All living things are subject to decay, however, and so too is all fame and glory. In recent times, Tina’s star has begun to wane. This is accelerated by her advancing years and further compounded by some emotional issues she had with former lover, Sogo Agboola. These days, Tina steers clear of most events. She seems to have  “retired” from the social scene and left the stage for younger women.

But it would seem that some irrepressible forces of nature are trying to stop Yeye Tina Ogundoyin in her tracks in the wake of some “emotional issues” with her heartthrob and popular socialite, Sogo Agboola. The fair-complexioned beauty popularly called Queen of Sheba does not have age on her side and has chosen to recoil into a shell from which she comes out occasionally.

She has become selective in the gigs she attends these days, leaving the art of gallivanting to younger ladies.

A major factor that keeps the Nigerian social scene alive is the chain of controversies that spark up on a daily basis. Tina Ogundoyin has had her fair share of them. And after a stint that spanned several years, she seems to have finally packed her bags and called the social scene quits.
