to have scratches, dark spots and dark knuckles. I was like lemme kuku make everything blend since I have no choice.”

After Bobrisky turned from black to white, he abandoned his unisex shop at Ikeja, where he sold ladies’ wears and started selling the cream to his admirers.

“As a cream seller and make-up artiste, I put everything on, to advertise my product – bobrisky is not doing it lure men. People starting adding me on Snap and Instagram because of my makeup and bleaching cream. I sold my cream to other countries like Gambia, Zimbabwe, Canada, Austria and UK, the blog there are promoting my business on their blog.”

Since then, his brand of cream has attracted wealthy clientele and the Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State indigene, with his social media presence, has gradually become one of Nigeria’s most controversial internet personality. He also sells expensive skin-whitening reams which go for as much as 100, 000 naira as he writes about his ostentatious life on social media. He has also reportedly got invites to elite gigs and even made a debut as an actor in a movie, Ojuloge, with Tayo Sobola and Toyin Afolayan. And for a week last year, Bobrisky came out tops on Google search. Google’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Anglophone West Africa, Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, in a statement disclosed that Bobrisky was most searched on the global search engine between October 26 and November 2, 2016.

“Top trending searches on Google this week went from a fashionable man with a different dress sense to a search for a chemistry, which is neither a subject nor love bond,” said Kola-Ogunlade.

“Bobrisky, ‘Africa’s Male Barbie’ became a search interest this week after a presidential aide pulled off from a new media conference, because he could not share the stage with the social media sensation.

“Bobrisky had earlier dominated Google search some months back, for cross-dressing, use of makeup and stories of highlife with a secret ‘bae’.”

The gay allegation and sexual harassment

APART from his sexy voice and mannerisms, dressings like a woman, Bobrisky recorded more followers, mostly males, on his Snapchat account when he claimed he has boyfriend, known as BAE. Though, he refused to reveal his mysterious friend’s gender, he would use ‘him’ when talking about his BAE. And in October 2016, Bobrisky posted a photo where he posed with N7 million which he received from his ‘BAE.’

“Many times, men have mistaken me for a woman because of my feminine looks,” Bobrisky said, denying being gay, despite ‘twerking and whining’ on social media.

“And they have tried to lure him to bed with money and have failed.”

Though Bobrisky said he is currently single after his girlfriend left him because he wore make-up, he plans to settle down and have a family.

“One day, we went out for a dinner and a white man was staring at me,” she said of how he and his girlfriend separated.

“She got notice and she broke up with me. Since then, I’ve been dating other women but I’m not ready to settle down.”

    Life in a homophobic society

IN Nigeria, involvement in same-sex relationships is punishable with 14 years’ imprisonment as prescribed by the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act (SSMPA) which became a law in 2013. However, arrests are infrequent as homosexuals live in hiding. Hence, it is ironic that the social media account of Bobrisky which tends toward homosexuality is very active. The two major religions practiced in the country – Christianity and Islam also frown against homosexual acts. While the bible in Deuteronomy 22:5 which reads ‘”A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this,’ frowns against cross-dressing, Sharia law prescribes death for people found guilty of engaging in same-sex acts.

    Expert’s view on cross-dressing

A psychologist warns that cross-dressers may begin wearing clothing associated with the opposite sex in childhood, using the clothes of a sibling, parent, or friend. Some parents have said they allowed their children to cross-dress and, in many cases, the child stopped when they became older.

At 25, perhaps, it is not yet time for Bobrisky to change.

Zobo leaves are usually very dusty, so make sure you wash off the dust thoroughly. It will seem like all the flavours/colour of the zobo are being washed off but don’t worry, you would be impressed to find out that the leaves still have a lot of the colour intact when you start boiling it.

Wash, peel and cut the pineapple into thin slices. Some people add the peel of the pineapple when making the zobo drink but I don’t do this, simply because I always think that dirt sticks to the peels of pineapples.

Similarly, peel and cut the ginger and garlic into tiny pieces.

    DIRECTIONS

    1. Put the washed zobo leaves into a deep pot.
    2. Add the pineapples and pour enough hot water to consume the contents of the pot and then some garlic at this initial stage.
    3. Start cooking at medium to high heat and let it boil for about 5 minutes.
    4. Now, add the ginger and the garlic, more water and keep boiling for the next 30 minutes. This is the actual time it would take for the zobo leaves to be completely soft and the pineapples tender.
    5. Turn off the heat and set the pot aside to cool down completely.
    6. When cool, wring out the juice from the pineapples and zobo leaves, leaving only the zobo juice in the pot.
    7. Pour the juice through a sieve to take out the remaining large particles then pour it through a chiffon cloth to remove the tiniest particles.
    8. Add any artificial flavour of your choice at this time and stir.
    9. Pour into bottles and refrigerate. Your Roselle drinks is ready but remember that it is best-served chill.
Finally, serve with ice and sliced fruits. Enjoy with any snack of your choice.

Pregnant at 19, Married at 20, Separated at 23

Biola Makanjuola a Canada-based Nigerian relationship coach took to her Facebook page to share her experience of getting pregnant when she was 19 and her marriage to her baby daddy at age 20 thinking a marriage to her child’s father would fix things for her and then separation at 23 due to emotional abuse and a toxic relationship.

She encourages people who have experienced similar feelings of despair.

    She says:

“Got pregnant at the age of 19, was zero’d out, condemned, alone and lost. Became a mother & thought it best to make it official with my son’s dad at the age of 20

Got into unhealthy patterns in our relationship that led to emotional abuse and toxicity for the most part. Finally got the courage to separate at the age of 23 after going through an abortion and Sexually Transmitted Disease.

This started my downward spiral into involving myself in multiple toxic relationships between the ages of 24 – 27 Confused, lost, dark, toxic relationships was my drug of choice. Felt unworthy, self-esteem dragging on the floor begging to be picked up, had little or no confidence, gave up my power to define who I was to other people because I just hated the woman I had become. I constantly questioned why I was so different and abnormal.

My body defined my worth. I clearly had nothing to offer. My single motherhood didn’t even help. They said I couldn’t do any better because of my baggage. I agreed with them and gave them my power. It was their word over mine.

Finally got tired of engaging in this toxic cycle and decided to embrace my difference. At this point, I was tired! I was sick! I was done! I found my light towards the end of 2016.

Found the love I had been seeking the whole time in myself. Things started clicking. I found my purpose. I realized I had a story to tell and was determined to share. I was worthy and enough the whole time and didn’t even know it. I finally found my voice and I promised myself to speak my truth.

I promised God that if he took me out of my misery and showed me the way, I will spend the rest of my life serving.
Currently serving and growing a tribe of women who believe in their power to create their stories and would do anything to make it happen”.
